Matt 16:18  (New King James Version Bible)
   And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church,
   and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

   The following is the Light of Truth:
   The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of One Church, and the King of the
   Universe ruling today in heaven on the eternal throne of David.
           Revelation 1:5;  2Samuel 7:11;  Acts 2:29-36;  Acts 13:26-34  Psalm 2:6;
          Psalm 110:1  and others: Psalms 2, 16, 18, 22, 45, 72, 110, 122 
   He is ruling His One Body by the testimony of the Gospel and by the abiding presence
   of the Holy Spirit to mature the Church that the nations of the earth be filled with
   the Glory of God.  

    Church is One.   The whole is represented by its parts. 
    (Rom. 1:4; 12:5; 1 Cor.10:17; 12:12-13; 12:20; Eph. 2:16; 4:4-8; Col. 3:15) 
    The parts are the myriad of allotments of believers established in valid order
    under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the fellowship of apostles, prophets, evangelists,
    pastors and teachers appointed by the Lord Jesus Christ called the apostolate. 
    It is the Body of the Living God established to be obedient to One Faith. 
    It is multi-generational, multi-cultural, multi-diverse in localities, but accounted
    One in the Gospel entrusted to the apostles of the Lamb and the generational ascension-gifts
    of Christ... the One Apostolate of the King. 
    Acts 1:20-26   AMP
    20 For in the book of Psalms it is written, Let his place of residence become deserted and gloomy,
    and let there be no one to live in it; and [again], Let another take his position or overseership.
    [Ps 69:25; 109:8.]
    21 So one of the [other] men who have accompanied us [apostles] during all the time that the
    Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
    22 From the baptism of John at the outset until the day when He was taken up from among us--
    one of these men must join with us and become a witness to testify to His resurrection.
    23 And they accordingly proposed (nominated) two men, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was
    surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
    24 And they prayed and said, You, Lord, Who know all hearts ( their thoughts, passions, desires,
    appetites, purposes, and endeavors), indicate to us which one of these two You have chosen
    25 To take the place in this ministry and receive the position of an apostle, from which Judas fell
    away and went astray to go [where he belonged] to his own [proper] place.
   26 And they drew lots [between the two], and the lot fell on Matthias; and he was added to and
    counted with the eleven apostles (special messengers).

    The One Holy Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is ordained by Father God. 
    It is One Church with myraids of allotments around the globe.
    The Bible proclaims the existence of multiple sovereignties, multiple institutions that bear
    lawful authority.  Human institutions possess legitimate sovereignty but such sovereignty
    is limited and only received from divine source.  God alone possesses absolute supremacy
    in all power.  Any attempt by any institution to command final authority is one of darkness. 
    All institutions are to be under God and governed by God's law.   WHY?
    Institutions which set themselves as having the final authority are designed and administered
    by those who openly defy the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Therefore, in reality,
    they set themselves up as a "god." 
    Romans 1:21-25  AMP
    21 Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify
    Him as God or give Him thanks.
    But instead they became futile and  godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish
    reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.
    (HGMI Note: They did not thank Him for His Holy Spirit.They denied Christ, shutting Him
    out and mocked Him.  When the Word of God and Holy Spirit are not allowed to abide and
    guide, the spirit of anti-christ controls and spiritual darkness prevails).
    22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons
    of themselves].
    23 And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged
    for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.
    (HGMI note: In other words, they made rules and laws by their own "hands' to adhere to
    their own wants, desires, conveniences and purposes.)
    24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity, to the
    dishonoring of their bodies among themselves [abandoning them to the degrading power
    of sin],
    25 Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the
    creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen (so be it). [Jer 2:11.]
    Lawlessness is ramport in all institutions not totally submitted to God. 
    Media sources shout of scandals of immorality that literally flood the headlines about every
    institution:  Family, Church and State.
   
    The Gospel and Light of Jesus Christ is Father God's law to moral conduct both here on
    earth and in heaven. No single institution (a cultural or organizational structure or practice
    established to further a "cause") commands permanent authority over all the others.
    The Bible does not proclaim a "pyramid structure" of institutions whether Family, Church
     or State as God's order.  The structural hierarchy of Royal families, Socialism, Communism
     and Federalism are all pyramid structures.  Each of these are types of institutionalism.  
     As such they are designed with some institutions at the bottom, and a single "institution" or
     authority at the top.  As such we are faced with the society of Satan: the worldly systems
     in which deception is a strong motivator to achieve personalized agendas.
     Thievery, immoral acts and greed for control of money and power are lawlessness...sin.
     John 10:10 AMP
     The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have
     and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

     The Lord's One Holy Apostolic Church is a supernatural binding of responsible men and
      women under the authority and administration of God, but never, self directing or self
      serving under God.  It is the Body of Christ universal and the Church cannot stand unless
      the Holy Spirit is its guide and director... not a council of men set in place by other men
      as a global council. God says of Himself about His abiding and directing the Church...
      Ephesians 1:21-23  AMP
      21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is
      named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world,
      but also in the age and the world which are to come.
      22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and
      supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], [Ps 8:6.]
      23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full
      measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere
      with Himself].

      The Light of Life:
      John 10:11 11    I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His
      [own] life for the sheep. [Ps 23.] 
       The Lord Jesus gives specific instructions to His followers of believers based upon His own
      example.   Mark 8:34-37  AMP
      And Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends
      to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself
      and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with
      My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me].
      35 For whoever wants to save his [higher, spiritual, eternal] life, will lose it [the lower,
      natural, temporal life which is lived only on earth]; and whoever gives up his life [which
      is lived only on earth] for My sake and the Gospel's will save it [his higher, spiritual life
      in the eternal kingdom of God].
      36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal
      kingdom of God]?
      37 For what can a man give as an exchange ( a compensation, a ransom, in return) for
      his [blessed] life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?    

         Please work with me to understand what the Lord is revealing here!  Neither Individualism
      (the assertion of self in all matters of life whereby one's goals and pursuits succeed by
      one's own initiative and take preference over the interests of others) nor, Collectivism
      (the system under which ownership and control and means of creating and promoting
      lifestyle models, values, positions, offices, placements or assignments are in the
      hands of the people) is valid as an exclusive order of a society.

      What order is mankind to follow?
      The pattern of Jesus Christ, the Son of Father God, is demonstrated in Covenantalism
      (individuals under God and under God's applicable Laws).  The New Covenant is Jesus
      Christ pesonified in the earth through the Law of the Spirit...
      Romans 8:1-6  AMP
      8:1 THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for
      those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh,
      but after the dictates of the Spirit.  [John 3:18.]
      2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has
      freed me from the law of sin and of death.
      3 For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh
      [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of
      sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued,
      overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], [Lev 7:37.]
     4 So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live
     and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not
     by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit].
     5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their
     minds on and  pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to
     the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and  seek those
     things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.
     6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death
     [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter].
     But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

    Without the Holy Spirit as the one Who distributes and appropriates
   to the Church, the Church cannot become One unless He is its
   guide and director.  No man or collective council of men can know
   the mind of Christ for the universal church.  No council can
   administrate the universal church.  Focus and restoration
   is the work of the Holy Spirit and results through obedience to
   God's sovereignty (His supreme authority and power) by the whole
   Body.   The pattern of papal succession has been tried... it is
   breaking apart due to the sinful ways of men.  To try to establish
   any form of institutional rule that puts the church under the wisdom
   and spirit of men is unscriptural and is destined to fail.
