God has given
us unlimited
grace and a
spiritual
foundation in
which we may
Hope!
Hope
is
the object of
the things not
seen!
There must be
a Vision in
order for
there to be
Faith and
faith must be
firm in order
that
Hope is
instilled!
God
had a plan for
mankind when
He created the
heavens and
the
earth and
everything
upon the
earth!
Habakkuk

the vision
And
engrave it
plainly on
[clay] tablets
So
that the one
who reads it

need
to "see" the
"vision" of
God released
to us with our

perseverance

His promises
to manifest in
our lives and
ministries.

Gospel of

special
messengers,
ambassadors)
reveals
the
Truth and
Spirit Life of
Jesus
Christ.
There must be
VISION to

way that we

we are IN
CHRIST, we are
empowered to
"BEHOLD DIVINE

Hebrews
11:1

faith is the
assurance
(title deed,
confirmation)
of things
hoped for
(divinely
guaranteed),
and the
evidence of
things not
seen [the
conviction of
their reality
—faith
comprehends
as fact what
cannot be
experienced by
the physical
senses].
The
Holy Spirit
inspired
Isaiah to
proclaim and
decree God's
Plan to fully
reveal
Himself!
[Note:
Isaiah
foretold of
events to
become
manifest in
the
future.
His decrees
and
proclamations
are
tested through
the space of
time and found
as Truth...
He
thus fulfilled
the function
of a
"prophet."]
As
an
"eye-witness"
disciple,
John, the
Beloved,
reports the
proclamations
and decrees
of
John the
Baptist who
experiences
the revelation
of Jesus, the
Son, Father
God and
the
Holy Spirit!
We cannot
physically see
Father God for
He is Spirit,
BUT, we can
"see"
Him and all
His Glory
through the
One He sent to
reveal
Himself!

To
"see" Christ
we must first
believe that
He is the only
Begotten Son
of Father God
and
that He was
sent to reveal
the The
Kingdom of
God/Heaven in
the Natural,
that the
Spiritual Plan
and Dynamics
could be
Understood!
The
first verse of
the Book of
Isaiah states
that Isaiah
prophesied
during the
reigns
of
Uzziah (or
Azariah),
Jotham, Ahaz,
and Hezekiah,
the kings of
Judah (Isaiah
1:1).
That
Uzziah's reign
was 52 years
in the middle
of the 8th
century BC,
and by
deduction,
we
can determined
that Isaiah
began his
ministry a few
years before
Uzziah's
death;
approximately
in the 740s
BC.
Biblical
history
discloses that
Isaiah lived
until the
fourteenth
year of
Hezekiah's
reign (who
died 698 BC),
and may have
been a
contemporary
for
some years
with Manasseh
son of
Hezekiah king
of Judah.
Isaiah
may have
prophesied for
as long as 64
years.
For
a period of
700 years the
nation of
Israel held to
Divine Hope,
that the
Messiah
would
be revealed
knowing that
God had always
shown Himself
faithful to
His promises
It
was Isaiah who
prophesied the
coming of the
the Lord Jesus
and proclaimed
the
empowerment
in which He
would walk!
The
following
passages are
so exacting
that we of
Spiritual
Israel claim
them as
the
foundation in
which we too
are destined
to experience!
Why
to we Behold
such Divine
Hope?
Answer:
We
believe in the
maturing and
equipping
ministries
given as by
Jesus
as
characteristics
of
His
ministry!
We are
admonished to
be like Him!
ISAIAH's
declaration...
Isaiah

the Lord God
is upon me,
because the
Lord has
anointed and
qualified
me to preach
the Gospel of
good tidings
to the meek,
the poor, and
afflicted;

bind up and
heal the

and spiritual]
captives and
the opening of
the prison and
of the eyes
to
those who are
bound,

the acceptable
year of the
Lord [the year
of His favor]

vengeance of

Natural Israel
did not
experience
this glorious

Isaiah. As
revealed
in
the Gospel of
Christ,
Israel's
leadership had
become
apostate and
therefore they
missed
their Day of
Consolation...the
arrival of
their promised
Messiah.

was sent,
proclaimed and
demonstrated
the Kingdom
and the
hypocritical
and
corrupt
Religious
Rulers
of the
crucified for
declaring
Himself
as
the Son of
God, the
Messiah. (in Hebrew,
Yoshua
or
Yahushua).]

wondered...How
the spelling
of the Name:
JESUS
originated?
Did
yop know that
early writers
to the
disciples at
Rome, used a
Gentile name
that
originates
from
the Latin form
(/ˈdʒiːzəs/;
Greek:

Iesus)
as
translation
of
Yahshua,
the Hebrew

related to the

An
interesting
point is the
Greek name Iesous
is related to
the Hebrew

The Hebrew,

was replaced
by the names
of G-zeus
("Iesus"),

the
"Supreme
Eminence"

God."
The citizens
of the Gentile
Roman
empire would
fully
understand His
position in
rank and
order.Their

was the pagan
Greek god of
the sky,
weather,
air,
lightning,
honor and
justice in
ancient Greek
religion. He
ruled as the
Supreme
God and King
of Olympus of

gods of Mount
Olympus.
But,
the
most
interesting of
Christ's Name
is that the
"J" of Jesus
was not part
of
the Greek
alphabet. Nor
was it used in
the "original"
notes of the
1611 King
James
Bible. It was
only about 500
years ago when
the "J" was
initiated in
English
translations.
Now,
Today's
contemporary
global
languages have
different
spellings
for
the Messiah,
the Son of
God!

New Testament

that confirms

events we have

The Holy
Spirit is
pin-point
accurate as He
inspires and
guides those
chosen to
record and
examine the
Divine details
of both
historical and
spiritual
significance
that shall
"speak" and
"attest" of
the Marvelous
Light of Jesus

Along
with knowledge
of the History
of God working
out His Will,
Plan, and
Purposes,
we
begin to
receive deeper
spiritual
Revelation of
Jesus Christ
as presented
in diverse
forms
of
discernment,
comprehension
and
interpretation.
Facts,
emotions,
acts,
imagery,
parables,
commands,
ordinances,
miracles,
blessings
and a host of
other factors
open us to
receive
enlightenment,
illumination
and revelation
of
the WORD of
God contained
within the
pages of the
Holy Bible
which declares
God as One
God, the
Blessed
Trinity,...
Father, Son
and Holy
Spirit.
The
Holy Spirit is
the Spirit of
Revelation.
He
opens our
spirit mind to
the spiritual
Light of God!
(Truth, Life
and Spirit)
How
can one
receive His
enlightenment
if the Word of
the Lord, "the
Bread of Life"
is
not taken
within one's
spirit?
Answer:
We must "eat"
and "drink" of
God... read,
understand and
act upon His
Word.
As
we change our
mind and
change our
relationship
toward
spending time
with God
the
Word, and God
the Holy
Spirit, we
live with a
fresh outlook
to live in
God's Light,
"see"
into the Light
and "breathe"
the newness of
faith, hope
and love!

The
Light of the

you. You can
fully "feel"
it!

takes charge
and your shift

what you say

Giving
time, energy
and service to

second nature.

becomes

Living Hope of

Our
"hope" is not
limited to
what many
express as the
" blessed
hope,"
a "someday"
return of
Christ
that we may be
in the
presence of
the Lord...
But, our
"Hope" is in
the ever
active,
dynamic
Daily Living
in the Light
of Christ that
we
Behold Him,
Now and
Forevermore!
God lives in
His blood

Redeemed!

Natural, the
Physical, the
Material
which
is Temporal;
things
seen. in
order to
discover by
the Spirit,
the Light of
Truth,
we
seek that
which is
Spiritual, and
Eternal;
things Not
Seen by the
Natural Mind
of man.
God's
Covenant of
Promises to
the Natural
Hebrew nation
were
established by
His
Word and
manifest
Presence of
Glory.
His Promises
and His
Presence were
only
accessible
through a
substitute
living
sacrifice of
an
'unblemished"
animal
and
the blood
covering or
sprinkling
over every
part of the
Tabernacle.
[Recall
that God
killed animals
to cover the
"nakedness" of
Adam and Eve's
physical
bodies
and cover
their
spiritual sin
of rebellion.
He gave them
grace and
demonstrated
mercy
as He
expressed His
love for His
creation made
after His
image.

had commanded:
"Do not eat of
the tree of
the knowledge
of good and
evil."
It
took the
sacrifice of
the "natural
life source"
which is the
blood to atone
for their
disobedience.

His approval
upon Abel

had offered
his very best
animal.

life giving

David knew

throne" but

understand

Eternal
Throne!
The principle we want to
grasp here is
that God has a
plan for
everyone and
that plan
is
given that we
Behold Divine
Hope as we
look forward
to its
manifestation!

David had with

understand or
appreciate
that which is
spiritual and
eternal unless

first "sees"
the natural
and temporal
in it's
physical
realities!

was anointed

poured upon

David had been
anointed king
over all
Israel, he
captured Zion
and there set
up
the
Tabernacle by
which his name
is
known.
As
he was sitting
in his own
house one day,
after the Lord
had given him
a victory
over
his enemies,
David became
greatly
concerned
about a house
for God.
[Note: "Being
greatly
concerned"
about the
welfare of God
and His
business to
expand
Christ's
Kingdom
in the earth
is a "key" to
the direction
He wants us to
walk in
ministry.]
David reported
to the
"prophet"
Nathan that as
king of
Israel, he had
a beautiful
house,
but
the Ark of
God, the King
of Kings was
in a tent,
within
curtains.
Nathan
encouraged
David
to do what was
in his
heart.
[Note that we
are given two
more "keys" to
our callings.
First, we must
declare
or tell others
how we are
"greatly
concerned"
about a
spiritual
matter or
vision!
Second, we
must take
action on what
is in our
heart.
David's
heart's desire
was to build
God a house in
which to place
the Ark.
However,
the "word of
the Lord" came
to Nathan
instructing
him to tell
David
that
he would not
build God a
house, but his
son, Solomon,
would.
Additionally,
the
Lord reminded
David that
ever since
Israel's
exodus from
Egypt.
He had not
asked
anyone to
build Him a
house.
[Note:
When our heart
is set on a
matter that is
not in the
design of
God's plan,
He
will reveal to
us that the
"door" is
closed.]

God gave contents of the Covenant between Him and David
to Nathan by a
"vision"
in
the night!
Nathan then
told David
what God
spoken
him!
There are a
number of
scriptures
scattered
throughout
the Psalms and
"Books of the
Prophets"
pertaining
to
the Davidic
Covenant. It
is clear that
they point to
Jesus Christ ,
David's Son,
in
ultimate
fulfillment.
This AWESOME
"key"
demonstrated
that God made
a Covenant
with David and
He
kept it! The
Covenant was
an Everlasting
Promise
involving
David's
"seed,"
house,
kingdom and
throne.
it was an
unbreakable
Covenant!
It also
invoked
punishment
on David's
sinful "seed."
Matthew, Mark
and Luke
report the
degree
of
abominable
acts and their
consequences
in the "Seven
Woes" Jesus
spoke to
some
of His
disciples on
Mount of
Olives. The
Covenant
taught David
the Divine
essence
of Beholding
Divine
Hope.
David did not
"see" the
fulfillment of
God's
Promise, but,
he understood
the the
contents of
it!
“Hope”
is not
withheld from
anyone.
But, there is
obligation to
keep, tend and
protect
your heart,
soul and mind
from the ways
of the world
and to
continue
to
bring your
thoughts and
actions into
conformity to
the "Mind of
Christ."

every believer
since the time

Resurrection
will be raised
to life?

recorded that
to be absent
from
the body is to
be in the
presence of

Paul explains
how the Spirit
transforms
believers so
they are
conformed to
the image of
Jesus.
He clarifies
that this
change means
believers
embody Jesus’
death through
suffering and
participate in
His present,
risen life.

Holy Spirit’s

James, brother
of the Lord,
was an elder

"brothers"
of Jesus,
Joseph &
Mary's sons
initially did
not believe
Jesus was the
Son of
God.
Yet, James
emerges as the
Senior elder
as overseer of
the Jerusalem
church.
James anointed
by the Holy
Spirit cites
the Prophet
Amos.
His statement
of consensus
expressed the
decision of
the "apostles,
the elders
and the
brethern in
Jerusalem.

the Holy
Ghost) Scriptural confirmation;

Apostolic
move...
Let’s
get a better
understanding
of today's
apostolic move
in the church… The
sending
actions of God
are to
establish the
Kingdom of
Heaven over
the
whole earth
through
Christ’s
ascension
gifts to the
church of
apostles,
prophets,
evangelists,
pastors,
and teachers.
These gifts of
men set in
order... the
House of the
Lord... to
build on that
which
was entrusted
to the
apostles and
prophets of
the 1st
century
church...
to expand the
Kingdom of God
by bringing
all nations
under Christ’s
reign.
Objective
and
Strategy...
Through the
apostolic
functions of
the church,
the Body
receives
access
to
supernatural
power.
Through this
authority and
power in
action, the
supernatural
design and
works of the
ministry of
the Church
accomplishes
the mission to
establish one
holy universal
church of God
under the
spiritual
Headship of
Christ that
ushers in His
return as the
glory of God
fills the
earth.
Let us watch
the "
progression"
in the
fulfillment of
the word:
Ephesians

The
prophetic
activating
Church:
When
the Apostles
of the Lamb of
the City
Church of
Jerusalem
heard
that a church
had started in

Gentiles) they
sent Barnabas,
a prophet and
teacher full
of the Holy
Ghost
and
faith to find
out what was
happening.
He was a
Levite, and of
the country of
Cyprus
who
knew both the
ways of the
Jews and the
ways of the
Greeks.
After
he ministered
for a short
time in
Antioch, he
went to find
Saul (Paul).
Though
Barnabas was
most likely in
the midst of a
wonderful time
of teaching
and
ministering,
he recognized
his need for
assistance and
went to Tarsus
to find Saul.
Barnabas knew
Paul had
departed from
Damascus to
Tarsus, his
boyhood city
when he,
Paul,
was pressed to
escape after
the uprising
and pursuit to
capture him
and
take him back
to Jerusalem
to be judged
by the ruling
Sanhedrin.
When
they arrived
back in
Antioch, they
taught
together for a
period of
three years
as a
dynamic team
raising up
disciples.
They
had a powerful
prophetic and
teaching
ministry.
Barnabas was
the lead
teacher
and
Saul was his
associate
among others
who taught and
spiritually
equipped the
believers.
Paul
did his
'internship'
under
Barnabas.
Then,
things began
to change...
Acts
11:27-30
AMP And
during these
days prophets
(inspired
teachers and
interpreters
of the divine
will
and purpose)
came down from
Jerusalem to
Antioch. 28 And
one of them
named Agabus
stood up and
prophesied
through the
[Holy] Spirit
that a
great and
severe famine
would come
upon the whole
world.
And
this did occur
during the
reign of
Claudius. 29 So
the disciples
resolved to
send relief,
each according
to his
individual
ability
[in
proportion as
he had
prospered], to
the brethren
who lived in
Judea. 30 And
so they did,

contributions]

Acts 11:30 was
the first
recorded
return of
Barnabas to
Jerusalem.
It was
during this
first visit to
Jerusalem to
take money for
the coming
famine that
Barnabas gave
testimony to
Paul's work
and the
apostles
listened to
Paul give
his
testimony and
revelation of
the Gospel of
Christ.
The
apostles then
extended Paul
the "hand of
fellowship."
In
other words,
he was
received and
became one in
communion and
fellowship in
the
"apostolate"
[the
fellowship of
the 'fore
runner
builders' in
fellowship
with God the
Father,
and Son via
the Holy
Spirit].
And
this divine
'fellowship'
is extended to
each of the
Kingdom...

But if
we [really]
are living and
walking in the
Light, as He
[Himself] is
in the Light,
we have
[true,
unbroken]
fellowship
with one
another, and
the blood of
Jesus Christ
His Son
cleanses
(removes) us

delivering the
offering,
they

to work with

God's plan to
raise up
ministries out
of the
Body of
Christ.
That is
why we are
appointed for
discipleship
to a
fellowship by
the Holy
Spirit.
God had set
things in
motion to
commission
Saul into his
apostolic
calling
and change his
name to Paul. Acts
13:1-3
NKJV Now in
the church
that was at
Antioch there
were certain
prophets and
teachers:
Barnabas,
Simeon who was
called Niger,
Lucius of
Cyrene, Manaen
who had been
brought
up with Herod
the tetrarch,
and Saul. 2 As
they
ministered to
the Lord and
fasted, the
Holy
Spirit said,
"Now
separate to Me
Barnabas and
Saul for the
work to which
I have called
them." 3 Then,
having fasted
and prayed,
and laid hands
on them, they
sent them
away.
There
were
several
prophets and
teachers
headquartered
in Antioch. These
were mature
prophets.
When Scripture
states that
the ["Holy
Spirit said,"]
it does not
mean a mighty
voice
thundered from
heaven.
It implies
that one of
the prophets
heard the
thought and
intent of the
Holy Spirit
and verbally

been proven to

For Paul
especially,
who had had
the Damascus
Road
experience 17
years prior,

transition
from "called

forth with the
revelation of
Christ's
Corporate
Body.
The
commissioning
changed the
apostolic
order of Paul
and Barnabas'
relationship.
Barnabas had
been the
"lead" prophet
and teacher
under which
Paul matured
and learned
the order and
functioning of
apostolic
church
life.
It had been 14
years after
the Lord had
called through
the prophetic
word of
wisdom
delivered by
Ananias before
Saul had
entered into
full ministry.
recall
that Barnabas
had come after
him to invite
him to serve
at Antioch as
part
of the
apostolic team
for 3 years.
Now
Barnabas,
newly
commissioned,
would be
submitted to
Paul's
leadership.
The
church would
grow in
exponential
proportions
through the
revelation of
Christ's
ascension-gifts
of five fold
ministries as
He had
revealed to
Paul.
Apostolic
Teams would be
formed
consisting of
these 5-fold
"fully
functioning
ministries."
As we
fast forward,
looking into
the building
of the church
in its early
days has been
shared
that we may
see other
dimensions in
the working of
Christ in His
Church. Eph
4:13-15

we all come to
the unity of
the faith and
of the
knowledge of
the Son of God,
to a
perfect man,
to the measure
of the stature
of the
fullness of
Christ;

we should no
longer be

tossed to and

As
presented
above, the One
Holy Apostolic
Church was
birthed on the
Day
of
Pentecost.
It will
mature... grow
up in all
things into
Christ.
As we
study the
Scriptures of
the life of
Christ we are
able to see
the apostolic
measure
of the
Church.
The functional
ministry
gifts
(apostles,
prophets,
evangelists,
shepherds,
and
teachers) and
the Gifts
of the Spirit
and the Fruit
of the Spirit
endues and
empowers
the
Body of Christ
to mature to
the fullness
of Christ.
What
the Lord
experienced in
His personal
maturation or
"perfecting"
on earth, the
Church
will
experience if
we are to be "perfected" to
become the
full measure
of His
"stature."
As we
progress
through the
development
stages of the
church, we see
the times and
seasons
of the
perfecting
process over
the centuries.

through its
"David's
Wilderness,
"Joseph's
Prison,"
"Abraham's
IshmaelMinistry,"
and "Israel's
Egyptian
Bondage"
for over a
thousand
years."

Season of
Restoration
The Good News
is that the
Holy Spirit
was sent as
administrator,
to lead and
guide
as well as
bring full
restoration to
Christ's
Church so that
the Universal
Church
could be
commissioned
for

AD 1500.
The Holy
Spirit, having
given Martin
Luther the
revelation and
divine
understanding
of "the just
shall live by
faith," the
church was
made free to
progressively
be fully
restored and
be restoring

things.
This
Reformation
Move of God
broke the
bondage of
controlled

of hope. Even

the past 500
years, the
Church has
experienced
double
periods:
Spiritual
Revivals and
Spiritual

The functions

evangelists,
teachers, and
pastors, have
been
restored.
The function
of the prophet
and the
apostle are
experiencing a
renewed
acceptance
in the church
at
large.
Apostolic
churches and
ministries are
being built
upon valid
Scriptural
doctrine.
We are
experiencing
the season of
the New
Apostolic
Reformation.
The
Resurrection
of Jesus
Christ, the
First-Born
from the dead,
His ascension
and His
enthronement
as King of the
Kingdom of
Heaven
initiated the
New Testament
Church.
The
sending of the
Holy Spirit on
the Day of
Pentecost gave
apostolic
power to the
Church which
will ultimately
establish
the nations
with the Glory
of the Lord to
fill the
earth!

"locusts
eating off of
us" and what

Lord's doing -

"spirit/soul
surgery." To make

challenge,
sometimes it's
BOTH!
What is
this about
"... My great
armywhich I
sent among
you"? You
mean to tell
me that God
sent those
locusts? The
Hebrew words
here are "piel
preterite,"
meaning "which
I sent."
PIEL:
Generally
indicates some
shift in
meaning, such
as "to break"
becomes "to
shatter." PRETERITE:
Generally
indicates
past of
completed
action, but may
also be
translated
as presentor
future actions
which can
somehow be
thought of as
complete.
It's
hard to
explain as we
are dealing
with
spiritual-eternal
concepts within
the limits
of our
physicaltime-based
reality.
But what is
basically
being said is
that He took
drastic
measures to
shift and/or
reposture us,
by
removing
something from
us, so that He
might
add
something even
greater
to us.

perhaps the
big SHIFT
everyone was
referring to this
past year?
That is
what we have
to hold onto
as well, as we
transition from
the prison to
the palace,
so to
speak. He is
graciously
bringing us to a
keener place
of
discernment,
aligning us

HIS wisdom and

Thank
God for the
sayings of
Ecclesiastes
that tell us
there are
times and
seasons
and they last
for a bit and
then change.
For if that be
true, and of
course it is,
then we sure

season to look
forward to -
because the
past one has
been
pretty
challenging to
say the least!
We look
forward to the
coming relief
as we call on
Him, not
losing Hope
and not
letting
up on
Faith.
We take a
deep, deep
breath, gird
up our loins,
and having
done all -
we
stand. It's
what we must
do to do our
part.
When
the army went
to battle and
they sent the
singers ahead
with "the
Lord is good
and His
mercy endures
forever," I can
imagine they
took a deep
breath, closed
their eyes,
and
shouted at the
top of their
lungs,
trembling with
uncertainty as
to what was
about to
happen. They
moved in
faith, putting
their trust in
His Word that
was being
released
from
their own
mouths into
the atmosphere
-
even
doing their
part to shift
what was in
the air up to
that moment.
May we
have the
wisdom and
courage to do
the same, with
heads held
high
in the
hope of our
calling
as the
manifest sons
of God, who
are about to
do some
serious
damage to the
enemy because
of the One who
lives in us -

in us, the
hope of
glory!

It is
important for
us to
understand
that the
'prophetic
ministry to
the body at
large
is not
necessarily
destined for
fulfillment in
the same exact
year.
Most
generally,
words of
wisdom and
words of
knowledge are
not given
specific
dates.
God has shown
us through His
holy writ that
He works
through times
and seasons.
We have
demonstrated
this divine
principle in
scriptures
cited and in
example of
the ministries
of Paul and
Barnabas.
Callings,
appointments
and
commissions
are to be
walked... they
are
progressive in
that we
develop our
spiritual
wisdom
and
understanding
over time and
through
experience
with the Word
of God
and in our
relationship
with the Holy

stirring my
spirit through
about HOPE.
Hope is divine
grace, the
demonstrative
signs and
wonders that
release free
grace
experienced in
power
evangelism.
Ephesians

might clearly
demonstrate
through the
ages to come
the
immeasurable
(limitless,
surpassing)
riches of His
free grace
(His unmerited
favor)
in
[His] kindness
and goodness
of heart
toward us in
Christ Jesus."
Romans

hope being
gone, hoped in
faith
that he
should become
the father of
many nations,
as he had been
promised due
to the
power of
divine grace
operating in

Surprisingly

most Western
cultures...
Hope is not
optimism,
it is not
looking on the
bright side, it is
not wishful
thinking.

Hope in our
Western
culture
contains a
"hunk" of
resignation!...
passive
acceptance
that whatever
happens is
unavoidable.
People
are out of
jobs
today!
They are going
about
everywhere to
apply for a
new one.
Ask
almost anyone
of them if
they will get
the job for
which they
just
interviewed
and
more
times than
not, you will
hear a reply
such as "I hope
so! I
would like the
job,
but I
have my doubts
that I will
get it.""I
probably have
50% chance to
get it,
but all
I can do is
hope."
In this
scenario,
hope is
based upon
resignation
and some
forlorn wish to be
fortunate.
Another
way to express
this "hope"
is
having a
demeanor to
passively
comply
without
protest.
However
privately one
has given up
on the inside,
"hope' is used
as a
face
saver.
Inside one's
heart , there
is little
faith on which
to hope.
Let us
dig into God's
will for his
people.
In the
Jewish
tradition, Hope is
something
completely
different.
Jesus
is a Jew, he
came as the
Jewish
Messiah.
Being
such we shall
see two
aspects of
Jewish
tradition:
1.
God's
purposeful
plan of
redemption.
2.
Actions and a
rebellious
Israel's
manner of
"tradition to
exercise the
law of Moses."
Proclamation
to
Natural Israel
of the old
Testament: Zechariah (9:9) …Four hundred years before the virgin
birth:
”Rejoice
greatly, O
Daughter of
Zion!
Shout aloud, O
Daughter of
Jerusalem!
Behold,
your King
comes to you;
he is
[uncompromisingly]
just and having
salvation

ultimate
expression
of Christ’s
Kingdom is the
resurrection
of the
dead!
The Hope of
Messiah’s Kingdom
was the Hope
of the
resurrection of
the body
and
eternal
life!
Christ’s death
and
resurrection
brought to
light the
Father,
the
Kingdom of
Heaven, Life
in the Spirit
and
immortality!
At
Rome, Paul
called
together the
leading men of
the Jews and
declared to
them,
“For I
am wearing
this chain for
the sake of
the Hope of
Israel…”
They
set a day and
a large number
gathered to
hear him.
Luke
tells us that he
was
“explaining…and
solemnly
testifying
about the
Kingdom of
God and
trying to
persuade them
concerning
Jesus, from
both the Law
of Moses
and the
Prophets…”
(Acts 28: 20,
and 23) The
point is that
Paul was
proclaiming
the Hope of
Israel!
Paul
himself
declares that
he was
arrested,
placed in
chains, tried
by the
Sanhedrin,
Felix,
Agrippa and
Caesar for the
Hope of
the
Resurrection.
Paul,
'special
messenger,'
'the fore
runner,' the
apostle, was
not
proclaiming a
postponed,
future,
earthly,
Jewish
Kingdom!
He was
preaching
Jesus Christ
is Lord and
King and in His
Name, the Son
of God
of
which all that
was the
Father's was
given to Him
is forgiveness
of sins,
salvation,
the new
birth, eternal
life and
the Hope
of the
Resurrection.
