As
I
awaken
in this moment of
today,
LORD GOD,
I thank You
for planting me
in Your Garden of
Life.
As I emerge in this soil
I wait for Your
presence
to refresh me in this
new day,
to give to me light,
water,
and
food
to be strong to produce 
the fruit
you have called
to be developed
in my life.
It is
with You
that everything about me
prospers
and that I will
produce fruit
with good seed that can
travel
wherever You send it to
and that seed will also
produce
good fruit and bring an
increase
for
Your Kingdom and glorify
Your Name in all the
earth.
As a
child
there
is
something
very special about entering
into the house of God
There
is
a great
wonder with a keen sense of
vastness,
an excitement and joy in the house of God, that
makes
you
want
to
dance
and run about.
Upon a summer vacation visit to
a church with my
grandmother, I watched several ladies dust
and clean the church
building with a great love for the house. They did all
their work with a
tender spirit and loving
kindness. Today, it
has been refreshed in my memory, and I have to
look introspectively at
the house God gave me to honor and respect.
Through many years of abuse of sorts,
my body has not been given the care and love
due a house of God.
It has been subjected to demanding
desires, and pleasures of gluttony,
and even had to endure sitting for
hours looking at pictures and
hearing words
found even in daily newscasting and
other family hour television programming
that do not agree
with
walking in a
covenant relationship with God,
giving honor due to the house of
God.
This has been a life lived in
the world that does not love God as my heart is longing for.
I must choose to part from the
company
that has held me captive
by it's enticements
and separate myself
from the cares of the world
to enter into an open
invitation
to live with the love of
my life and
to grow more intimate with Him daily!
I've been asking God, to
know more of His love.
As a child I would sing, and
still do from time to time,
Jesus loves me, because the Bible tells me so.
I believe this is true,
and I believe all that the Bible tells me.
The WORD of GOD tells
me
that I am the temple of God,
that He abides in me, and I abide in
Christ Jesus.
Today I was considering
the power of a great storm, or a wave of
the ocean that comes ashore
and brings with it much power that floods and moves everything in it's
path. I considered that
the love of God for His creation is even more
powerful than any storm I could imagine.
Just to think the thought of a
love so great causes me to be so still
in a moment and holds my
breath, causing my heart to be heard within
me, knowing it's a great and mighty love.
With a love like this, I can
change and give this holy house of
God honor and respect.
I will agree with Heaven,
and speak of
His faithfulness
to continue to provide everything to
worship Him.
His goodness gives me strength to
find joy
in trusting Him for all
He created me to be,
bringing Him great pleasure by my obedience to His
will.
Just think about how good it is
to serve such a wonderful God! Remember the excitement and
joy of a child released to dance and run in His house, then release yourself
to enjoy Him!
Within
each man is a place in his heart that God created for Him
only. Without God there is
a void within the heart of a man, only God can complete the heart
of man and fill this appointed
place of meeting with God.
God created man in His image for His good pleasure, and as we
enter into a Divine relationship
with God through His Son, Christ Jesus, by the way of Jesus
Christ, then we are vessels
prepared for His purposes.
God is a communicator! He gives us Life to speak, and it is
from a Divine relationship with God
that we speak from the heart of God. It is not our mind
that we follow, but the Spirit of God,
and as we speak Life, then our mind follows this path of Life.
He purposed that we would be His abiding place, a secret place
within each man's heart where
He meets with us and speaks within us His Word. This is a place
of yielding, that we bow in
prayer and fellowship with God.
