is time to take back that
which has been
stolen
by extremist spirits and
humanistic powers of
darkness!
We are now in a year of new beginnings...2008
We are
hearing voices resound
across the nation about
CHANGE for our nation.
If you have been tuned to the political campaigns,
you have heard much rhetoric regarding Change.
It is the "buzz" word heard loudly
and repeatedly by the candidates.
God's
apostles and prophets have been speaking and writing about the numeric
symbolism and figurative implications for the year 2008 long
before the
dawning of
the New
Year.
You will find many places in the pages of the City of
Lights
where we have documented these awesome principles.
They are all about the moves (changes) God has revealed to come upon
the church and the earth. They are changes involving God's
sovereign institutions of families, churches and civil governments.
In January of 2007 the Holy Spirit
released messages regarding God's
vision and projected move of the Holy Spirit preparing the church for
2008.

through Jesus Christ
Who is the Healer and the Deliverer!
He is the Head of the Church Body.
Father God is bringing strength into His body
to walk victoriously!

for the saved and the unsaved.

will
take
commitment and action to experience this new thing God is doing through

"You see that a man is
justified (pronounced righteous before God) through
what he does and not alone through faith (through works of
obedience as well as by what he believes)."
James

Apostle Paul puts it this way... 11
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already]
laid,
which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the
Anointed one).
12 But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold,
silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
13 The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown
for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and
declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will
test and
critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has
done.
14 If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any
product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his
reward.
15 But if any person's work is burned up [under the test], he will

not become as the five foolish
virgins!
(Matt. 25:1-13 AMP)
THEN THE kingdom
of
heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who
took their lamps and went to
meet the bridegroom. 2 five of them were foolish
(thoughtless, without forethought)
and five were wise (sensible,
intelligent, and prudent). 3 For when the foolish took
their lamps, they did not take any [extra]
oil with them; 4 But the wise took flasks of
oil along with them [also] with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom
lingered and was slow in coming, they all began
nodding their heads,
and they fell asleep. 6 But at midnight there was a
shout, Behold, the bridegroom!
Go out to meet him! 7 Then all those virgins got
up and put their own lamps in order. 8 And the foolish said to the
wise,
Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are
going out. 9 But the wise replied, There
will not be enough for us and for you;
go instead to the dealers and
buy for yourselves. 10 But while they were going
away to buy, the bridegroom came,
and those who were prepared went in
with him to the marriage feast;
and the door was shut. 11 Later the other virgins
also came and said, Lord, Lord, open [the door]
to us! 12 But He replied, I solemnly
declare to you, I do not know you
[I am not acquainted with you]. 13 Watch therefore [give
strict attention and be cautious and active],
for you know neither the
day nor the hour when the Son of Man
will come.

inspiration that magnified in my spirit
and resulted in the creation of this prophetic newsletter issue.
Just Suppose!
JUST SUPPOSEthose who don't want God in our public
schools would
take their kids
out instead of those who DO want God in their kids lives. .
. and.
.
JUST SUPPOSEthat at every ballgame, graduation, prom,
etc, someone
who has had
enough of anti-historical court decisions had the guts to
start reciting
the
Lord's Prayer loudly, and others joined in, then more,
until hundreds participated. JUST SUPPOSEthis spread all over our land until this
became
standard
practice in hundreds of schools, then thousands, then tens
of thousands.
Just what would local school boards do?
Expel half the student body? (They
need their jobs and federal funding
far too much to do that.)
What would a
Federal district court do? Order hundreds of
nonviolent, decent
minors jailed? Or thousands?
Just what would the Supreme Court
do about
it? Issue more edicts?
What if millions decided the Supreme Court was out
of its league
and said, "So what?"
JUST SUPPOSE hundreds of brave, school
board members, local judges, prosecutors,
and others, each in their own area of authority, refused
to intervene, realizing that we have already tried it the other way, and
the
result was a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah of immorality and senseless
violence. JUST
SUPPOSEthis then spread next
into classroom after
classroom,
and either a
brave student or a brave teacher started the Lord's Prayer
(or Psalm
100,
or a Bible reading, etc.) each morning, until hundreds
of thousands
stood up and did their part and stopped cowering before
the destructive,
God-hating, secular attitudes of the pagan minority
who parrot the media line. JUST SUPPOSEevery God-fearing Christian
participated-peacefully,
nonviolently, but firmly and
continually. During
the Civil Rights battles of the
60's, some of the
black
people
decided they had enough and stood up to the system,
a few
dozen here,
a few
hundred there and eventually, the whole country
heard,
and repented, and changed. Racial
repression was an evil whose
time was over. But now, there is another battle and the
stakes are even
higher. The future
of all children, white, black, and otherwise, is at stake.
No other
country on earth allows a tiny minority of
impractical
anti-religious
bigots to censor their people's right to free
religious expression.
Even Russian public schools show videos of the life
and teachings of Jesus now. We tend to get exactly the kind of
government we deserve.
If
you make a time
line or a graph, you will see that the exponential
increase in public
school violence, pregnancy, and foul language all
started
at exactly
the
time the Supreme Court threw prayer and Bible
reading out of the schools. We told God we didn't need Him, and the
results speak for themselves. JUST SUPPOSEhundreds of Christians passed this message
on to
all their friends, leaders and contacts. JUST SUPPOSEhundreds of churches, organizations and
ministries
passed this message
on to their constituencies with a request to reprint,
repost and repeat it wherever possible. JUST SUPPOSE you are a lighthouse.
Once upon a time, the Church was the moral
conscience and spiritual
lighthouse of the nation. Now,
most congregations
are impotent, pusillanimous*minor-league
social welfare agencies or mutual comfort societies
with no impact on the world around their little enclave. *pusillanimous=lacking
courage and
resolution JUST SUPPOSEyou forwarded this to your friends.. JUST SUPPOSE it made a difference.

note: It is time for God's people to break the bonds of
apathy and indifference
toward the principles of the kingdom. There are many peace
actions that can be taken. Learning to extend the Kingdom in
demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit as Jesus instructed is
the first place for each saint to start. The spiritual
truths and actions of grace and faith will turn this nation
around. Watch
for each issue of the Prophetic Voice Newsletter for exciting
spiritual food and insight to the LIGHT of LIFE.
GREAT things are just ahead! Make preparation for them by feeding
on His Word and working the works of the Kingdom!

Polycarp is

This
account bears testimony to a growing challenge confronting the
church around the middle
of the 2nd century. (A.D. 155-160)
Because of its belief in One God... that
being the Living God, creator
of heaven and earth...the church found itself engaged in a struggle
with the Roman state which permitted no compromise and from which
eventually only one of the two would emerge victorious. The
steadfastness of Polycarp's
faith in Christ and the fearlessness with which he faced death became a
model for the many believers who found themselves in similar
circumstances during the course of the next hundred and fifty years. In
A.D. 313, Constantine released an edict known as the Edict of Milan
which brought an end to the conflict and
victory to the church.
We can
take
the lesson and magnify it in the earth today for the
generation today and the
generations to come....
To
exercise faith
requires courage and action!
That
is good News! God said, DO NOT FEAR!
2 Timothy 1:7 AMP
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven
and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power
and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and
self-control.
