The Prophetic Voice Newsletter Issue 21

Suppose that you began your reading of this Issue by first getting quiet in your
spirit before God.  You wait until you are focused on Him and then say,
"Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening"
(I Samuel 3:9)
In the solitude and stillness, what might God say to you?

To some, He may say, "Come to me, repent of your sin and enter into a faith-oriented
    relationship with Me."

To those who have already entered the narrow gate through Christ, He may say,
"Return to Me. You have been stumbling in your own strength.  Let's get reacquainted.
    Let's have fellowship again."

To those facing trials He might offer words of comfort: "I know your name and I'm right here.
I know your pain and I'm going to give you strength... trust Me."

To those faithful through hardships, He might say, "I Am glad you are being faithful.
I know life has been difficult for you, even seemingly impossible.  I Am pleased with you.
Keep holding to My Word and overcome the battle for I Am with you and will not leave you
to more than you can bear."

And then to others, He might give you an assignment.  He may say," Follow my leading
and take a risk. Try this direction and walk with Me toward a new horizon."

We serve a God Who has spoken throughout history, Who still speaks Today and wants
to speak to us.   Let us hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to speak to us in this Issue.

Greater Works shall you do...

There are two very important aspects of the New Testament of which we need to
    examine.
First, are the physical and spiritual events and principles that apply to the
ministry of Christ before the Cross and the second are the physical and spiritual events
and principles that apply to the ministry of Christ after the resurrection and His enthronement.
This is a very comprehensive study and we will only be able to address the aspects that deal
with what enables the Church to do the Greater Works as the Lord charged the apostles and
believers to do.   First you must believe that the Lord is sovereign in His authority and power,
Today.  He is alive and King of the Kingdom of God, Today!  The provisions He made during
His 40 days after the resurrection are still valid for you and me to experience, Today.
The Lord has not rescinded any of the provisions He made for the church for it to accomplish
it's earthly mission:  All nations are to be brought to the saving knowledge of Christ that the
glory of God covers the earth as the waters cover the seas.  The Holy Spirit without measure
has been given to the Church to accomplish its mission just as it was given to the Lord Jesus
to accomplish His ministry mission of 3 1/2 years concluding with His death on the Cross and
    victory of Life eternal.
    John 3:34  AMP
34 For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaims God's own
message], God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is
     the gift
God makes of His Spirit!

Note: This passage is referring to Christ.  Each time (He & Him) is used in this passage,
it is not to man (he), but identifies and addresses the Lord.  As we dig deeper into the
scriptures we are instructed that the Church is the Body of Christ.  Christ is the Head
and the Church is the Body. The New Creation is the spirit-man Jesus Christ in full glory.
The Church has received His anointing through the working Presence of the Holy Spirit.

   Matt 28:18-20  AMP
18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule)
in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold,
I am with you all the days ( perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very]
close and consummation of the age.Amen

This commission is given to the disciples after the Cross and before Christ's ascension
and inauguration as King.  Once the Lord is crowned and installed on the throne of David,
all things are credited to Father God's glorification of Him and entering the church is through
His Name only.  This does not negate the Father and the Holy Spirit.
His Name represents everything He is.  He is the crowned King of Glory administrating all
things in heaven and earth on behalf of the Father, for the Father and the Son are one in
    purpose, will, and principles.
In the Name of Jesus presents all that I AM... Jehovah God has given to Him....
a name above every name in heaven and in earth.
    John 14:14   AMP
[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name
[as presenting all that I AM]

Yet, the Father is greater than the Son for Jesus returned to the Father to rule and reign
at His right hand.  In the same manner, Christ has given the church the bountiful measure
of the Holy Spirit who administrates the gifts-works of heaven in and through Spiritual Israel.

     Hebrews 1:8-12  AMP
8 But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever
(to the ages of the ages), and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of absolute
     righteousness (of justice and straightforwardness).

9 You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness
in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity).
Therefore God, [even] Your God ( Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy
and gladness above and beyond Your companions.

     Ps 45:6-7  AMP
6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter
     of Your kingdom.
     7 You love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness;
therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.
Note:  Scepter represents authority and power of a king.

Father God sent His Son in the flesh to reveal the Kingdom and His love for mankind.
He planned before the foundations of the world and today demonstrates His Son's eternal
Kingship upon the throne of David as promised to King David and confirmed in the preaching
of the Good News proclaimed by Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul.
(See Acts 2 and and Acts 13 and observe that Peter and Paul preach the same Gospel.)

The Church of whom Jesus Christ is the Head began in the same manner as the ministry
of the Lord Jesus at the River Jordan when He was baptized into John's baptism.
(Water baptism to cleanse Israel's sins through repentance and fulfill the Old Testament
    prophets
decrees of righteousness... Matthew 3:13-17).
    The Lord was empowered and
anointed when the Holy Spirit came upon Him as a dove
for serving God the Father and men through teaching, preaching and demonstration of
the Kingdom of God.  (See Isaiah  61:1-3)

    Luke 3:21-23  AMP
21 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized,
and [while He was still] praying, the [visible] heaven was opened
22 And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came
from heaven, saying, You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am well pleased and find delight!
23 Jesus Himself, when He began [His ministry], was about thirty years of age,
(being the Son, of God)...not the son of Joseph as men thought.

John the baptist, the last prophet of the nation of Israel declared the coming of Christ,
the Anointed One, and decreed that to which disciples could look to occur.

Luke 3:15-17
AMP
15 As the people were in suspense and waiting expectantly, and everybody reasoned
    and
questioned in their hearts concerning John, whether he perhaps might be the Christ
    (the Messiah, the Anointed one).
16 John answered them all by saying, I baptize you with water; but He Who is mightier
    than I is
coming, the strap of Whose sandals I am not fit to unfasten. He will baptize you
    with the Holy
Spirit and with fire.
17 His winnowing shovel (fork) is in His hand to thoroughly clear and cleanse His [threshing]
floor and to gather the wheat and store it in His granary, but the chaff He will burn with fire
    that
cannot be extinguished.
Note:  This prophetic word of verse 16 points to the baptism of the Holy Ghost after the
enthronement of the Lord's Kingship and verse 17 foretells the gathering of the
remnant church (the wheat) who received and followed the the Lord Jesus, believing
Him to be the Son of God, the Christ, promised to save Israel and identifies those who
denied Him and persecuted Him...  the chaff were cleared and cleansed by the Roman
and Edomite armies as they began to destroy Jerusalem in 67 AD and burned Jerusalem
               in 70 AD.
The judgment and Desolation of Abomination was sent upon apostate Israel.
The study of Matthew chapter 24 is an exciting revealing of the things Jesus told the
disciples in regard to what John the Baptist just declared in Luke chapter 3 above.
The Lord Jesus declared that all He was telling them would happen within their own
generation and that the then known world which was the Roman Empire would have
the Gospel preached to it before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
The end of apostate Israel, was the end of the administration of the Law of Moses
through blood sacrifices of animals in earthly temple worship.

               Matt 24:14-15
AMP
14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout
               the
whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.
15 So when you see the appalling sacrilege [the abomination that astonishes and
               makes
desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place--
               let the reader
take notice and ponder and consider and heed [this]--
               [Dan 9:27; 11:31; 12:11.

(Matt 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass,
               till all these things be
fulfilled.
KJV)

The  Abomination of Desolation would bring total judgment upon the apostate
nation of Israel.  It would be the end of an age and make way for the New Creation,
spiritual Israel, where both Jew and Gentile would become One Holy nation,
              New Jerusalem, the Church age.
We need to study the Jewish mission of the Apostles of the Lamb and contrast
it with the Gentile mission of the ascension-gift apostles to receive a clear
understanding of the fulfillment of the church's role from the period of Christ's
ascension up to and including the events of the destruction of Jerusalem.
Such study will also bring clarity to the book of Revelation, its purpose, timing
              and poetic and descriptive language.

Within the time frame of Christ's resurrection to the destruction of Jerusalem 70AD,
the church was formed, empowered and scattered to reach all the then known nations
with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Both the Jewish mission and the Gentile
mission were working to take the Gospel to the nations.  The Gentile mission was
initiated with Paul 18 years after the Day of Pentecost.
The New Testament is rich in the Acts and history of the first disciples
experiences
both in the miraculous and in persecution.  Jesus instructed and entrusted the building
of the church to the Apostles of the Lamb and to the 1st century ascension-gift apostles
and 5-fold ministers.   Again, He has never rescinded the way in which He builds the
church.  He has not changed His plan we see in the 1st century church to a new plan
for the 21st century church.  The church is to be built upon the pattern of the Son.
It takes power to do the Greater Works of the great commission...  that is why  the Holy
Spirit is sent...  to endue with power.  Every great revival in history reveals the working
power of the Holy Ghost!  God is releasing His Greater Works power to those who seek
more of the Holy Spirit desiring to do the Greater Works proclaimed by the Lord.
Greater Works requires the wisdom, knowledge and understanding only available
through the Word of God and the Person, Holy Ghost.

Zech 4:6
NKJV
'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,'
   Says the LORD of hosts.

Might represents physical abilities, power represents the abilities of the mind through
determination... God's Spirit is the administrating Person of the Triune Godhead of all power
and authority.  Power and authority is vested in the kingship of Christ Jesus who sits at the
right hand of the Father (the source of all power and authority). Father God sent His Spirit upon
His Son.  Upon inauguration, the Father poured out the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit upon His
Son and the book of Acts records this awesome event in fulfillment as revealed to the prophet
Joel 700 years before the event!

In John 14:12, The Lord Jesus proclaimed...
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
if anyone steadfastly believes in Me,

   he will himself be able to do the things that I do;
and he will do even greater things than these,

because I go to the Father.

The Lord Jesus is preparing the Apostles of the Lamb and the believing disciples for His return
to the Father's right hand (position of all authority and power) where the scriptures reveal He
is received in the ascension and inaugurated as King on the Day of Pentecost just 10 days from
the day He instructed them to go and wait for the promise of the Holy Ghost.
   John 14:18-20
AMP
   18 I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless];
I will come [back] to you.
   19 Just a little while now, and the world will not see Me any more, but you will see Me;
because I live, you will live also.
20 At that time [when that day comes] you will know [for yourselves] that I am in My Father,
and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you.

Read the passages of Acts 2:14-36 and you will see for yourself how Jesus Christ fulfills

John 14:18-20... hear the prophetic voice of the Holy Spirit as He anoints John to record these
events and then anoints Luke to record the events of the Day of Pentecost in the book of Acts.
The Godhead is one acting in three persons to perform the plans and purposes of the Father's
Will.  You are invited and encouraged to seek the work of the Blessed Trinity.

At this juncture in our newsletter, it is important that each of us ponder our personal path
as to how we have been influenced to formulate our foundation of faith... that which we
believe, practice and hold as doctrinal "light of truth."  Has it been a path of hearing and
believing that which has been "feed" to us and being convinced that the church with which
we are members or affiliated has the answers to the richness of the Kingdom?
Or, have we put our "shoulders to the plow", seeking the illumination of the Holy Spirit and
searching the Scriptures for ourselves asking the following kinds of questions?

●  What does the passage tell us about Jesus Christ?

●  Why is the "account" told in a particular way?

●  Why is a particular word or phrase repeated several times? (How many times?)

●  What does a particular "account/story" have in common with other biblical "accounts/stories?"

●  How does the "account/'story" differ with others?

●  How do minor incidents fit in the Book compared to other Books of the Bible?

●  Why does the text draw our attention to seemingly unimportant details?

●  What literary styles such as metaphors, satire, drama, comedy/humor, allegories, and poetry
does the author use?  What imagery does it reveal?

●  Why does the Book switch some "stories/accounts" from a strict chronological account
placing the path of events out of order?

●  How are the various books and the topics and "stories" related to the larger "Story"
of Father God's Son, Jesus Christ and the revelation of His Covenants to us?
    ●  What does each Book and account have to do with our salvation?
    ●  Why did God give us this information?
    ●  To whom and what purposes were the Books with their accounts/stories given?

Let us return now to the instructions of the Lord to His disciples at the end of His 40 days
after the resurrection and just prior to His ascension... They were instructed to go to Jerusalem
and wait upon the promise of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  God is eternal and therefore we
have the same privilege to seek the Lord for His promise of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Also the prophetic word of Joel confirms the promise to each who desires the gift, Today!
   Acts 2:17-21
AMP
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon
all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels]
and your young men shall see visions ( divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall
    dream [divinely suggested] dreams.
18 Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of
My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events
    pertaining especially to God's kingdom].
19 And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire
    and
smoking vapor;
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the obvious
    day of the
Lord comes--that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day].

The Day of the Lord was the Day the Lord came on the clouds of judgment executed
through the Rome army to destroy Jerusalem and fulfill the prophesies given from Moses,
the prophets and the Lord Jesus (which covered many centuries.)  The army came
unexpected with great strength and fervor to kill, steal and destroy the city and its occupants.
The protecting cover of God was lifted because apostate Israel had rejected Father God's gift
    of salvation,
and killed His Son Jesus Christ, the promised savior and King of the Jews.

Beginning with Moses, the prophets declared Him as Savior and ruler of God's chosen nation.
    Exodus 15:16-17
16 Terror and dread fall upon them; because of the greatness of Your arm they are as still as
a stone--till Your people pass by and over [into Canaan], O Lord, till the people pass by whom
    You have purchased.
Note: Canaan is the promised land of abundance.  Spiritually, it is the promised land of
Spiritual Israel, Zion, the Holy nation, the New Jerusalem were God has established His
tabernacle...The Holy Spirit abides within His people of Mount Zion, the temple of God.
Moses saw the destruction of Israel and the gathering of the remnant of believers.
One hundred twenty were followers whom had not as yet been scattered and were instructed
to wait upon the empowerment of the Holy Ghost.
Remember that the scriptures record 70 who were sent out and also those who deserted
the Lord when he told them they would have to eat of His flesh and drink of His blood.
They were not able to discern the spiritual meaning of the Lord's poetic imagery.
His flesh is the Bread...the Word of God made flesh,  The Life is in the Blood of Christ...
representing the Law of the Spirit. Read Romans chapter 10 for a comprehensive study
of Life in the Blood, the New Wine of the New Covenant (the Life in the Spirit).

     Matt 26:27-29
KJV
     And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when
I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Note:  What a powerful declaration...  can you see that the Lord Jesus was proclaiming the
the Day of initiation as King of the Kingdom?  The Day of Pentecost is the inauguration
of the church, the day the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the Lord as well!
It is the witness to the initiation of Messiah's Day which shall continue until the coming
of the Lord for His church.  It is a Day that covers centuries for it is the Living Christ who
is the eternal reigning King.  Father God closed out the age of Moses, destroyed the
                temple of Jerusalem,
the center for temple worship, and inaugurated the age of the
Church in the anointing of His King now seated on the eternal throne of David.
He moved the control of the church to heaven where plans of men or evil spirits
cannot destroy it.   The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.

Those who enter the door of heaven through the Way, Truth and Life of Jesus Christ
are added to the Heavenly General Assembly and their names are recorded in the
                Book of Life.

In order to do Greater Works, we must have the perspective of God's Word in spirit and in
truth. The following will cause many to be stirred because of the doctrines that are taught in
many churches based upon "rapture theology" that is based on improper timing and lack
of "rightly dividing" the word of truth basing belief systems upon presuppositions rather than
      what the Word reveals.
Truth: we must learn to relate to physical laws and the laws of God.
We must be able to understand the Law of the Spirit and walk in Him.

We must be faithful to God's system of doctrine taught in the Bible not our own.
reading the Bible with theological eyes ( theo=God, ology=study, eyes= understanding)
in systematic and historical perspective.  God is a God of Order.  We must keep in mind that
the symbols used in the Bible are not isolated... they are a part of God's system of symbolism
beginning with Genesis 1:2.  The whole of the Bible is an architecture of imagery in which all
      the parts fit together.

Apostle Paul catches this revelation in his discussion of the Jesus Christ being the eternal
spiritual Head and the church being the Body of the His image where in each redeemed
person is a part of the whole!
      Ephesians 4:15-16  AMP
Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living
truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head,
[even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed one).

16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined
and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part
[with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity,
      building itself up in love.

We of Heart of God Ministries International look forward to a future, glorious, public, physical
return of Christ the begotten Son of God that will conclude temporal history and bring to
      fulfillment all remaining
aspects of Biblical prophecy.
We do not support the spirtualization of all of the Bible.
We do not support a literal interpretation of the poetic and spiritual passages.
We do believe in those passages that are literal as evidenced by witness and historical
accounts.  We believe in the accountings of spiritual experiences.
Importantly, they must be rightfully divided per other passages and criteria such as to whom
they were written in the original text.  We also search the original languages for the root
meanings of words and compare them to both Hebrew and Greek definitions to obtain the
intent of the passage.  The Amplified Bible translation is written upon this manner.

The prophets of old expressed poetic symbolism in there writings.
The Lord Jesus used symbolism and parables in His ministry. The book of Revelation is a
record of spiritual experiences that John encountered.   Trances and visitations into the 3rd
heaven are supernatural and are challenging to both record and interpret.  John was instructed
to write what he experienced in the trance.  We can observe he was a student of the Old
Testament and we can observe how the Holy Spirit brought passages of prophetic insight and
significance to light in the writings.  The Old Testament was the "Bible" of the Jews.
It was read faithfully in the synagogues.  We see the demonstration of this in
Luke 4:16-21:
(This is an example of "literal" as by witness and historical.)
16 So He came to Nazareth, [that Nazareth] where He had been brought up, and He entered
the synagogue, as was His custom on the Sabbath day. And He stood up to read.
17 And there was handed to Him [the roll of] the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened
(unrolled) the book and found the place where it was written, [Isa 61:1,2.]
18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed one,
the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce
release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who
are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],
19 To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the
free favors of God profusely abound.]  [Isa 61:1,2.]
20 Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes
of all in the synagogue were gazing [attentively] at Him.
21 And He began to speak to them: Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are
     present and hearing.

That those who read this Issue of the Prophetic Voice Newsletter may better understand the
Greater Works message whose golden threads of truth transverse the Scriptures presented
as witness and support of the light contained within them, we share the following:

1, We hold that the "great tribulation" has already occurred coming to pass in the
1st century (Have you ever read the historical account of Josephus of the destruction
                  of Jerusalem
and all the events surrounding the siege of the city by the Roman army?)
The events of Matthew 24 will take on a clarity and you will receive enlightenment
of the words Jesus spoke to His soon to become apostles as He relates the things
"that shall come to pass in their generation."  The Jewish mission is behind the church,
not ahead of it awaiting some temporal throne where Jesus is going to rule the earth.

                2. We hold upon the passages of Matthew 24 that these scriptures punctuate the end
of God's focus on exaltation of the nation of Israel.  We do not believe God has taken
protection off His natural nation Israel... we believe that Christ Jesus is currently ruling
                   and reigning
as King and that God is not going to reestablish a temporal throne on the
                   earth.
God has already built
the replacement center of worship with "His Hands"
                   (the Holy Spirit).

Exodus 15:17   AMP     (Prophetic decree of Moses in song...)
You will bring them in [to the land] and plant them on Your own mountain, the place,
O Lord, You have made for Your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands
                   have established.

                   1 Corinthians 3:17  AMP
If anyone does hurt to God's temple or corrupts it [with false doctrines] or destroys it,
God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him.
For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [the believing
church and its individual believers] are.

                   1
Corinthians 6:19-20  AMP
Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit
Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God?
                   You are not your own,
20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for,
made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.

               3. We hold that the prophecies of the "Olivet Discourse" of the Lord Jesus with His
disciples on the mount of Olives occurring just after they had left the gate of the temple
in the City of Jerusalem and clearly viewing the city from the Mount defines the
beginning of the New Covenant era in God's plan for all mankind [Jews and Gentiles].

                   Matthew 24:1-3
AMP
Jesus departed from the temple area and was going on His way when His disciples
came up to Him to call His attention to the buildings of the temple and point them out
                  to Him.
2 But He answered them, Do you see all these? Truly I tell you, there will not be left
here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.
3 While He was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately
and said, Tell us, when will this take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming
and of the end (the completion, the consummation) of the age?

                 Ephesians 2:13-16  AMP
But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood
of Christ have been brought near.
14 For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both
[Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile
                dividing wall between us,
15 By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its
decrees and ordinances [which He annulled]; that He from the two might create in
Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace.
16 And [He designed] to reconcile to God both [Jew and Gentile, united] in a single
body by means of His cross, thereby killing the mutual enmity and bringing the feud
                to an end.

              4. We hold that the "Tribulation" judgments are concentrated in local events surrounding
ancient Jerusalem, also impacting the eventual demise of the Roman Empire.
God documented the course of history and the fall of Rome through many writers.
We can gain a comprehensive historical account of the events that led to their
fall.  Many prophetic writings are recorded in Daniel, other prophets and the book
of Revelation.   (Obtain book: "Days of Vengeance" by David Chilton)

              5. We hold that the "Tribulation" judgments are governed by Christ as a direct
demonstration of His judgment against apostate Israel, giving evidence that He
                  is in heaven controlling nations.
                  Revelation 15:3
And they sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb,
saying, Mighty and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God the omnipotent!
Righteous (just) and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the ages (King of the nations)!
                  [See Exodus 15:1; Psalm 145:17.]
The apostles saw Jesus as the Ruling King!  They were not looking for a Christ that
would reign someday.  They studied and believed the Holy writ of the prophets of old.
Jesus is already king!  He is not waiting to come down upon Mount of Olives to literally
split the the valley and set up a physical throne in Jerusalem and restore that which
is not the will of the Father.

                  Christ has fulfilled all things!

Revelation 15:4
4 Who shall not reverence and glorify Your name, O Lord [giving You honor and
praise in worship]? For You only are holy. All the nations shall come and pay homage
and adoration to You, for Your just judgments (Your righteous sentences and deeds)
have been made known and displayed. [Ps 86:9,10; Jer 10:7.]

This prophesy of the nations paying homage has been fulfilled...  The allotments around the
world in each nation come in rank and file as the "day dawns" each nation according to the
times of scheduled worship and fellowship in the spirit before the King to worship, praise,
break the bread of Life (Word of God), partake of His "Flesh and Blood" through the
sacraments and to join in corporate prayer and Body ministry.

The above 5 points are shared that you may better understand the dynamic placement
of the Church on the earth for this Day!  We are not living in the generation to whom the Lord
Jesus spoke the Olivet Discourse.  That generation was the first century in which the disciples
lived.  We live in the 21st century.  The Apostles of the Lamb (the Jewish mission) and the
Apostle Paul (the gentile mission) finished the charge to preach the Good News to all the
nations.  They did not fail to accomplish the charge and assignment upon their generation.
     They were victorious!

     Matthew 24:34
AMP
Truly I tell you, this generation ( the whole multitude of people living at the same time,
in a definite, given period) will not pass away till all these things taken together take place.

Again, you are encouraged to read the accounts of the Greek writer, Josephus, who
documented the years of which Jerusalem was under siege.   You will see the Matthew 24
Olivet discourse open to your understanding in great detail just as the Lord Jesus told the
disciples things would happen within their generation.   It was the Great Tribulation that the
Lord spoke would come upon the earth in their lifetime.  The Lord was focused on apostate
Israel and the end of the Mosaic age as He answered the disciples questions.  He was not
focused on some future century and world holocaust prophesying abolishment of the planet
earth.   He used descriptive phrases of many of the Old Testament prophets.
Check it out. You will be wonderfully enlightened and made free of the "money machine"
generated through promotion of fear as false prophets continue to set a date of 'rapture' and
and proclaim a holocaust and planet earth tribulation disintegration.  Dig into the texts and
words.  Observe the places in the Bible that predict holocaust events and discover what was
being said as the history of the Bible reveals.

We have taken a path to experience worship through discovery of Truth.
Now let us dive back into the topic of doing Greater Works as it pertains to the Spirit.

There are many who doubt in their hearts and minds that the baptism is for believers, Today!
Yet, the Lord is very specific as to the principles of faith and believing.
    Matt 21:20-22
NKJV
The Lesson of the Withered Fig Tree  (See Mark 11:20-24)

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither away so
     soon?"
21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not
doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain,
'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done.22 And whatever things you ask in prayer,
     believing, you will receive."

These passages present the spiritual principles for doing Greater Works.
It takes faith to initiate the promises of God for our lives.
If you have not sought the Lord for His blessing of the baptism of the Holy Spirit...
Begin to seek Him and ask the Father for the Holy Spirit to baptize you giving you the sign of
the baptism which is the manifestation of tongues..  Begin to read the scriptures that promise
the baptism to build your faith.

Here is God's promise to you...
     Acts 2:38-39
AMP
38 And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the
will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of
     you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins;
and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and
for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids
     to come to Himself.

The promise of the Holy Spirit is not the act of being born again by the Spirit.
It is a distinct baptism of the Holy Ghost to which the above scripture witnesses.
Here are two more scriptures to give us a 3-fold witness...
      Acts 19:2-7
AMP
19:1 WHILE APOLLOS was in Corinth, Paul went through the upper inland districts and came
down to Ephesus. There he found some disciples.
2 And he asked them, Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed [on Jesus as the
Christ]? And they said, No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.
3 And he asked, Into what [baptism] then were you baptized? They said, Into John's baptism.
4 And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, continually telling the people
that they should believe in the one Who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus [having a
conviction full of joyful trust that He is Christ, the Messiah, and being obedient to Him].
5 On hearing this they were baptized [again, this time] in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And as Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke in
[foreign, unknown] tongues (languages) and prophesied.
7 There were about Twelve of them in all.

    1 Corinthians 14:2-4
AMP
2 For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one
understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and
hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].
3 But [on the other hand], the one who prophesies [who interprets the divine will and purpose
     in
inspired preaching and teaching] speaks to men for their upbuilding and constructive spiritual
     progress and encouragement and consolation.
4 He who speaks in a [strange] tongue edifies and improves himself, but he who prophesies
[interpreting the divine will and purpose and teaching with inspiration] edifies and improves the
church and promotes growth [in Christian wisdom, piety, holiness, and happiness].

     1 Corinthians 14:39
AMP
39 So [to conclude], my brethren, earnestly desire and set your hearts on prophesying
(on being inspired to preach and teach and to interpret God's will and purpose), and do not
forbid or hinder speaking in [unknown] tongues.

Let us bring this part of our study of Greater Works to bear witness of the Will of the Lord
for His people.  The Bible declares that we worship God in spirit and in truth.  We see above
that one who speaks in an (unknown) tongue speaks to God.

The Holy Spirit has been poured out of heaven as we have seen in the prophesies of Joel and
the event of the Day of Pentecost  (See the study Being Extraordinary

If you believe the following scripture and have experienced a valid initiation into the Kingdom
of Heaven, the baptism can be yours as well.  Seekers who participate in Holy Ghost meetings
do so with great expectation of a visitation of God and many times He pours out the baptism on
      those assembled.
      Acts 2:33
AMP
3 Being therefore lifted high by and to the right hand of God, and having received from the
Father the promised [blessing which is the] Holy Spirit, He has made this outpouring which
you yourselves both see and hear.

The cloven tongues of fire were a manifested dynamic of the Holy Spirit's presence.
The tongues were not the Holy Spirit.  He is not a "word."  He administrates the gifts of the
Spirit such as the "word of wisdom" and the "word of knowledge" as He speaks to us.
He has a voice and it can be heard throughout the whole Bible.  He manifests as spiritual
Wind, Clouds, Water, Oil, Fire, and Rain...  His gifts are varied and given for exercise through
the church as He administrates them.  He is not the anointing, His presence anoints us for the
works of the ministry.  When we have the abiding works of the Holy Spirit, all things are
possible with God... only we must believe the Scriptures.  Greater Works are achieved
by His power... the authority of the blood of Jesus and the Name of Jesus as directed by
the Holy Spirit.  We do nothing in spiritual applications in our own might and power.
We yield to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to use us in impartation of the gifts upon another
vessel.  It is He Who administers the gifts and many times, He does it in an atmosphere of
our worship.  God is not limited as to what He can do nor as to when He may act.
By His Spirit, the Lord promises to do Greater Works as we abide in Him.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal in the Godhead.   He is not to be neglected .
      (See the study Blessed Trinity)

     John 14: 13-14,16
AMP
13 And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM],
so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. [Ex 3:14.]

14[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting
      all that I AM]

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper,
Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever--

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because
it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives
with you [constantly] and will be in you.

The Holy Spirit is a person of God. He ministers as a person in a personal way.
He is not an it, not a wind, not tongues or power.  He is a Person with a personality.
He demonstrates emotions.  He is the Person sent to represent the Lord Jesus in us.
As the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Truth, His presence releases spiritual anointing.

In Christ through the abiding Holy Spirit, we do Greater Works!

His presence manifests physical dynamics of the spiritual works of signs, wonders, miracles,
   gifts, revelation, illumination, and enlightenment.
He reveals Christ to mankind through His presence, the anointing "oil."

Next Issue,  we will examine the foundations of truth about the Book of Revelation and discuss
its  focus on the 1st century church as a contemporary exposition of Jesus the Christ and not
a book for predicting the end of a distance future.   How many times have men declared the
end of the world?  We must have the Bible's perspective on "the end of all things."

Daniel was instructed to "conceal the words and seal up the book until "the end." (Daniel 12:4)
His book referred to an "end' in the distance future.
Apostle John is told not to seal up his prophecy because the time of which it speaks is near.
(Near is not 2000 years, near was 70 AD, the absolute end of the apostate worship of ancient
Israel.)  Revelation was written to show the early Christians that Jesus is Lord and God's
   sovereignty over all.

  One last comment:
Overlaying the whole Bible and especially within the Book of Revelation is the theme of the
dominion provisions God gave man (first Adam lost /second Adam restored).
God made covenant provisions to both Natural Israel and Spiritual Israel...  "the Bride Groom
and the people of God, His Bride."

God is faithful to His commandments. He gave the Old and the New.
Let us seek His kingdom and His righteousness.
