The Blessings...

Psalm 133 gives us a prophetic "word of knowledge"
   Verse 1.  in "type" {a figurative description}
   Verse 2.  in "shadow" {a resemblance}
Verse 3.  an event to come {the prophetic future].

   Psalm 133  (NKJV)
1  Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!

2  It is like the precious oil upon the head,
       Running down on the beard,
       The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
3  It is like the dew of Hermon,
       Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing --
       Life forevermore.

The Lord commanded the blessing:

The Father poured out the Oil of the Holy Spirit on His Risen Son!
Crowned Him with Glory... King, Prophet, and High Priest!

The Oil of the Holy Ghost has been poured out!
Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to baptize in fire!
To those who will receive Him!

   ANOINT
Persons were rubbed with oil for health (Mark 6:13), because of the widespread belief
   in the healing power of oil. It was often employed as a mark of hospitality (Luke 7:46);
as a mark of special honor (John 11:2); in preparation for social occasions
   (Ruth 3:3; 2 Sam 14:2; Isa 61:3).

The figurative use of anoint (chrio) depicts having oil poured or rubbed upon the
    body.
It has reference strictly to the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the individual
    (Luke 4:18; Acts 4:27; 10:38).
In this sense it is God who anoints (Heb 1:9; 2 Cor 1:21).
    1.  He comes to appoint, or qualify for a special dignity, function or privilege.
    2.  It is in this sense that the word is applied to Christ
        (John 1:41; Acts 4:27; 10:38; Heb 1:9; compare Ps 2:2; Dan 9:25).

   Acts 10:38  (
AMP)
How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit
and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and,
in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of]
the devil, for God was with Him.

   HERMON
Mt. Hermon is the source of many blessings to the land over which it so proudly
lifts its splendid form. Refreshing breezes blow from its cold heights. Its snows
are carried to Damascus and to the towns on the seaboard, where, mingled with
the sharab, "drink," they mitigate the heat of the Syrian summer. Great reservoirs in
the depths of the mountain, fed by the melting snows, find outlet in the magnificent
springs at Chasbeiyeh, Tell el-Kady, and Banias, while the dew-clouds of Hermon
bring a benediction wherever they are carried (Ps 133:3).

   Psalm 2:6-7  (AMP)

6 Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.

7  I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day
       [I declare]
I have begotten You. [Heb 1:5; 3:5,6; 2 Peter 1:17,18.]

The Blessing of God is on His people through Jesus Christ!
At the Top of the list is Salvation the way to Eternal Life!

Jesus sits on the throne to rule eternally!
In Acts 2:33-36 we are enlightened to the inauguration of Christ to the throne
of David. We "see" the type and shadow of Psalm 133 as God the Father pours
out the Eternal Oil, the Holy Ghost, anointing Jesus as King with all power and
authority to rule and reign the heavens and the earth. Figuratively, Holy Ghost
flows from the top of Christ's head down His beard onto His Priestly and Kingly
robe all the way to the hem of His garment and then from heaven moves
omnipresently to earth into the upper room where 120 followers of Christ
   are waiting.

Acts 2:30-36 (AMP)
30 Being however a prophet, and knowing that God had sealed to him
        with an oath
        that He
would set one of his descendants on his throne,
        [2 Sam 7:12-16; Ps 132:11.]

31 He, foreseeing this, spoke [by foreknowledge] of the resurrection of the Christ
(the Messiah) that He was not deserted [in death] and left in Hades
(the state of departed spirits), nor did His body know decay or see destruction.
        [Ps 16:10.]
32 This Jesus God raised up, and of that all we [His disciples] are witnesses.
33 Being therefore lifted high by and to the right hand of God, and having
        received from
the Father the promised [blessing which is the] Holy Spirit,
        He has made this outpouring
which you yourselves both see and hear.
34 For David did not ascend into the heavens; yet he himself says, The Lord said to
        my
Lord, Sit at My right hand and share My throne
35 Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet. [Ps 110:1.]
36 Therefore let the whole house of Israel recognize beyond all doubt and
        acknowledge
assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ
        (the Messiah)
--this Jesus Whom you crucified.

Holy Ghost is sent to earth to confirm Jesus is Lord!

This glorious day of Pentecost:

   Promise of the Holy Spirit...
The promise of a new power coming from the divine Spirit,
giving not only comfort and insight into truth but fresh powers of utterance of
some kind, appears often in our Lord's teaching. The disciples were to take
no thought of what they should speak, for the Spirit of their Father would
speak in them (Matt 10:19-20; Mark 13:11). The lips of Galilean peasants were
to speak freely and boldly before kings. In Mark 16:17 we have a more definite term
employed: "They will speak with new tongues."

The Promised Blessing of the Father...
(see webpage "Matter of the Heart" in Inner Chambers)

     Acts 2:1-4  (AMP)
1 AND WHEN the day of Pentecost had fully come,
they were all assembled together in one place,

2 When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent
tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting.

3 And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and
distributed and which settled on each one of them.

4 And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls)
with the Holy Spirit and began to
speak in other (different, foreign)
languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them

clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].

Jesus confirms His Word to the Disciples!

    John 16:15-23 (AMP)
15 Everything that the Father has is Mine.
That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things
that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
16 In a little while you will no longer see Me,
and again after a short while you will see Me.
17 So some of His disciples questioned among themselves,
What does He mean when He tells us, In a little while you will no longer see Me,
and again after a short while you will see Me, and, Because I go to My Father?

18 What does He mean by a little while?
We do not know or understand what He is talking about.

19 Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him, so He said to them,
Are you wondering and inquiring among yourselves what I meant when I said,
In a little while you will no longer see Me,
and again after a short while you will see Me?

20 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that you shall weep and grieve,
but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful,
        but your sorrow will be turned into joy. {note: Joy in the Holy Ghost!}
21 A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief (anguish, agony)
because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child,
she no longer remembers her pain (trouble, anguish)
because she is so glad that a man (a child, a human being)
has been born into the world.

    22 So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed);
but I will see you again and [then] your hearts will rejoice,
and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).
23 And when that time comes, you will ask nothing of Me
[you will need to ask Me no questions]. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name
[as presenting all that I AM.] [Ex 3:14.]

=======================================
God is not limited to whom He Blesses or how He purposes to bestow Blessings!
      Genesis 49:25 (AMP)
By the God of your father who will help you,
And by the Almighty who blesses you
With blessings of the heavens above,
Blessings lying in the deep that couches beneath,
Blessings of the [nursing] breasts and of the [fertile] womb.

=======================================

     God is the Blesser!
He is the God of Increase and Multiplicity!
   3 John 2  (AMP)
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body]
      may keep well, even as
[I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.

There are multiple Blessings in store
  for those who will seek
and purchase the Pearl!
   Matt 13:45-46  (AMP)
45 Again the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a dealer in search of
        fine and precious pearls,

46 Who, on finding a single pearl of great price,
went and sold all he had and bought it.

Life in the Kingdom is worth the price of divesting of
all other treasures to attain the highest prize...Life eternal with Christ!
It is the most simple purchase we can ever make.

The cost of the pearl: a changed heart which diligently seeks God.

  Multiple Blessings...
   As Jude records,

Jude 2  (
NKJV)

Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
God is the multiplier of Mercy.
God is the multiplier of Peace.
God is the multiplier of Love.
   1 Chronicles 16:34 (AMP)
O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy
   and loving-kindness endure forever!.

God has a plan for all mankind!
   Isaiah 11:9b  (
KJV)

...They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth
shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

1.  The knowledge is the Word of God
    2.  The waters represent the presence of the Holy Spirit
    3.
The sea represents mankind.

We are in the Season of Great Blessings!

Through Christ Jesus, we also have inherited the BLESSINGS promised to Abraham!

    Deuteronomy 28:1-14
  (AMP)

1 IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God,
being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day,
the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.
2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you
if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.
3 Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body the fruit of your ground
and the fruit of your beasts, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock.
5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading trough.
6 Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7 The Lord shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated
before your face; they shall come out against you one way
and flee before you seven ways.
8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouse
and in all that you undertake. And He will bless you in the land
which the Lord your God gives you.
9 The Lord will establish you as a people holy to Himself, as He has sworn to you,
if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name
[and in the presence of] the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.
11 And the Lord shall make you have a surplus of prosperity,
through the fruit of your body, of your livestock, and of your ground,
in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.
12 The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain
      of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands;
and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
13 And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above
only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the
Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.
14 And you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day,
to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

The Blessing of the City of Lights!
    Rev 21:23-26  (AMP)

23 And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to give light to it,
for the splendor and radiance (glory) of God illuminate it,
and the Lamb is its lamp. [Isa 24:23; 60:1,19.]
24 The nations shall walk by its light and the rulers and leaders of the earth
shall bring into it their glory.
25 And its gates shall never be closed by day, and there shall be no night there.
        [Isa 60:11.]
26 They shall bring the glory (the splendor and majesty)
and the honor of the nations into it.
