The Good News is that the Light of
Truth shall prevail
and empower those who
are Thirsty and Hungry!!
Are you seeking the riches of
Authentic Apostolic Christianity?
Are you living in a vacuum, void of the
empowerment of signs,
wonders and miracles?
What you chose to believe will shape
your life in physical realm and
spiritual
realm experiential
realities andvalues
that the New Covenant provides!
When we guard our faith and do not allow
it to be placed in a straight jacket
and we do not allow
others to influence us into limiting
God...
We find ourselves seated
solidly in Christ Jesus as the
Holy Spirit guides
and leads us into Truth!
Consider the following
modes of acceptance of the Word of
God... ► A biased
rule or application produces a faulty
theology and alters the perception
of Bible
truth. If one approaches the Bible with an
anti-supernatural belief system,
such will
automatically eliminate the supernatural
elements of the bible, including
prophecy.
There are those who carry this approach to
'believing' the Word of God
and His recorded
miracles are not miracles at all, but, are
argued that they are merely
symbolic
stories. This liberal attitude has
claimed many unfortunate disciples today. ► Another
approach is used by some evangelical,
ostensibly, 'Bible-believing Christians:
They freely
accept the miracles and spiritual
happenings of Bible days but say such
events are not meant for today. This
approach to truth is still an
anti-supernatural
mind
frame, merely in a different guise.
The advocates of this view reject any
possibility that the miraculous examples
and teachings might find literal
application
or
expression in our day of the 21st
century. ►Then there
are those who practice 'cessation.'
This is the belief that prophecy
and
other spiritual gifts no longer exist and
are no longer needed. This view purports
that
prophecy and other miraculous gifts ceased
functioning once the New Testament
was
compiled.
The demise of prophecy
was simply part of the disappearance
of all spiritual gifts from
the church in the post-apostolic age! The Bible is a Letter of Hope,
Faith and Love to reveal
the Godheadand
God's plan for mankind to have fellowship
with Him in the Person's of the
Trinity!
We see this relationship
with mankind as God 'walks' daily in the
Garden of Eden
and converses with the
perfect man and woman Whom the Godhead had
formed
from the dust and
breathed the life of God's Spirit
within them. Gen
3:8-13 AMP
8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God
walking in the garden in the cool
of the day, and Adam and his wife hid
themselves from the presence of the Lord
God among the trees of the garden.
9 But the Lord
God called to Adam and said to him, Where
are you?
10 He said, I heard the
sound of You [walking] in the garden, and
I was afraid
because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And He said,
Who told you that you were naked? Have you
eaten of the tree
of which I commanded you that you should
not eat?
12 And the man
said, The woman whom You gave to be with
me--she gave me
[fruit] from the tree, and I ate.
13 And the Lord
God said to the woman, What is this you
have done?
And the woman said,
The
serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and
deceived) me, and I ate.
The focus of this
study is to examine what the TRUTH is about
God's Kingdom
and what He has
provided for the Church.
Not everyone will enter into the plan of
God which is revealed in God's Literary
Letter of the Old and
New Testament of 1188
chapters telling us
of His will,
purposes, ways and
actions for all things.
God
is in the center of all things!
He
reveals Himself, His omnipresence
(present
everywhere), His
omnipotence
(absolute
power and
authority) and
His
omniscience
(knowing
everything). see web page

His Living Letter, the Holy Bible is
written as a book of conquest and victory!
God by the inspiration of
the Holy Ghost upon men, penned His messages
to us.
For too long,
Christians have been characterized by
despair, defeat and retreat!
For too long,Christians have heeded the false
doctrine which teaches that we are
doomed to failure.
For too long,Christians have been taught that they
cannot win... that,
until
Jesus
returns,
Christians
will
steadily
lose
ground
to
the Devil.
For too long, Christians have been told that the
church is sliding into apostasy.
For too long, Christian leaders (not all) but "most evangels" sadly inform us
that we
are
living
in
a
"Laodicean
age"
of
the
Church
spoken of in
Revelation 3:14-22 (which is false
teaching).
For too long, Any new outbreak of war, any rise in
crime statistics, any new evidence
of
the
breakdown
of
family,
is
oddly
often
viewed as progress...
JESUS IS COMING! is the cry!
For too long, This kind
of interpretation of the Word of God is
Heresy!
For
too long, Bad news of physical and
social extremes is regarded as a step
forward toward the expected goal of a
total collapse of civilization.
For
too long, These teachings and
expectations have been a "sign" that
Jesus
might come in a twinkling of an eye to
rescue the poor little weak,
beaten down fear-filled church!
For
too long, Christians have looked
on social action projects with
skepticism...
"Anything that does
not fit into the great scheme of being
always
ready and mindful to be "raptured out,"
cannot be of God."
For too long, The Bible has
been taught...
that within it lies the escapism of
dispensationalism:
"Christian's
efforts are overall bound to
futility." "You don't polish the
brass
on
a
sinking
ship."
"Why
payoff your debts." Jesus is Coming!"
These kinds of beliefs
are exposed within the following
premises:
1.
The
world
is
nothing
more
than
a
"sinking
ship."
2. Any organized program of
Christian reconstruction is nothing
more than "polishing brass."
For
too long, Evangelism has been considered
as an invitation to join the losing
side!
For too
long, The Church has preached and taught
the heresies of John Nelson Darby.
His
work
and
the
work
of
those
who
bought
into his theology have spread
the "virus" of hell
very effectually.
The
fruit
of
his
work
can
be
summarized
as
such: "A
false view of spirituality." "It is a non-biblical idea of
"spirituality"... that a truly
"spiritual" man is the
person who is sort of "non-physical,"
who doesn't get involved in "earthly"
things, who doesn't work very much or
very hard except for self-centered
goals. One who spends most of his
time meditating about how he would
rather be in heaven because everyone
should understand that he already
has his 'ticket" to ride out of the
madness of mother earth. And one
who
thinks that as long as he is on the
planet earth, he has one main duty in
life:
"Get stepped on for Jesus."
Doctrines
of
men
have
long
taught
that
Bible's
core focus should be that
Christians
are
unworthy!
Maybe
if
we
are
"lucky"
we might make it out of
this realm and not be thrown into the
"lake of fire!"
Now, in all fairness,
no Christian believes in ultimate
defeat. Most Christians know that
God will be
victorious over the devil at the end of
history. Christians will recite
that they
have "peeked" at the
last chapter and "we win." But
this is the point I wish to make on
behalf of true
apostolic doctrine, we must have the
Truth about what happens in the end!
Popular End-Time
Teachers place victory only in the LAST
CHAPTER.
Until then, in time,
in history,
on earth,
the Christian
loses! Their doctrine is thus
one
one of postponement!
Unfortunately, there is
something extremely, ironically wrong
with this scenario!
The unintentional message
of the "gospel" is: The
Antichrist is coming!
There is something terribly
lopsided about all this when it is quite
clear that the "spirit
of antichrist" has been
loosed on earth since the day Adam and
Eve were deceived.
In our future web pages
and in our Prophetic Insight documents,
we will dive into that
which is in right
standing with God. He is not the
God of defeatism.
Father God of the
Son, Jesus Christ gives not a spirit
of fear but gives
a spirit of
power, a
spirit of
love and a sound mind. 1
Timothy 1:7
The Bible teaches that God
has given us the Mandate of Dominion
and, thus,
we have a Mandate of
Victory! This is not some kind of
"everything
will work out
somehow theology."
It is a solid, confident ,
Bible Truth of assurance, the Gospel
will be victorious
throughout the entire
world!
Consider the following Biblical account of
Apostolic Kingdom Teaching. Matthew
13:24-30 AMP
24
Another parable He set forth before them,
saying, The kingdom of heaven is like
a man whosowed
good seed in his field.
25
But while he was sleeping, his enemy came
and sowed also darnel
(weeds resemblingwheat)
among the wheat, and went on his way.
26
So when the plants sprouted and formed
grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also.
27
And the servants of the owner came to him
and said, Sir, did you not sow good
seed in your
field? Then how does it have darnel
shoots in it?
28
He replied to them, An enemy has done
this. The servants said to him,
Then
do you want us to go and weed them out?
29
But he said, No, lest in gathering the
wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat),
you root up the
[true] wheat along with it.
30
Let them grow together until the harvest;
and at harvest time I will say to the
reapers,
Gather
the darnel first and bind it in bundles to
be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.
May you ask
yourself the following questions?
Do you see
that the unrighteous and the righteous
are both in the same field? Do you see
that the righteous are not harvested
and removed (raptured) from the
field for three and
a half years and then returned to the
field? Do you
understand what happens in the growth
of different kinds of plants?
Their roots are
occupying the same earth... however,
they individually draw upon
different elements
for existence. If you remove a
plant, you destroy the roots
of those around
them.
They are separate,
yet relational.
All things are
common to each of them such as
temperature, water, space, sunshine
and darkness.
The
difference is found in
what they feed upon and their
nature. Do you
"see" this comparison is symbolic to
the spiritual growth in lives of
humans?
Weeds are rampart
growers and usually destroy the soil
as well as display protrusive
structures such as
thorns, bristles, ragged edges,
poisonous secretions and the like.
Good
plants
produce
productive
and
useful
substances.
They provide the
necessary qualities to sustain life.
They bring prosperity
in their season and are desirable to
harvest.
They are positive
contributors to life. If a plant is
prematurely up rooted in its season,
it will not yield
fruit for which it was destined to
produce. Does this
parable of Matthew
13:24-30 support a
"double rapture" in the Lord Jesus
Christ's
teaching?Definitely not! He speaks of
only one harvest!
He speaks of only
a one time removal of the righteous from
the unrighteous!
God has a positive and
everlasting plan for His church! It
is one of Victory! Do you find
Christ indecisive and without power to
sustain his Church in the earth? Matthew
16:18-19 NKJV
I
will
build
My
church,
and
the
gates
of
Hell shall not prevail against it.
1 Cor 15:22-25 AMP
22
For
just
as
[because
of
their union of nature] in Adam all
people die, so also
[by virtue of their
union of nature] shall all in Christ be
made alive.
23 But each in his
own rank and turn: Christ (the Messiah)
[is] the firstfruits, then
those who are
Christ's [own will be resurrected] at
His coming.
24 After that comes
the end (the completion), when He
delivers over the kingdom
to God the Father
after rendering inoperative and
abolishing every [other] rule and
every authority and
power.
25 For [Christ] must
be King and reign until He has put all
[His] enemies under His feet.
Our King, Jesus, is Lord! He is
King Today! He reigns Today!
His Kingship has not been
postponed nor has His Authority and
Power been withheld from
Him! He reigns from David's
throne! Philippians
2:9-11
NKJV
9
Therefore
God
also
has
highly
exalted
Him
and
given Him the name which is above
everyname,10
that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of those in heaven,
and of those on
earth, and of those under the earth,11
and that every tongue should
confess that JesusChrist
is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The Good
News is that Truth shall prevail and
empower those
who are teachable, to
be loosed! John 8:31-32 NKJV
"And you shall know the truth, and
the truth shall make you free."
===============================
All Caesars
defined themselves as "god." Nero was
ESPECIALLY BRUTAL
and placed blame for
burning Rome upon the Christians who denied
him as god and held to
their profession... Jesus as their God and
King!
Nero was born in 37 A.D.,
as Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus, the son
of Gnaeus Domitius
Ahenobarbus and Agrippina, who was the
great-
granddaughter of the
emperor Augustus.
Nero was educated in the
classical tradition by the philosopher
Seneca
and studied Greek,
philosophy and rhetoric.
After his father,
Ahenobarbus died in 48 A.D., Agrippina
married her uncle,
the emperor Claudius. She
persuaded him to name Nero as his successor
rather than his own son,
Britannicus, and to offer his daughter,
Octavia,
as Nero’s wife, which he
did in 50 A.D. Claudius died in 54 A.D., and
it is
widely suspected that
Agrippina had him poisoned.
Nero presented himself to
the Senate to deliver an eulogy in
Claudius’s
honor and was named
Emperor of Rome.
He took the name Nero
Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus,
and ascended to the
throne at the age of 17.
Look at the method and
purpose by which Nero selected his
elitist name. Augustus
(Latin: Imperātor Caesar Dīvī Fīlius
Augustus;
born 23 September 63 BC
died 19 August 14 AD) was the founder of the
Roman Empire and its
first Emperor, ruling from 27 BC until his
death
in 14 AD. On 16 January
27 BC the Senate gave Octavian the new
titles
of Augustus and Princeps.
Augustus, from the Latin word Augere
(meaning
to increase), can be
translated as "the illustrious one". It was
a title
of religious rather than
political authority.
According to Roman religious
beliefs, the title symbolized a stamp of
authority
over humanity—and in fact
nature—that went beyond any constitutional
definition
of his status. After the
harsh methods employed in consolidating his
control,
the change in name would
also serve to demarcate his benign reign as
Augustus
from his reign of terror
as Octavian.
Germanicus Julius Caesar
(24 May 15 BC – 10 October AD 19), commonly
known as Germanicus,was a
member of the Julio-Claudian dynasty and
a prominent general of
the early Roman Empire.
He was born in Rome,
Italia, and was originally named either Nero
Claudius Drusus
after his father or
Tiberius Claudius Nero after his uncle. He
was the grandson-in-law
and great-nephew of the
Emperor Augustus, nephew and adoptive son of
the
Emperor Tiberius, father
of the Emperor Caligula, brother of the
Emperor Claudius,
and the maternal
grandfather of the Emperor Nero.
He received the agnomen
Germanicus in 9 BC, when it was posthumously
awarded
to his father in honour
of his victories in Germania.
As Roman emperor, Nero
spent lavishly and behaved as a DEMONIC
TYRANT.
He rebuffed his mother’s
attempts to control him, and had her killed.
Nero is said to have
"fiddled while Rome burned."
By 64 A.D., the
scandalous nature of Nero’s artistic antics
may have begun
to cause controversy, but
the public’s attention was diverted by the
Great Fire of Rome.
The blaze began in stores
at the southeastern end of the Circus
Maximus and
ravaged Rome for 10 days,
decimating 75 percent of the city. Although
accidental
fires were common at the
time, many Romans believed Nero started the
fire to make
room for his planned
villa, the Domus Aurea. Whether or not Nero
started the fire,
he determined that a
guilty party must be found, and he pointed
the finger at the
Christians, still a new
and underground religion. Persecution and
torture of the
Christians began in Rome
in 64 A.D.
In the year 66 AD the
Jews of Judea rebelled against their Roman
masters.
In response, the Emperor
Nero dispatched an army under the
generalship
of Vespasian to restore
order. By the year 68, resistance in the
northern
part of the province had
been eradicated and the Romans turned their
full
attention to conquering
Jerusalem. That same year, the Emperor Nero
died by his own hand,
creating a power vacuum in Rome. In the
resultant
chaos, Vespasian was
declared Emperor and returned to the
Imperial City.
It fell to his son,
Titus, to lead the remaining army in the
assault on Jerusalem.
The Roman legions
surrounded the city and began to slowly
squeeze
the life out of the
Jewish stronghold. By the year 70, the
attackers had
breached Jerusalem's
outer walls and began a systematic
ransacking
of the city. The assault
culminated in the burning and destruction of
the
Temple that served as the
center of Judaism.
The Romans Destroyed the
Temple at Jerusalem, 70 AD.
Peter, Paul and John all
suffered persecution at nearly the same
time under Nero to
satisfy his evilly horrific cruelty.
Peter was crucified head
downward.
Paul was beheaded. John
was banned to the quarries
John was born in 6 A.D.
The Book of John is proposed written by
50–55 A.D.
and with the Revelation in 65
A.D. due to narrative similarities with
Paul.
Keeping in mind of Paul and
Peter were executed by Nero...
Nero's given name was Lucius Domitius
Ahenobarbus.
Many scholars
It is more likely that John was boiled in
oil and banned to the Isle
of Patmos “An island off the West coast of
Asia Minor . . .
an islet in the Mediterranean”
In the resultant chaos, Vespasian was
declared Emperor and
returned to the Imperial City.
It fell to his son, Titus, to lead the
remaining army in the assault
on Jerusalem.
The Roman legions surrounded the city and
began to slowly squeeze
the life out of the Jewish stronghold.
By the year AD. 70, the attackers had
breached Jerusalem's outer walls
and began a systematic ransacking of the
city.
The assault culminated in the burning and
destruction of the Temple
that served as the center of Judaism.
In victory, the Romans slaughtered
thousands. Of those sparred
from death: thousands more were enslaved and
sent to toil in the
mines of Egypt, others were dispersed to
arenas throughout
the Empire to be butchered for the amusement
of the public.
The Temple's sacred relics were taken to
Rome where they were
displayed in celebration of the victory.
The rebellion sputtered on for another three
years and was finally
extinguished in AD. 73 with the fall of the
various pockets of resistance
including the stronghold at Masada.
"...the Jews let out a shout of dismay that
matched the tragedy."
Our only first-hand account of the Roman
assault on the Temple comes
from the Jewish historian Josephus Flavius.
Josephus was a former leader
of the Jewish Revolt who had surrendered to
the Romans and had won favor
from Vespasian. In gratitude, Josephus took
on Vespasian's family name -
Flavius - as his own. We join his account as
the Romans fight their way into
the inner sanctum of the Temple:
"...the rebels shortly after attacked the
Romans again, and a clash
followed between the guards of the sanctuary
and the troops who
were putting out the fire inside the inner
court; the latter routed the Jews
and followed in hot pursuit right up to the
Temple itself. Then one of the
soldiers, without awaiting any orders and
with no dread of so momentous
a deed, but urged on by some supernatural
force, snatched a blazing piece
of wood and, climbing on another soldier's
back, hurled the flaming brand
through a low golden window that gave
access, on the north side, to the
rooms that surrounded the sanctuary. As the
flames shot up, the Jews
let out a shout of dismay that matched the
tragedy; they flocked to the
rescue, with no thought of sparing their
lives or husbanding their strength;
for the sacred structure that they had
constantly guarded with such devotion
was vanishing before their very eyes.
...No exhortation or threat could now
restrain the impetuosity of the legions;
for passion was in supreme command. Crowded
together around the
entrances, many were trampled down by their
companions; others, stumbling
on the smoldering and smoked-filled ruins of
the porticoes, died as miserably
as the defeated. As they drew closer to the
Temple, they pretended not even
to hear Caesar's orders, but urged the men
in front to throw in more firebrands.
The rebels were powerless to help; carnage
and flight spread throughout.
Most of the slain were peaceful citizens,
weak and unarmed, and they were butchered
where they were caught. The heap of corpses
mounted higher
and higher about the altar; a stream of
blood flowed down the Temple's steps,
and the bodies of those slain at the top
slipped to the bottom.
When Caesar failed to restrain the fury of
his frenzied soldiers, and the fire
could not be checked, he entered the
building with his generals and looked
at the holy place of the sanctuary and all
its furnishings, which exceeded
by far the accounts current in foreign lands
and fully justified their splendid
repute in our own.
As the flames had not yet penetrated to the
inner sanctum, but were
consuming the chambers that surrounded the
sanctuary, Titus assumed
correctly that there was still time to save
the structure; he ran out and
by personal appeals he endeavored to
persuade his men to put out the fire,
instructing Liberalius, a centurion of his
bodyguard of lancers, to club
any of the men who disobeyed his orders. But
their respect for Caesar
and their fear of the centurion's staff who
was trying to check them were
overpowered by their rage, their detestation
of the Jews, and an utterly
uncontrolled lust for battle.
Most of them were spurred on, moreover, by
the expectation of loot,
convinced that the interior was full of
money and dazzled by observing
that everything around them was made of
gold. But they were forestalled by
one of those who had entered into the
building, and who, when Caesar
dashed out to restrain the troops, pushed a
firebrand, in the darkness,
into the hinges of the gate Then, when the
flames suddenly shot up from
the interior, Caesar and his generals
withdrew, and no one was left
to prevent those outside from kindling the
blaze.
Thus, in defiance of Caesar's wishes, the
Temple was set on fire.
While the Temple was ablaze, the attackers
plundered it, and countless
people who were caught by them were
slaughtered. There was no pity
for age and no regard was accorded rank;
children and old men, laymen
and priests, alike were butchered; every
class was pursued and crushed
in the grip of war, whether they cried out
for mercy or offered resistance.
Through the roar of the flames streaming far
and wide, the groans
of the falling victims were heard; such was
the height of the hill and the
magnitude of the blazing pile that the
entire city seemed to be ablaze;
and the noise - nothing more deafening and
frightening could be imagined.
There were the war cries of the Roman
legions as they swept onward
en masse, the yells of the rebels encircled
by fire and sword, the panic
of the people who, cut off above, fled into
the arms of the enemy, and
their shrieks as they met their fate. The
cries on the hill blended with
those of the multitudes in the city below;
and now many people who
were exhausted and tongue-tied as a result
of hunger, when they beheld
the Temple on fire, found strength once more
to lament and wail. Peraea
and the surrounding hills, added their
echoes to the deafening din.
But more horrifying than the din were the
sufferings.
The Temple Mount, everywhere enveloped in
flames, seemed to be boiling
over from its base; yet the blood seemed
more abundant than the flames
and the numbers of the slain greater than
those of the slayers.
The soldiers climbed over heaps of bodies as
they chased the fugitives."

Revelation Does Not give
a time frame or an outline to world history
with reference to the
21st century generation! It records past
events
and Not News paper and TV
news reports that are NOT relevant to the
Revelation of Christ!
John was instructed to write
what he was told and saw!
"Told" and "saw' are past
tense verbs!
They are Not future
tense!!
Never-the-less, men and
women calling themselves prophets "package"
the Word of God
presenting it in a narrative whereby daily
worldly events
"define" the scriptures.
Conversely, Revelation
shows Christ is in control of all world
history and
the purpose of the
Revelation of Christ demonstrates to the
believer how
we are to live, pray and
worship! In John's record of His heavenly
encounter,
he portrays Vivid
Powerful Imagery (figurative language).
He wrote in the same
manner of the Old testament prophets.
(note: Research the accounts of John the
Beloved, and
Flavius Josephus writings. Josephus is
a vital source for
the history of the Inter-testament

of worship."
When Jerusalem fell under the siege of

Those who will do
research will quickly learn that John
Nelson Darby is noted
in the "theological society" as
the father of "dispensationalism.",
(Theo = God; Logos=
word study)
The term "dispensationalism" refers to the
theological system employed by Plymouth
Brethrenfounder,
John Nelson Darby (Nov. 18, 1800 — April
29, 1882).
While historical
accounts reveal that John Darby
was not the very first person
1. to conceive of
the false pre-tribulation rapturedoctrine
and
2. to promote the
false doctrine of "two distinct peoples"
(Jews and Gentiles)
of whom God deals differently between in
His order in the New Creation.

"officially" and "sub-sequentially"
started, He would rule upon the
earth.
This belief was
"near at hand as a belief" of the
Montanist Movement which had
its beginning in
the latter part of the 2nd century!
The Movement took
its name from its founder, Montanus.
This movement
took place in an obscure mountainous area
of Phrygia in Asia Minor.
The towns of
Antioch in Pisidia (Acts 13:14), Colosse,
Hierapolis, Iconium, and
Laodicea
were situated in it. It is recorded
as a "spirited" movement in that it drew
many people
in its sincere enthusiasm and claims to
the supernatural.
By the end of the
second century, it had reached
Africa.
The movement was
a reformation movement as well.
Montanists were orthodoxy
in agreeing to
the essential points with the early
Catholic Church. However, they
were considered
primarily as
a prophetic movement that raised their
voices against
the worldly
church and unspiritual
leadership.
Initially,
the movement was not a departure from the
'Faith" but stressed
emphasis on morality
and puritanism.
It later became
marked by 'the orthodox elite" as (1)
excessive supernaturalism,
(2) puritanism
against Gnostic rationalism and (3)
catholic laxity.
(note:
these 3 dynamics are those of which
Montanists were accused...
The Gift of the Spirit... Discernment
of spirits empowers us to see
how the practice of
evil is detected. Accusers reveal
the heart and mind
of their planned
actions. That which they accuse are
the very components
of what they are. In this we see the
"orthodox elite leadership" foundations
for structuring their
religious belief systems and practices.
The influential
movement eventually spread to all corners
of the Greco-Roman
world
bringing significant pressure on the
Catholic Church. Eventually, counter
actions of
the powerful
religious
piety of the then highly controlled and
institutionalized
church
brought great persecution against those
who participated in the
Montanist
Movement.
NOW, let's study the
heresies of John Nelson Darby, also a
founder of a 'movement.'
The ideology
initiated from the John Nelson Darby was
the first to indoctrinate
fundamentalist churches in
the United States with dispensational
hermeneutics.
The
indoctrination was largely accomplished
via C. I. Scofield, who incorporated
John Darby's doctrines
into his selectively footnoted
Old Scofield Study Bible—
copyright 1909 and
1917.
John Nelson Darby
marked his bible translation and
theological writings with occult
or New Age vocabulary
and doctrines. Charles Henry
Mackintosh, 1820–1896,
with his popular
expository style also spread Darby's
teachings and may be
regarded
as the journalist of
the Brethren Movement. In addition,
C.H. Mackintosh popularized
Darby's theories and books
more than any other Brethren author. (Just do a Google
or Yahoo search on John Nelson Darby!)
There
was no Christian teaching of a “rapture”
before Darby began preaching about
it in the 1830s, (180 years
ago).
He is credited with
originating the "secret rapture" theory
wherein Christ is to suddenly
remove His Bride, the
Church, from this world before the
judgments of the tribulation.
Dispensational
beliefs
about
the
fate
of
the
Jews
and
the re-establishment of the
Kingdom of Israel put
dispensationalists at the forefront of
Christian Zionism,
because "God is able to
graft them in again," and they
believe that in His grace
He will do so according
to their understanding of Old Testament prophecy.
1. They believe that,
while the ways of God may change, His
purposes to bless Israel
will never be forgotten.
2. They also believe
that just as God has shown unmerited favor
to the Church,
He will do so to a "remnant of Israel" to fulfill
all the promises made to the genetic
seed of Abraham. These premises were
refined and propagated by John N.
Darby.
(They are WRONG! The New Covenant changed
'natural Israel" to "spiritual Israel"
of which the grafting is done through and
in the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ,
the
Begotten Son of God.)
Consider: 1 Thess. 1:10
King James: "even Jesus, which
delivered us from the wrath to come."
Christians
Who walk after the Spirit (and thus have
assurance of security in Christ) are
already delivered from the
wrath (hell) to come in the eternal after
physical death.
This scripture does not point
to an End of the World Great Tribulation.
Darby
in
his
Pre-tribulation
premillennial
doctrine
inserts
fear into
scripture:
He wanted Christians to think the
"coming wrath" meant the Tribulation or
Great Tribulation.To
support his theories (heresies), he
perverted the scriptures. He changed them so very
slightly. But he changed them! 1.
Rapture doctrine
is one of the most
recent "new
doctrines" in the
history
of the Church. The
only doctrine more
recent is the
invention of the
sinner's prayer
for salvation by
Billy Sunday in
1930. Billy
Graham
popularized it in 1935.
2.
The fact that John Nelson Darby invented the
pre-tribulation rapture doctrine
around 1830 AD is unquestionably true. All
attempts to find evidence of this wild
doctrine before 1830 have failed, with a
single exception:
Morgan Edwards wrote a short essay as a
college paper for Bristol Baptist
College in Bristol England in 1744 where he
confused the second coming with
the first resurrection of Revelation 20 and
described a "pre-tribulation" rapture.
However Edward 's ideas, which he admitted
were brand new and never before
taught, had no influence in the modern
population of the false doctrine.
That "prize" goes to Darby.
3. Prior to 1830, no
church taught it in their creed, catechism or
statement of faith.
4. Darby has had a profound
impact on religion today, since Darby's
"secret rapture"
false doctrine has infected most conservative,
evangelical churches.
While the official creeds and statements of
faith of many churches either reject
or
are silent about Rapture, neither do they
openly condemn this doctrine of a
demon from the pulpit.
5. While not all
dispensationalists believe in the Rapture. All
those who teach
the
Rapture also believe in premillennialism. Both
groups use Israel's modern
statehood status of 1948 to be a beginning of
a countdown to the end.
6. All premillennialists,
rapturists and dispensationalists alive today
believe
the
Bible reveals the general era of when Christ
will return. The date setters
of
the 1800's (Seventh-day Adventists, Jehovah's
Witnesses) based their
predictions upon speculative arrangements of
numbers and chronologies in the Bible.
Today's
date setters without exception wrongly believe
that Israel gaining state hood
in
1948 fulfilled Bible prophecy and that Christ
would return within one generation.
7. There are two kinds of
premillennialists: Those who are "Date
setters"
and those
who are "Date Teasers". "Date setters",
set specific dates which
are in
fact a countdown clock to the extinction of
their own ministries.
(William
Miller, Charles Russell, Ronald Weinland,
Harold Camping, etc.)
"Date teasers",
share the same rhetoric of urgency that the
"end is very soon",
but
refuse to lock into a specific date. (Jack Van
Impe, Hal Lindsay, Tim LaHaye,
In general, most
Pentecostals, Jesus Only advocates, Baptists,
Grant Jefferies,
and
Christadelphians are 'date teasers'; the
persistent cry is "the Lord is Coming."
8. Most of the TV preachers who
promote rapture and/or "date set" wrongly
believe
they are
a prophet of God with special
illumination.
History
continues to prove their heresies.
Both John Darnby and
Charles Darwin were very active in church
leadership and activities.
They were both well known
for their writings in both the secular world
and the religious
communities.
Darby is noted in the
theological world as the father of
"dispensationalism", later
made popular in the United
States by Cyrus Scofield's Scofield Reference
Bible.
Charles Henry Mackintosh,
1820–1896, with his popular style spread
Darby's teachings
to humbler elements in society
and may be regarded as the journalist of the
Brethren
Movement. Mackintosh
popularized Darby, although not his
hyperdispensational
approach, more than any
other Brethren author.
In the
early twentieth century, the Brethren's
teachings, through Margaret E. Barber,
influenced the
Little Flock of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
He made at least 5 missionary journeys
to North America between 1862 and 1877.
He worked mostly in New England, Ontario, and
the Great Lakes region, but took one extended
journey
from Toronto to Sydney by way of San
Francisco, Hawaii, and New Zealand.
Darby is credited with originating the
"rapture" theory wherein Christ will suddenly
remove His bride,
the Church, from this world before the
judgments of the tribulation. Some claim that
this
"the Rapture of the Saints" [date?] was the
origin of the idea of the "rapture."
Dispensationalist beliefs
about the fate of the Jews and the
re-establishment of the Kingdom of Israel put
dispensationalists
at the forefront of Christian Zionism, because
"God is able to graft them in again," and they
believe
that in His grace he will do so according to
their understanding of Old Testament prophecy.
They believe that, while the ways of God may
change, His purposes to bless Israel will
never be forgotten,
just as He has shown unmerited favour to the
Church, He will do so to a remnant of Israel
to fulfill all the
promises made to the genetic seed of Abraham.
Charles Haddon Spurgeon, Pastor of the
Metropolitan Tabernacle and contemporary of
Darby,
published criticism of Darby and
Brethrenism.[15] His main criticism was that
Darby and
the Plymouth Brethren rejected the vicarious
purpose of Christ's obedience as well as
imputed
righteousness. He viewed these of such
importance and so central to the gospel that
it led him
to this statement about the rest of their
belief.
James Grant wrote: "With the deadly heresies
entertained and taught by the Plymouth
Brethren,
in relation to some of the most momentous of
all the doctrines of the gospel, and to which
I have
adverted at some length, I feel assured that
my readers will not be surprised at any other
views,
however unscriptual and pernicious they may
be, which the Darbyites have embraced and
zealously seek to propagate"
Darby Changed the very nature of
interpretation of the Truth of the Bible
through Dispensation and Futurism
preaching, writings with heretical theology
and propagation byhis extended journeys to
many nations.
Charles Darwin dispelled the "Truth of God the
Creator" with his "On the Origin of the
Species" and
propagation of "Evolution." Both Darwin and
Darby fully impacted the earth with their
Heresies in the same century
and same tenure of lifespan.
Darby- (18 November 1800 – 29 April 1882)
Darwin- (12 February 1809 – 19 April
1882)
Darwin made a creed of the "men from monkeys"
idea!
The Church of England's response was mixed.
Darwin's old Cambridge tutors Sedgwick and
Henslow
dismissed the ideas, but liberal clergymen
interpreted natural selection as an instrument
of God's design,
with the cleric Charles Kingsley seeing it as
"just as noble a conception of Deity".[134]
In 1860, the publication of Essays and Reviews
by seven liberal Anglican theologians diverted
clerical attention
from Darwin, with its ideas including higher
criticism attacked by church authorities as
heresy.
In it, Baden Powell argued that miracles broke
God's laws, so belief in them was atheistic,
and praised
"Mr Darwin's masterly volume [supporting] the
grand principle of the self-evolving powers of
nature".
Asa Gray discussed teleology with
Darwin, who imported and distributed Gray's
pamphlet on theistic evolution,
Natural Selection is not inconsistent with
natural theology.
The most famous confrontation was at the
public 1860 Oxford evolution debate during a
meeting of the
British Association for the Advancement of
Science, where the Bishop of Oxford Samuel
Wilberforce,
though not opposed to transmutation of
species, argued against Darwin's explanation
and human descent
from apes. Joseph Hooker argued strongly for
Darwin, and Thomas Huxley's legendary retort,
that he would rather
be descended from an ape than a man who
misused his gifts, came to symbolise a triumph
of science over religion.
The Church of England's response was mixed.
Darwin's old Cambridge tutors Sedgwick and
Henslow dismissed the ideas,
but liberal clergymen interpreted natural
selection as an instrument of God's design,
with the cleric Charles Kingsley
seeing it as "just as noble a conception of
Deity".
When going to Cambridge to become an Anglican
clergyman, he did not doubt the literal truth
of the Bible.
He learned John Herschel's science which, like
William Paley's natural theology, sought
explanations in laws of nature
rather than miracles and saw adaptation of
species as evidence of design. The theodicy of
Paley and Thomas Malthus
vindicated evils such as starvation as a
result of a benevolent creator's laws, which
had an overall good effect.
To Darwin, natural selection produced the good
of adaptation but removed the need for
design,and he could not see
the work of an omnipotent deity in all the
pain and suffering, such as the ichneumon wasp
paralysing caterpillars
as live food for its eggs.He still viewed
organisms as perfectly adapted, and On the
Origin of Species reflects theological
views. Though he thought of religion as a
tribal survival strategy, Darwin was reluctant
to give up the idea of God
as an ultimate lawgiver. He was increasingly
troubled by the problem of evil.
Darwin remained close friends with the vicar
of Downe, John Brodie Innes, and continued to
play a leading part
in the parish work of the church, but from
around 1849 would go for a walk on Sundays
while his family attended church.
He considered it "absurd to doubt that a man
might be an ardent theist and an evolutionist"
and, though reticent about his
religious views, in 1879 he wrote that "I have
never been an atheist in the sense of denying
the existence of a God. –
I think that generally ... an agnostic would
be the most correct description of my state of
mind"
Today we "recognise" Darwin as a "greeny"....
one who worships the creature rather than the
Creator!
[If these few statements about Darby and
Darwin have not awaken you to how heresies
have penetrated church doctrine
and how they continue to influence thoelogians
and teachers of the 21st century, then
consider the changes leaders
have made in their views and influences
touting other heresies in today's
churches.
Note: the following comments are not written
to bash sincere and responsible Christians
dedicated to the Light of Truth
in Jesus Christ and teachings of the writers
of the New Testament. They are written
to demonstrate how cunningly
satanic demons influence even the most
"stalwarts" of religous movements!]
Ephesians 5:5Amplified Bible (AMP)
For be sure of this: that no person practicing
sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life,
or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire
for the property of others and is greedy for
gain]—
for he [in effect] is an idolater—has any
inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of
God.
Keep in mind all are sinners and those who
have repented are justified by Faith living in
Faith
in the Light of Jesus Christ. These are not
those who are referenced in the above
scripture.
False apostles, false prophets and false
teachers are sorely warned against by Paul.
Galatians 5:9 (AMP)
A little leaven (a slight inclination to
error, or a few false teachers) leavens the
whole lump
[it perverts the whole conception of faith or
misleads the whole church].
John Nelso Darby has most definitely mislead
the Church and men like Cyrus Scofield has
perpetuated the heresies all over the world
through his endorsement of Darby's heresies
in designing, printing and distributing the
Scofield Reference Bible.
Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (August 19, 1843 –
July 24, 1921) was an American theologian,
minister,
and writer whose best-selling annotated Bible
popularized futurism and dispensationalism
among fundamentalist Christians. Scofield's
correspondence Bible study course was the
basis for his
Reference Bible, an annotated, and widely
circulated, study Bible first published in
1909 by Oxford University Press.
Scofield's taught futurism and
dispensationalism, a theology that was
systematized in the early nineteenth century
by the Anglo-Irish clergyman John Nelson Darby
(who like Scofield had also been trained as a
lawyer),
Dispensationalism emphasizes the distinctions
between the New Testament Church and ancient
Israel
of the Old Testament. Scofield believed that
between creation and the final judgment there
are seven distinct
eras of God's dealing with man and that these
eras are a framework around which the message
of the Bible
could be explained. It was largely through the
influence of Scofield's notes that
dispensational premillennialism
became influential among fundamentalist
Christians in the United States, and his notes
became a significant
source for popular religious writers such as
Hal Lindsey.
You have been presented with a brief
introduction as to how cunningly men are used
to design and to promote
false teaching and doctrines. As quoted
above, it only takes a slight inclination to
error, or a few false teachers
to pervert the TRUTH and become of a major
movement within the universal
church.
Want to know more about the process and
motives of men who perpetuate false teachings?
Galatians 4:16-17 (AMP)
16 Have I then become your enemy by telling
the truth to you and dealing sincerely with
you?
17 These men [the Judaizing teachers] are
zealously trying to dazzle you [paying court
to you,
making much of you], but their purpose is not
honorable or worthy or for any good.
What they want to do is to isolate you [from
us who oppose them], so that they may win you
over
to their side and get you to court their
favor.
The scriptures warn of the serverity of
perpetuating error and false teaching!
James 3:1 (AMP)
Not many [of you] should become teachers
(self-constituted censors and reprovers of
others),
my brethren, for you know that we [teachers]
will be judged by a higher standard and with
greater
severity [than other people; thus we assume
the greater accountability and the more
condemnation].

The
John Darby
Version: Dispensationally Manipulated
A.The
term "dispensationalism" refers
to the theological system invented by Plymouth
Brethren founder, John Nelson Darby
(Nov. 18, 1800 — April 29, 1882). While
historical accounts reveal that John
Darby was not the very first person to
conceive of the pre-tribulation rapture
and two distinct peoples of God
doctrines, he was the first to
indoctrinate fundamentalist churches in
the United States
with his dispensational hermeneutic.
This was accomplished via C. I.
Scofield,
who inserted John Darby's doctrines into
his selectively footnoted Old Scofield
Study Bible—copyright 1909 and 1917. John
Nelson
Darby marked his bible translation and
theological writings with

John

(November 18, 1800 – April 29, 1882) was

Brethren movement. It might surprise you
to learn that this man—regarded by
biographers as the Father of
Dispensationalism.

In
1867 John Darby
completed a new translation of the New
Testament
filled with
texts and footnotes that contradict the
Received Text:
"Darby
did not
feel such a need for a new translation
in English, because he considered the
King James Version to be adequate for
most purposes, and he encouraged his
followers to continue to use it. But, he
decided to produce a highly literal
English version of the New Testament for
study purposes. This New Testament was
first issued in parts, beginning with
the Gospel according to Matthew in 1865.
The New Testament was completed in 1867.
The version is exceedingly literal,
based upon modern critical editions of
the Greek text, and abundantly supplied
with text-critical and philological
annotations. The annotations are by far
the
most comprehensive and detailed to be
found in an English version."
[emphasis added.] (1)
John
Darby's Bible
was so liberal the modernists who
translated the 1881 English Revised
Version consulted
it:
"It
was
consulted by the translators of the
English Revised Version of 1881 (see
F.F.
Bruce, History of the Bible in English,
3rd ed., 1978, p. 132)." (3)
John
Darby highly
regarded modernists of his day:
In
my first edition
my translation was formed on the
concurrent voice of Griesbach, Lachmann,
Scholz, and Tischendorf: the first of
soberer judgment and critical acumen and
discernment; the next with a narrower
system of taking only the very earliest
MSS, so that sometimes he might have
only one or two; the third excessively
carelessly printed, but taking the mass
of Constantinopolitan MSS as a rule;
[emphasis added] Revised Preface to
second edition of the New Testament
(1871)
(4)
"Meanwhile,
since
my first edition, founded on the
concurrent judgment of the four great
modern editors, [he referenced
Griesbach, Lachmann, Scholz, and
Tischendorf]
following the received text unchanged
where the true reading was a disputed
point among them, the Sinaitic MS has
been discovered; the Vatican published;
Porphyry's of Acts and Paul's Epistles
and most of the Catholic Epistles and
the Apocalypse, and others, in the
Monumenta Sacra Inedita of Tischendorf,
as
well as his seventh edition." Revised
Preface to second edition of the New
Testament 1871 [bold emphasis added] (5)
Darby
gave honorable
mention to modernists who "enlarged the
field of criticism": "Mill,
Bengel, Wetstein (who greatly enlarged
the field of criticism), then Griesbach,
Matthei (the last giving the Russian
Codices, which are Constantinopolitan so
called), Lachmann, Scholz, Tischendorf,
and quite recently Tregelles. I name
only those of critical celebrity."
[emphasis added] (6)
John
Darby's
assertion that the Textus Receptus "had
no real authority"
corresponds with the fact that his
alleged "recovered truths" are not
found in the Authorized Version (KJV).
He stated:

"My
plan was,
where the chief editors agreed, to adopt
their reading, not to attempt to make
a text of my own. My object was a more
correct translation: only there was no
use in translating what all intelligent
critics held to be a mistake in the
copy. For, as is known, the Textus
Receptus had no real authority, nor was
indeed the English Version taken from
it, -- it was an earlier work by some
years." [emphasis added] (7)
In
view of the fact
that the bulk of John Darby's "recovered
truths" are prophetic in
nature, it is revealing that he rejected
the manuscripts the King James
translators used for Revelation:
"I
have always
stated the Textus Receptus in the margin
where it is departed from, except in
the Revelation, Erasmus having
translated that from one poor and
imperfect MS.,
which being accompanied by a commentary
had to be separated by a transcriber;
and even so Erasmus corrected what he
had from the Vulgate, or guessed what he
had not." [bold emphasis added] (8)

IMPORTANT:
Cyrus
Scofield, author of the Scofield 1917
Reference Bible, used occult terminology
in reference to the sacrifice of Jesus
Christ on the cross. According to C. I.
Scofield, "It was the cross of Jesus
Christ . . . that made at-one-ment.

Alice Bailey
wrote: "He [The World Teacher] is that
Great Being whom the Christian
calls the Christ; he is known also in
the Orient as the Bodhisattva, and as
the
Lord Maitreya, and is the one looked for
by the devout Mohammedan, under the
name of the Iman Madhi. He it is who has
presided over the destinies of life
since about 600 B.C. and he it is who
has come out among men before, and who
is
again looked for. He is the great Lord
of Love and of Compassion, just as his
predecessor, the Buddha, was the Lord of
Wisdom." http://www.share-berlin.info/index.htm?bailey.htm
John
Nelson Darby,
founder of the Plymouth
Brethren Movement and an early, integral
player in the modern Bible versions
movement marked his translation and his
doctrinal writings with the title of
the same "Christ" New Agers/occultists
are waiting for: "the
coming One."
The
phrase, "The
coming One" is used by New Agers all
over the world as they seek to invoke
their Christ to return to earth:
From
the point of
Love within the Heart of God
“Let
love stream
forth into the hearts of men.
May
The Coming One
return to Earth.”
(Quoted
from the
Great Invocation:1940 and 2000)
Below
are selected
citations of John Darby's use of the
Theosophical term, "coming One"
in reference to the Lord Jesus Christ or
Jehovah. Observe that John Darby
marked his Synopsis of the books of the
Bible repeatedly with the term,
"the coming One," thus associating the
title of Antichrist with the
true God of the Holy Bible.(Desk
note:
be careful to see the perversions in the
changed interpretation of KLV "is
to come" to Darby's version "the coming
one."

Darby:
We at the
close have all the responsibility. The
vision and the blessing was from Him who
is, and who was, and who is to come.
"Who is" is the immutable being
of God. Thus time is brought in in
connection with Him who is eternal - the
coming One - who is, was, and is coming.

True
faith, in the
midst of such a system, never rises so
high as the glory of the coming One, the
true rejected David, but it loves Him
and cleaves to Him. (4)
Innocence,
man
without law and lawless, promise coming
in as a thing apart, man under law,
under priesthood, obedient royalty with
law, sovereign unlimited royalty over
the world, prophets to recall to law and
to foretell the coming One and
judgments, and at last the Seed of
promise, grace in the world — this is
history, history as it appears in fact
in scripture, yet principles of dealing
with man which test him morally in every
way, and bring out the whole state in
which he is, in which I am, before God;
yet the connection of one part with
another no one of the writers could have
had in his mind, or does not refer to.
(5)
They
celebrate the
Creator-God, the governor of the world,
the God of the Old Testament; what He
is outside Christianity, consequently
for the world, whether the world or
Israel; the Almighty, Jehovah, the
coming One, the God who is coming, as He
is
the God who was. (6)
The
character of God
here is Jehovah, the Ancient of days,
who is, and who was, and is the coming
One. (7a)
{*The
reading is
this: "I am Alpha and Omega, saith the
Lord God, the One who is, and who
was, and who is the coming One, the
Almighty."} (7b)
But
the whole statement
is all a blunder. This age is before
Messiah, "the coming one" when
He is revealed, but two only are
admitted in the passage. (8)
He
presents Himself
in Nazareth,
His natural home on earth as the
fulfilment of the coming one in its
moral
blessing. (9)
Darby:
And this is
one great truth of what I may call the
translation of the name in the
Apocalypse; not "who was, and is, and is
to come," but "who
is" (o on), "who was" the God known of
old, the promiser withal,
and who is the "coming one" o
erchomenos, when He will be Ancient of
days, and Most High, possessor of heaven
and earth, and His name known (even
that Jehovah, and Jehovah alone, is so)
over all the earth. (10)
John
Nelson Darby
waited for "the coming One," (who is
also identified as "the
Christ", World Teacher and is coming in
the flesh) and looked forward to
what Theosophists refer to as the
"consummation of the age."

replacing the word, "world" with

presuppositions. In these instances, the
substitution of the word,

completion or consummation of the age of
a dispensation rather than the end of
the world.]
F.Cyrus
I. Scofield taught "The Cross . .
. made AT-ONE-MENT"
Cyrus
I. Scofield
associated the Cross of the Lord Jesus
Christ with
"at-one-ment,"
an
occult term that is straight out of the
New Age Movement:
"It
was the
Cross, not the Levitical sacrifices
which made "at-one-ment."

is the complete
footnote in the 1917 Old Scofield Study
Bible (page 148):

Atonement
Margin:
atonement
Atonement.
The
biblical use and meaning of the word
must be sharply distinguished from its
use
in theology. In theology it is a term
which covers the whole sacrificial and
redemptive work of Christ. In the O.T.
atonement is the English word used to
translate the Hebrew words which mean
"cover," "coverings,"
or "to cover." Atonement (at-one-ment)
is, therefore, not a
translation of the hebrew, but a purely
theologic concept. The Levitical
offerings "covered" the sins of Israel
until, and in anticipation
of the Cross, but did not "take away"
Heb 10:4 those sins. These were
the "sins done aforetime" ("covered"
meantime by the
Levitical sacrifices), which God "passed
over" Ro 3:25 for which
"passing over" God's righteousness was
never vindicated until, in the
Cross, Jesus Christ was "set forth a
propitiation." See
"Propitiation," Cmt. on Ro 3:25.
It
was the Cross, not the Levitical
sacrifices
which made "at-one-ment." The O.T.
sacrifices enabled God to go on
with a guilty people because they
typified the Cross. To the offerer they
were
the confession of his desert of death,
and the expression of his faith; to God
they were the "shadows" Heb 10:1 of
which Christ was the reality.

atonement
Heb.
kaphar, "to
cover." The English word "atonement"
(at-one-ment) is not a
translation of the Heb. kaphar, but a
translator's interpretation. According
to
Scripture the legal sacrifice "covered"
the offerer's sin and secured
the divine forgiveness; according to the
translators it made God and the sinner
at-one. But the O.T. sacrifices did not
at-one the sinner and God. "It is
not possible that the blood of bulls and
goats should take away sins." Heb
10:4. The Israelite's offering implied
confession of sin and of its due desert,
death; and God "covered" (passed over,"
Ro 3:25 his sin, in
anticipation of Christ's sacrifice,
which did, finally, "put away"
the sins "done aforetime in the
forbearance of God." Ro 3:25; Heb
9:15. Cmt. on Ro 3:25.
The
word
"atonement" does not occur in the N.T.;
Ro 5:11 meaning
reconciliation, and so rendered in the
R.V.

The
Meaning of
At-one-ment
Page
9John Nelson Darby Exposed
At-one-ment:
"...at-one-ment,
the
term relates primarily to the New Age
idea that complete oneness with God
can be experienced by human beings."
[emphasis added]
At-one-ment: Term used by
several Mind Science or New Thought
religions
(such as Christian Science) referring to
the supposed metaphysical unity or
“oneness” of human beings and God as
demonstrated by Christ. Contrast the
Christian term “atonement,” which refers
to Christ’s death on the cross as the
means by which he reconciled sinful
human beings toGod.
At-one-ment,
or
absorption into the One energy that is
God, is a prominently held view of most
New Agers' understanding of salvation.
It is the unfolding of one's
consciousness to the point that the
"True Self," the divine nature,
is realized. As a flower unfolds petal
by petal, so too does spiritual
evolution unfold, revealing the deeper
realms of God-consciousness.
The
Webster's 1828
Dictionary states the theological
definition of atonement:
"In
theology,
the expiation of sin made by the
obedience and personal sufferings of
Christ."
The
Free Dictionary's
definition of atonement: "The
reconciliation of God and humans brought
about by the redemptive life and death
of Jesus."
The
Webster's 1913
dictionary's definition of atonement:
(Literally,
a setting
at one.) Reconciliation; restoration of
friendly relations; agreement; concord.
[Archaic]
Atonement
(reconciliation
with God by the sacrifice of Jesus
Christ on the cross) does
not have the same meaning as the
theosophical term, at-one-ment, which
Theosophists define as union with God.
Summary
Cyrus
Scofield did
not provide the correct meaning of the
word, "at-one-ment" nor did he
warn his reader that this word has a
specific occult connotation. Instead, he
set the stage for the insertion of the
word, "at-one-ment," in place
of the proper word, atonement in a
doctrinal statement about the Cross of
Jesus
Christ.
Page
10John Nelson Darby Exposed
He
accomplished this
by first giving the correct theological
definition of atonement. Next, he
placed"at-one-ment" in
parenthesis next to the word, atonement.
Lastly, he inserted the word,
"at-one-ment" in his statement about the
Cross:
"It
was the
Cross, not the Levitical sacrifices
which made "at-one-ment."
Scofield's
switch to
New Age terminology linked the work of
the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross with
the work of the New Age "Christ," who
purposes to bring the planet
into what New Agers call at-one-ment:
"absorption into the One energy that
is God." (1)

The
Darby Version and
Scofield's Study Bible (as well
virtually all modern versions) condemn
as
deceivers and antichrists those who
refuse to confess that Jesus Christ is
yet
to come in the flesh. Indeed, those who
hold fast to Jesus Christ as revealed
in the Authorized Version without
marginal notes that recommend corrupt
text
alterations shall be denounced as
antichrists when the One World

The only confession of
"Christ" that the one world
church/global interfaith movement
approves is the one Darby marked his
Version with—the one who is coming in
the
flesh as a teacher (rather than the
Master) and goes by the New Age title,
"the Christ" rather than Christ. This
"coming in flesh"
Christ is the New Age World Teacher.
CLOSING
COMMENTS:
Some may object to my assertion that
Darby and Scofield's (and other modern
versions') "Christ" of 2 John 1:7 is
actually a thinly veiled
reference to Antichrist but sadly, this
is definitely the case. 2 John 1:7
refers to the first advent of Jesus
Christ, not his Second Coming.
Jesus
Christ is come
in the flesh and he will come again and
"shall change our vile body, that
it may be fashioned like unto his
glorious body." (See Philippians 3:21)

The
Bible clearly distinguishes between
tribulation and wrath. Jesus
teaches His apostles about the Great
Tribulation in Matt. 24:1-33.
He goes into
great detail of the coming
events.
God revealed the
Abomination of Desolation upon Jerusalem,
the Jewish leadership
and the
unbelieving Jews to the prophet
Daniel. This
is past history.
The
Lord
also
spoke
of
the
Sign
of the Kingdom that would announce His
reign
and completion of
the foundation work of establishing
the church in the then known
world or
nations... in the then known and living
souls of the generation to Whom
the Lord was
speaking! These men were the generation!
The generation He
referenced was that of His disciples
called and ordained
to be eye-witness
apostles of His life, ministry, death,
resurrection and ascension! This is past
history.
All through
Christiandom, men and women are
proclaiming
"THIS IS THE GENERATION!"
Preachers have
been proclaiming
"THIS IS THE GENERATION" for MANY
GENERATIONS!
It matters not
what number of years one wishes to
attribute to the number
of "a
generation." The Lord Jesus decreed
a specific generation...
the generation of His eye-witness
disciples!
Jesus
Christ, tells of the destruction of the
Jerusalem Temple and the end
of the world that the
disciples had known as
recorded in Matthew 24, Luke 23
and Mark 16.The Temple
and its sacrificial worship carried out by
priests
in the alter slaughter
and offerings of the blood of
rams, sheep and goats
would be
destroyed. It would seize!
The New Covenant would
be fully established and Christ
Jesus
would be the High
Priest of the Church! It would no
longer be the Church with its "roots" of
the Wilderness"
but NOW would be the
Church restored by the Eternal
Spirit!
Its Covenant would no
longer be the Law of Sinand Death
given to Moses,
but the New
Covenant...Law of the Spirit and Eternal
Life initiated by the work
of the Cross of Jesus
Christ and the victory over Death in the
Resurrection!
All the
things the Lord prophesied to the
disciples on Mount Olive as they
looked
back at the Templeas the
sun was setting causing the gold-laden
temple structure to
glisten with
incomprehensibleradiance
would be fulfilled ... Matt
24:34 Verily I say unto you, This
generation shall not pass,
till all these things be fulfilled.
When you read the
passages of Mathew 24, Luke 23 and
Mark 16 remember to whom
Jesus was
talking. Review the world
in which they lived.
What had they seen Jesus
do and what did they hear Him say
while in the Temple?
What did they see and
what might they be remembering as they
climbed the
Mount of Olives?
How many times had they
been with Jesus on the Mount?
What had they
experienced in those gatherings on the
Mount?
What kind of views could
they observe from the Mount?
What was going on
at the very moment and time that Jesus
was speaking on the Mount?
What was about to
happen to their beloved Lord?
What was about to
happen in their individual lives?
What were their
reactions to what Jesus told them in
His Olivet Discourse?
What was about to
happen to them in their world as they
were accustomed to living? What
would be the things that would
immediately impact them?
What kind of understanding did they
have of the Law of the Spirit?
If you study Biblical
History written by those who lived
during the time of the prophesies
of Jesus on the Mount of
Olives through the years between
around AD 30 and AD 70
such as written by
Flavius Josephus in his eye witness
accounts of the Jewish Wars,
you will see and
receive full measure of enlightenment
and understanding as to the
message the Lord
gave to His disciples! The Great
Tribulation was a Jewish nation
event!This is past
history.
Jesus did not
prophesy it for the whole world that
would be on the earth 2000 years
forth
coming... It was the Days of
Vengeance in which Father God
fulfilled His decrees
of the prophets of
old by allowing the promises in the
Law of Sin and Death to have its
discourse upon the
rebellious and apostate Jewish
nation.
In and through
their own defilement the fulfillment
of their own decree...
God's nation, the
Jews, called for the crucifixion of
the Son of God,
of which Pilate had
the wooden-hewed plaque, "the King of
the Jews" posted
on the tree of
crucifixion. Matt 27:24-25 AMP
24
So
when
Pilate
saw
that
he
was
getting
nowhere, but rather that a riot was
about
to break out, he took water
and washed his hands in the presence
of the crowd, saying,
I am not guilty of nor
responsible for this righteous Man's
blood; see to it yourselves.
25 And all the people
answered, Let His blood be on us and
on our children!
We will later study
the "apostate nation" and writings of
apostle John in the Revelation
of Jesus Christ.
Please begin to read the Bible
in terms of to whom the passages were
written. For
example, who was John writing to in
the Book of Revelation of Jesus
Christ?
We will recall that
John was exiled to the Isle of Pathos.
Revelation
1:9-10 AMP
9 I, John, your brother and companion
(sharer and participator) with you in
the tribulation
and kingdom
and patient endurance [which are] in
Jesus Christ, was on the isle called
Patmos, [banished]
on account of [my witnessing to] the
Word of God and the testimony
(the proof,
the evidence) for Jesus Christ.
10 I was in the
Spirit [rapt in His power] on the
Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a
great
voice like
the calling of a war trumpet...
Revelation

God gave it

His bond servants certain things

in introducing the experience he had in the
very first verse
of the Revelation of
Jesus Christ. His address is to the
"bond servants'
(those who have fully
dedicated their lives) to the cause of the
plan of God for
mankind as instructed
and demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ in
His apostolic
advent to the earth!
What was God doing in
that particular time and how would it
impact the things He had
planned and
designed to bring forth the New
Covenant and to restore mankind to the
Edenic realm of
perfection. Search for the
'patterns of the Son.' Ephesians
4:12-15 AMP
12
His
intention
was
the
perfecting
and
the
full
equipping of the saints
(His
consecratedpeople),
[that they should do] the work of
ministering toward
building up
Christ's body (the
church),
13[That
it might develop] until we all
attain oneness in the faith and in
the
comprehension of
the [full and accurate] knowledge of
the Son of God, that
[we might
arrive] at really maturemanhood
(the completeness of personality
which is
nothing less than the standard
height of Christ's own
perfection),
the measure
of the stature of the fullness of
the Christ and the completeness
found in
Him.
14
So
then,
we
may
no
longer
be
children,
tossed [like ships] to and fro
between
chance gusts
of
teaching
and
wavering
with
every
changing
wind
of doctrine,
[the prey
of] the cunning and
cleverness of unscrupulous men,
[gamblers engaged]
in every
shifting form of
trickery
in inventing errors to mislead.
15 Rather, let our lives lovingly
express truth [in all things,
speaking truly, dealing truly,
living
truly].
Enfolded
in
love,
let
us
grow
up
in every way and in all things into
Him
Who is
the Head, [even] Christ (the
Messiah, the Anointed one).
Have you personally
studied out the scriptures regarding the teaching of a
"double rapture"?
Where can you show that
there is more than one throne prepared for
the Lord Jesus?
Does your Bible
state that the Lord is seated to the
right-hand of the Father on the
Davidic Throne
which is an Eternal Throne?
Does your Bible
instruct that there is a Last Day of history
when the dead in Christ
shall rise and
those alive shall be changed into an
immortal spiritual body?
Does your Bible
instruct that there is a Day of final
judgement!
Can you find
provision in your Bible that specifically
instructs you will be 'raptured'
from the earth
twice?
Do you find
provision for being taken from 'the field'
(which is the earth) before
the day of the
Lord's second coming?
We are born once to
life on earth and once to be absence from
the body
and in the eternal
presence of the Lord... ( this does
not limit the spiritual
experiences one may
have in trances and heavenly visitations.)
Does your Bible
specifically state a "double rapture" is to
occur?
What
pre-suppositions would you make to enable
the Bible to instruct of such?
Would you implant a
supposition that He would be
required to come a third time?
Do you find
provision for God to recreate what He has
closed out through the sacrifice
of His only
begotten Son?
God closed the door
on the Law of Sin and Death as the way to
cover sin.
However, He allows it to
be a teacher to bring mankind to the Cross
of Christ
for the true
sacrifice and sin covering.
No more is there
the earthly blood sacrifice of animals as
substitution of individual
and corporate sin
(rebellion against God of a
nation).
God is a consuming
fire in spiritual and physical realms!
He consumed by fire
the practice of the administrations of the
'hands of men.'
The Jerusalem
Temple and the City of the most wicked
generation who called for
the Death of His
Son. They were consumed for their
disobedience and a small band
of faithful
followers waited in unity of spirit.
The incarnation of the Lord Jesus
was symbolized by
the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the
head of the Lord which
we depict in Psalms
133: AMP
BEHOLD, HOW good
and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell
together in unity!
2 It is like the
precious ointment poured on the head, that
ran down on the beard,
even the beard of
Aaron [the first high priest], that came
down upon the collar and
skirts of his garments
[consecrating the whole body].
3 It is like the dew of
[lofty] Mount Hermon and the dew that comes
on the hills of Zion;
for there the Lord has
commanded the blessing, even life
forevermore [upon the high
and the lowly].
God the Father
initiated the work of His own Son that all
men should be reconciled
to Him through the
Law of the Spirit!
Can you find evidence
that God will change His rules and deal with
mankind
differently than what He
has already established through the
resurrection and
ascension?
Did God make different
rules for men of later generations to be
redeemed?
Can you find a specific
reference to God establishing an earthly
throne which
disregards His decrees
and declarations through the ages by
multiple prophets?
Are God's promises not to
stand eternally?
Absurd!
Heresy! False speculations and
suppositions!
God is true to His
Word! He esteems His Word above His
Name...
His Name represents ALL
that He Is... the Great I AM! God is
NOT a Liar! May you be blessed in
assurance that the scriptures clearly
provide and declare
the following ...
Here are 7 Kingdom
Absolutes that the Lord gave to the
Apostles.
1. Scripture reveals
the Apostles Understanding that the
promise to
David and the father’s of Israel
concerning Messiah’s Kingdom has
already been fulfilled in the
resurrection of Jesus.
2. Scripture reveals
the Apostles Understanding of Kingdom
Initiation...
The response to the Gospel of the
Apostles of the Lamb is
>to repent,
>be baptized into the death and
resurrection of Christ.
>receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,
(the baptism of the Spirit)
>be added to the Lord’s Church… the
general assembly of heaven
and His appointed placement for you in a
fellowship on earth.
3. Scripture
reveals the Apostles' Understanding that
the New Covenant
in the Blood of Jesus Christ Is the
Promised Blessing or Mercies of
David.
4. Scripture
reveals the Apostles' Understanding that
the church is Zion,
the promised House of David.
5. Scripture
reveals the Apostles' Understanding that
the Jewish Age is
behind the Church, not ahead of the
Church.
6. Scripture
reveals the Apostles' Understanding of
the Apostolic
Government (the Apostolate, the Body) is
the basis of the church's Unity and
the foundation or Key to the Church's
Success.
7. Scripture
reveals the Apostles' Understanding that
the nations are a
vital part of the Church's Heritage.
These absolutes
are wonderfully documented by the
writings and actions of the
Apostles of the
Lamb as well as the actions of
Ascension-gift Apostles such as
Paul and
Barnabas. Paul’s letters
detail the apostolic-prophetic
foundations
for building
the church and for expansion of the
Kingdom of God in the earth.
Scripture
foretells of a future, glorious return
of Christ that will
conclude temporal
history and bring to fulfillment all
remaining aspects
of Biblical
prophecy. The Lord Jesus
in His resurrection and ascension
to the
Eternal throne of David fulfilled
all things!
Our belief is
that the Kingdom of God will increase
victory after victory until it is
fully
consummated when the Knowledge of the
Glory of God covers the earth
as the waters
cover the seas. 1 Cor
15:24-25 AMP 24
After that comes the end (the
completion), when He delivers over the
kingdom to
God the Father
after rendering inoperative and
abolishing every [other] rule and every
authority and
power.
25 For [Christ] must
be King and reign until He has put all
[His] enemies under His feet.
It is the Church that
is the instrumentality of the Kingdom
and God works all things in
expanding the Kingdom
through His Church in the earth.
It will be upon the
second coming of Christ that signals the
work of Church is complete.
The Head and the Body
shall become ONE in perfect eternal
order and given to the
Father as the
"Perfect Image."
The Head and Body is
symbolic of the perfect man designed and
created in the Garden
of Eden before the
fall... made in the image of God!
All will have been
restored to the perfect will, plan and
acts of God at Christ's second coming.
The Church will have
come into power and fullness of grace
and perfection
Daniel
7:13-14 New American Standard
version
3 "I kept looking in the night
visions,
And
behold, with the clouds of heaven
One
like a Son of Man was coming,
And
He came up to the Ancient of Days
And
was presented before Him.
14
"And to Him was given dominion,
Glory
and a kingdom,
That
all the peoples, nations, and men of
every language
Might
serve Him.
His
dominion is an everlasting dominion
Which
will not pass away;
And
His kingdom is one Which will not be
destroyed.

Thessalonians 5
AMP Apostle Paul is
addressing the Church at
Thessalonica in regard to the
declaration of the Lord Jesus about
the Great
Tribulation that would
begin
in AD 66 and concludewith the great judgment and
Desolation
of Abomination in AD 70.
1 BUT AS to the suitable times and the
precise seasons and dates, brethren,
you have no necessity for anything being
written to you. 2 For you yourselves know
perfectly well that the day of the [return
of the] Lord will
come [as unexpectedly and suddenly] as a
thief in the night. 3 When people are saying,
All is well and secure, and, There is peace
and safety, then
in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and
death) will come upon them as
suddenly as
labor pains come upon a woman with child;
and they shall by no means
escape, for
there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in [given
up to the power of] darkness, brethren, for
that day to
overtake
you by surprise
like a thief. 5 For you are all sons of
light and sons of the day; we do not belong
either to the night
or to darkness. 6 Accordingly then, let us
not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep
wide awake
(alert,
watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let
us be sober (calm, collected,
and circumspect). 7 For those who sleep, sleep at
night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at
night. 8 But we belong to the day;
therefore, let us be sober and put on the
breastplate
(corslet) of faith and love and for a helmet
the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not appointed us
to [incur His] wrath [He did not select us
to condemn us],
but [that we might] obtain
[His] salvation through our Lord Jesus
Christ (the Messiah) 10 Who died for us so that whether we
are still alive or are dead [at Christ's
appearing],
we might live
together with Him and share His life. 11 Therefore encourage (admonish,
exhort) one another and edify (strengthen
and
build up) one
another, just as you are doing. 12 Now also we beseech you,
brethren, get to know those who labor among
you
[recognize them for what
they are, acknowledge and appreciate and
respect themall]--
your
leaders who are over you in the Lord and
those who warn and kindly reprove
and
exhort
you. 13 And hold them in very high and
most affectionate esteem in [intelligent andsympathetic]
appreciation of
their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we earnestly beseech you,
brethren, admonish (warn and seriously
advise)those
who are
out of line [the loafers, the disorderly,
and the unruly]; encourage the
timid and
fainthearted,
help and give your support to the weak
souls, [and] be
very patient with
everybody [always keeping your temper]. [Isa
35:4.] 15 See that none of you repays
another with evil for evil, but always aim
to showkindness
and
seek to do good to one another and to
everybody. 16 Be happy [in your faith] and
rejoice and be glad-hearted continually
(always); 17 Be unceasing in prayer [praying
perseveringly]; 18 Thank [God] in everything [no
matter what the circumstances may be, be
thankful
and give thanks], for this is the will of
God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus
[the Revealer and Mediator of that
will]. 19 Do not quench (suppress or
subdue) the [Holy] Spirit; 20 Do not spurn the gifts and
utterances of the prophets [do not
depreciate prophetic
revelations nor despise
inspired instruction or exhortation or
warning]. 21 But test and prove all things
[until you can recognize] what is good; [to
that] hold fast. 22 Abstain from evil [shrink from
it and keep aloof from it] in whatever form
or whatever
kind it may be. 23 And may the God of peace
Himself sanctify you through and through
[separate youfrom
profane things,
make you pure and wholly consecrated to
God]; and may yourspirit
and
soul and body be preserved sound and
complete [and found] blameless atthe
coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). 24 Faithful is He Who is calling
you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy,
and He will also
do it
[fulfill His call
by hallowing and keeping you]. 25 Brethren, pray for us. 26 Greet all the brethren with a
sacred kiss. 27 I solemnly charge you [in the
name of] the Lord to have this letter read
before all thebrethren. 28 The grace (the unmerited favor
and blessings) of our Lord Jesus Christ (the
Messiah)
be with you all.
Amen, (so be it).
The
judgment
and
Desolation of Abomination was sent
upon apostate Israel.
The study of
Matthew chapter 24 is an exciting
revealing of the things Jesus told
the disciples in regard to what
John the Baptist declared in Luke
Chapter 3.
The
Lord
Jesus
declared
that all He was telling would
happen within their own
generation and that the then known
world which was the Roman Empire
would
have the Gospel preached to it
before the destruction of
Jerusalem in 70 AD.
The
end
of
apostate
Israel was the end of the
administration of the Law of
Moses and blood sacrifices of
animals in earthly temple worship.
The Old
Covenant was officially closed and
the New Covenant was fully
established.
It was the
sign that the Kingdom of Christ
was now the heavenly order of
mankind
and that a
new heaven and earth was
formed. Jesus is now the
King of all nations
ruling
on
the eternal throne of David and a
new earth of the Spirit realm has
been
established
with the sending of the Holy Ghost
to administrate in the midst of
the
hearts
and
minds of mankind. No longer
the Old, but the New is created...
Old
Zion
of the Law of Moses is no
more. The New Zion of the
Law of the Spirit
now
reigns!
God is spirit and those who seek
Him must do so in spirit and
truth.

Peter 2:9-10 NKJV
But
you
are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, His
own special
people, that
you may proclaim the praises of
Him who called you out of
darkness
into His marvelous
light;10 who once were not a
people but are now the people
of God, who
had
not obtained mercy but now have
obtained mercy.
Matt 24:14-15 AMP
14
And
this
good
news of the kingdom (the Gospel)
will be preached throughout
thewhole world
as a testimony to all the
nations, and then will come the
end.
15
So
when
you
see the appalling sacrilege [the
abomination that astonishes and
makesdesolate],
spoken of by the prophet Daniel,
standing in the Holy Place--
let the readertake
notice
and ponder and consider and heed
[this]--
SEE
[Dan
9:27;
11:31;
12:11.
(Matt 24:34 Verily I say
unto you, This generation shall
not pass,
till
all
these
things
befulfilled. KJV)
The
Abomination
of
Desolation
would bring total judgment upon
the apostate
nation of
Israel. It would be the end
of an age and make way for the New
Creation,
Spiritual Israel,
where both Jew and Gentile would
become One Holy nation,
New
Jerusalem,
the
Church
age.
We
need
to
study
the Jewish mission of the Apostles
of the Lamb and contrast
it with the Gentile mission of the
ascension-gift apostles to receive
a clear
understanding
of
the
fulfillment
of
the church's role from the period
of Christ's
ascension
up
to
and
including the events of the
destruction of
Jerusalem.
Such
study
will
also
bring clarity to the book of
Revelation, its purpose, timing
and
poetic
and
descriptive
language.
