John 1:14 (AMP)
14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually]
saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father,
[the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and
     truth (absolutely free of deception).

Through the web pages of regardless of your age or circumstances, you will

to His favor and grace upon you.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down
    from the Father of Lights!

James 1:17 (NKJV) In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

    John 1:5 (AMP)
While you have the Light, believe in the Light [have faith in it, hold to it,
rely on it], that you may become sons of the Light and be filled with Light.

    John 12:36a (AMP)
36 While you have the Light, believe and trust in the Light [have faith in it,
hold on to it, rely on it], so that you may become sons of Light [being filled
with Light as followers of God].”

Did you know Light is referenced 263 times in the King James Version Bible?

God is both Transcendent (possesses greatness & power) and Immanent
(demonstrates nearness & presence)! He presents His Love to the world through
the work of His Son and commands mankind to receive Him or experience His wrath.

He is the originator; The Covenant Maker! Many do not understand covenant.
It is very necessary that we do not negate or "stick our heads in the sand"
in regard to the full council of God.

It is also very important that we do not believe every "wind of doctrine."
The contemporary church is weak because it has received false teaching

within the past 200 hundred years and has grown complacent to study the
    scriptures without false presuppositions.

There have been many major movements of God in which His sovereign power
was demonstrated by the Holy Ghost that have revealed the falsehoods of men
    made policies and practices!

Yet, men have turned from seeking Him for direction from the Lord
for the restoration of the Church of which Jesus Christ has destined to build.
The New Covenant (Jesus Christ) is alive and He has given His template
for building the church in the Canon of the New Testament!
As God desired to give mankind a full understanding of Himself, He always
presented His relationship as a Covenant Husband to a Bride.

As God desired to give mankind a full understanding of Himself,
He always presented His relationship as a Covenant Husband to a Bride.
This theme can be observed from Genesis through Revelation.
The best Book to observe the foundation of Covenant is in Deuteronomy.
Genesis gives us the "first mentioned principle" into the covenant caring,
keeping, protecting character of a faithful Husband.
We will see these traits as we progress in this study of His bride, Israel.

Let us begin to examine this theme and how it may be observed throughout
the full Canon of the Old and New Covenant.

God both gives Law and exercises Law in which to rule in Righteousness.
He is the One Who established the principles of Life and gave mankind the
command to exercise dominion over the earth.  In the creation, He made man
and woman and herein began administration of peace upon a world that had
been void, without form and was filled with darkness.
God made covenant with mankind from the very beginning.
He instructed them to care, keep and protect the garden and not to take of the
"tree of knowledge of good and evil (blessings and curses)."

In the administration of His creation, God established a legal and binding
agreement or treaty for His subjects.  As we grasp the significance of this
"peace treaty" we will be able to see the Triune God administrating dominion
both in heaven and earth and see that both good and evil are to be ruled,
and yes, judge over His created creation.
He made all things to His glory and His glory reflects His image as He fills
all things in heaven and earth.

Question? What was Adam male and Adam female to care, guard and keep?

They were to exercise the will of God in the earth. God had given them power
and a free will to exercise His commands. They were to protect the perfect
relationship in daily communion in God’s Presence.

What best describes their care, guard and keeping the Garden?
What Adam—male and female—were commanded to care (for), guard,
and keep was more than cultivated ground.

The Garden represented a God-ordered realm entrusted to humanity,
a place where God’s presence, God’s will, and human obedience existed
    in unhindered fellowship.

Genesis 2:15 (AMP) is especially significant:
"The LORD God took the man and settled him in the Garden of Eden
    to cultivate and keep it.”

The Hebrew words deepen the meaning. “Cultivate” (ʿābad) carries

the sense of working, serving, or ministering, while “keep” (šāmar) means
to guard, watch over, preserve, protect, and carefully maintain.

Thus, Adam was not merely the gardener of Eden; humanity was entrusted
with stewardship of what God had established.

* Guardians of God’s Divine Order

They were to serve what God had established, guard what God had entrusted,
and preserve the order God had spoken into being. Their dominion was never
    independent authority.

It was delegated authority exercised under God's authority.

Genesis 1:26–28 establishes that they were given dominion,

but Genesis 2:16–17 establishes the boundary: their authority remained

subject to the Word of God.

Genesis 1:26-28 (AMP)
26 Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image,
according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral
likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea,
the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything
that creeps and crawls on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image,
in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female
He created them. 28 And God blessed them [granting them certain authority]
and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it
[putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea,
the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

Genesis 2:16-17 (AMP)
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may freely
(unconditionally) eat [the fruit] from every tree of the garden; 17 but [only]
from the tree of the knowledge (recognition) of good and evil you shall not eat,
otherwise on the day that you eat from it, you shall most certainly die
    [because of your disobedience.

This makes the command to “keep” the Garden particularly profound.
They were guarding not merely trees, plants, and geographical territory,
but the sanctity of communion with God and obedience to His revealed will.

The serpent's intrusion therefore challenged precisely what Adam and Eve
    had been entrusted to keep. The fundamental failure was not agricultural;
it was spiritual stewardship. Instead of guarding God's Word against
contradiction, they permitted another word to challenge what God had spoken.

There is also an important distinction concerning free will!
God gave them genuine capacity to choose, but their freedom was not authority
to redefine God's will. Their freedom gave meaningful expression to obedience.
They could willingly say, in effect: “What God has spoken shall govern what
    has been entrusted to us.”

So, we can summarize in this way:
Adam male and Adam female were appointed as stewards and guardians
of God's divine order upon the earth. They were to cultivate what God had given,
guard what God had established, preserve the sanctity of His Word, and exercise
delegated dominion in continual fellowship with His Presence.

Their keeping of the Garden was therefore more than caring for creation—
it was faithfully maintaining within their entrusted realm the will, order,

and purpose of God. And that makes Genesis 3 especially revealing:

the first attack upon humanity's dominion was an attack upon God's Word—
    “Has God really said...?”

The Garden was lost at precisely the point where the Word they were
commissioned to keep was no longer guarded!

From the beginning, Satan was a defeated foe.
He stole man's position of grace in the perfect state in the same manner
He stole the position of grace of 1/3 of the angels of heaven.
There was guile (fraud, treachery, deceit, cunning) in his mouth in
heaven and guile in his mouth in the Garden. He planted the seeds of guile
that manifested rebellion, a fruit of unrighteousness (evil) and resulted in
wrath, the judgment sentence of death to the angels and to mankind.
Adam and Eve suffered both spiritual and physical death in the covenant
judgment and lost the blessing of the dominion mandate.

Since the Lord Jesus has fulfilled all things, we need to be sensitive
of those things the Bible has declared and revealed.
How do we learn of the things He has revealed?
God honors His Word above His name doesn't He?

He honors His Son, the Word manifested in flesh, sinless and without guile

above all things!

Have you ever thought as to why the Holy Spirit had the word

"guile" penned?

1 Peter 2:22 (AMP)

22 He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips.

23 When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return;

[when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance];

but he trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly.

This declaration enables us to clearly see the contrast of righteousness
to unrighteousness.  We see the foundations built into the New Covenant:
of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Let us dig into our study and ask the question:  What does Covenant reveal?
[Note: The beauty of asking the proper questions is that the Holy Spirit will lead us
into the Word of God and shine His light upon it that we may receive the divine nuggets!

Have you prayed the "Lord's Prayer?
Is it simply something you do?
Do you pray it expecting to hear and see God answer the petition?
Do you believe what you pray?
Are you amenable to an open heaven demonstrated on earth?

The insights into Covenant are golden threads that weave through every
aspect of God's Word.  God's Covenants are legal and binding agreements
or treaties. He honors His Word!  Here is an example of God answering
the prayer that things be done in earth as they are in heaven.!

As we seek, we will find this pattern in heaven and earth.
Both heaven and earth are revealed in Covenant...  Covenant reveals:
    1.  An Identification of the One who rules...
the King or originator of the agreement.
    2.  The historical events that are the foundations and purposes
for which the covenant was established.
    3.  The conditions, stipulations, and terms for governance of the agreement..
         (
ie. The guide to citizenship or membership.)
    4.  The sanctions...spells out the warning or promise of judgment to offenders.
    5.  Succession... a system of reconfirming the treaty upon the death
of the originator, the ruler.  It specifies the provisions and administration
(mediator) of completing the judgments (blessings or curses) upon the
         subjects and future generations.

Covenant specifies the provisions and administration (mediator) of completing
the judgments (blessings or curses) upon the subjects and future generations.
(Note: For an in depth study of this pattern, written in his own unique style,
see Ray Sutton, “That You May Prosper: Dominion Covenant” free download):

The Holy Bible is a Book about covenants.
It is God's written revelation of Himself.
It was written to reveal God's love for mankind.
It takes into account the principles and actions of judgment
and His coming to us as the mediator, the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is the account of His relationship with both the physical church
of the wilderness and the spiritual church, the Body of Christ.

Without Covenant there would be no Biblical history.
Without Covenant there would be no need of Law.
                       Covenant gives meaning to Law.
Without Covenant there would be no need for prophets.
                       Covenant gives meaning to prophecy.

    Question?
How does prophecy give meaning to God's Covenants?
Biblical prophecy is the decree, declaration and proclamation
for evaluation of man's ethical actions toward God's Word of command
and promises.  Biblical prophecy is not "prediction" in the occult sense
of "seers" such as Nostradamus,  Edgar Cayce, and Jean Dixon.

Old Testament Prophets were God's legal emissaries to Israel and the
nations as "prosecuting attorneys" bringing announcement of God's
Covenant Lawsuit against the offenders of the Covenant.
They decreed a judgment message from God against the rebellious violators.
God administrates His wrath and vengeance according to the stipulations
    of the Covenant.

The Lord Jesus told the disciples on Mount of Olives what they could
expect to experience during their lifetime in the 24th chapter of Matthew.

He spoke about the desolation that would be sent to apostate Israel.
He also revealed the same to Apostle John in the Book of Revelation.
The Book of Revelation is a prophecy of Covenant.
It demonstrates wrath against apostate Israel which irrevocably turned
away from the Covenant in her total rejection of Christ.
It depicts other things we will study in later writings.

The Book of Revelation gives commandments to keep.
The 1st century saints were to heed its instructions.
Jesus had proclaimed to His disciples on Mount Olive the coming
of the Great Tribulation. The Lord Jesus instructs John to write and distribute
to the seven churches what (John) hears and sees coming upon them
that they may know He is alive, the King of kings and Lord of lords!

John warned that the time was near which emphasized the
contemporary relevance of the prophecy. He repeated the warning
at the end of the Book.

    Revelation  22:6-7 (AMP)

6 And he [of the seven angels further] said to me, These statements are

reliable (worthy of confidence) and genuine (true). And the Lord, the God

of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His messenger (angel) to make

known and exhibit to His servants what must soon come to pass.

7 And behold, I am coming speedily. Blessed (happy and to be envied) is

he who observes and lays to heart and keeps the truths of the prophecy

(the predictions, consolations, and warnings) contained in this [little] book.

Revelation 22:10 (AMP)

10 And he [further] told me, Do not seal up the words of the prophecy

of this book and make no secret of them, for the time when things are

brought to a crisis and the period of their fulfillment is near.

The ancient world,  A.D. 67-70, would soon be shook and kingdoms would
crumble to their foundation.  First century Christians needed the Revelation
John wrote of what he heard, saw and wrote of Jesus Christ on the Throne
ruling the nations.  It was to be a steady guide during the period of dramatic
    change which was to come.

The end of their known world was coming, the "Last Days" of the
Old World order, the governing of the world around the central sanctuary
in Jerusalem was to be destroyed in their generation.  God had established
a new nation, a new priesthood, a new humanity worshiping in the new
sanctuary... Spiritual Israel, New Jerusalem, Spiritual Mt. Zion,
    The New Heaven and Earth!!

The 1st century Christians needed this revelation knowledge of the Lord!

Ephesians 2:19-22 (AMP)

19 Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens,

excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with

the saints (God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself);

and you belong to God's [own] household.

20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with

Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.

21 In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together

harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple

in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence

of the Lord].

22 In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being

built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place)

of God in (by, through) the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:17b (AMP)

For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you

[the believing church and its individual believers] are.

1 Corinthians 6:19 (AMP)

19 Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the

Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God?

You are not your own,

The Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ, had ascended to the Throne of David and
the ungodly rulers of Israel were resisting His authority by persecuting His
brethren. The suffering of Christians was not a sign that the Lord had
deserted His followers nor abandoned the world to the devil.
In the contrary, their persecutions revealed that He was the Ruling King.
If the Lordship of Jesus Christ was historically meaningless, the ungodly
would not have had reason to pursue the Christians.  But instead, the hate
possessed Jewish leaders, persecuted those who responded to the Gospel
    and followed Christ.
The Jewish leaders continued to demonstrate their unwillingness to
recognize King Jesus' supremacy over their rule.

The holocaust of A.D. 70 was the restitution demanded for the theft
and slaughter of the Old Testament prophets,
the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus

Christ and the New Testament martyrs.  This A.D. 70 judgment took place
40 years after the ascension, enthronement and outpouring of the Holy Ghost!

The Covenant is spelled out in Deuteronomy 23 through 29 and in Leviticus.
You are encouraged to read them that they will demonstrate what
is being written here regarding the wrath and vengeance of God.
The Great Tribulation and the total destruction of Jerusalem was a legal
action against violation of the Covenant, a disclosed judgment that
    came upon Jerusalem A.D. 67 through A.D. 70.

Today's church has mostly delayed Christ's kingship also.
Many have barred the Holy Spirit from active participation in their services
which have been reduced to the letter of the law and man-made programs.
Many scores of believers, trapped as "futurists," and  "Doom Sayers"
presuppose Christ is going to "rapture" a weak church out of a coming
doom and holocaust and then return and set up an earthly throne.
They promote that... His kingdom and rule is in the future and as such it
cannot be the victorious and powerful church Jesus himself proclaimed!

    Matthew 16:18 (AMP)

...I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the

infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment

or hold out against it.]

The council of my Bible does not preclude "rapture," future establishment
of another throne, nor a defeated church.  My Bible records that Christians
since the 1st century are to be victorious on earth and have had the call
to rule and reign with the King, Jesus Christ seated in "heavenly places."

    Ephesians 2:6-8 (AMP)

6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together

[giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our

being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed one.)

7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come

the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace

(His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us

in Christ Jesus

8 For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved

(delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation)

through [your] faith.

And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came

not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

    Yes! God is Love.
    God is Faith.
    God is Good.
God is Merciful. God is powerful!

God is also a God of righteous indignation when mankind continues to
ignore the Scriptures and deny His Lordship and Kingship which has been
operational for 2000+ years.  God is waiting for His people to trust in Him
and yield to His pattern for building His Church and extending the Kingdom
    of Heaven throughout the earth!

What should we do with the following verses?
Should we cut them out of our Bibles?
Perhaps we should just ignore them if they do not fit into our  "theology."
Better yet, let's justify their value as nullified since we now have the New
Covenant!   Who needs the Old Testament?  Jesus set us free.
There is no condemnation.  I can do what I want!
The Law of Sin and Death is not in force anymore.

    BUT, what about this?

Nahum 1:2-3 (AMP)

2 The Lord is a jealous God and avenging; the Lord avenges and He is full

of wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries and reserves wrath

for His enemies.

3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power and will by no means clear

the guilty. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and

the clouds are the dust of His feet. [Ex 34:6,7.]

His coming in the clouds brings judgment and deliverance in history.
When we understand and study God's cloud, we see the revelation and
demonstration of His Throne. ( the seat of all power and authority)
    He is the King!
His Covenant provides that He comes to protect His people
    and destroy the wicked!
Salvation in Jesus Christ protects us from wrath and
    fulfills the New Covenant promises!

    Phil 1:19-23 (AMP)

19 For I am well assured and indeed know that through your prayers and

a bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) this will turn

out for my preservation (for the spiritual health and welfare of my own soul)

and avail toward the saving work of the Gospel.

20 This is in keeping with my own eager desire and persistent expectation

and hope, that I shall not disgrace myself nor be put to shame in anything;

but that with the utmost freedom of speech and unfailing courage, now as

always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and

praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether

through (by) life or through (by) death.

21 For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain

[the gain of the glory of eternity].

22 If, however, it is to be life in the flesh and I am to live on here, that means

fruitful service for me; so I can say nothing as to my personal preference

[I cannot choose],

23 But I am hard pressed between the two. My yearning desire is to depart

(to be free of this world, to set forth) and be with Christ, for that is far, far better;

He is the King!

Daniel 7:13-14 (KJV)

13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came

with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they

brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all

people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an

everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that

which shall not be destroyed.

Upon His ascension Jesus was made King!
Within 40 years, A.D. 70, the then known Roman world (both Jews and Gentiles)
had been delivered the message of the Kingdom that Jesus was Lord
and Christ seated on the throne of King David.
The New Covenant Church of Jew and Gentile (united in Christ) had been
established and the letters of the apostles of New Israel had been written.

The Lord came in consistent manner as depicted in the imagery of all
writers. He came in the Clouds as the Edomite and Roman army to destroy
the Old that the New would be established! God is the same.
The presence and activity of God in the Cloud was to the Egyptians a terrifying
omen of their destruction, but for the Covenant people, He was the Comforter
    and Savior.

John was translated into heaven that he might write the Book of Revelation
to be distributed to the seven churches and read to them that it give the saints
and leaders (elders) of the city churches composed of home allotments
    receive strength, hope and assurance.

The prophecy of the Revelation was sent for encouragement and edification
of the persecuted church. It was a document for the people of God
in that generation from their Comforter and Savior,
(the generation of the eye-witness disciples.)

It was not about missiles, atom bombs, spaceships, World War I,
World War II, Iran's build up of nuclear weapons, the terrorist attack on
America's World Trade Center or the radicalized Jihadist Saudi National's
destruction of the Twin Towers, etc.

Hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say to the Church...

Habakkuk hears the decree of the Lord and with poetic Old Testament
    imagery prophesies:

Habakkuk 3:10-13 (NKJV)

10 The mountains saw You and trembled;

The overflowing of the water passed by.

The deep uttered its voice,

And lifted its hands on high.

11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation;

At the light of Your arrows they went,

At the shining of Your glittering spear.

12 You marched through the land in indignation;

You trampled the nations in anger.

13 You went forth for the salvation of Your people,

For salvation with Your Anointed.

You struck the head from the house of the wicked,

By laying bare from foundation to neck.

God proclaimed through the prophets of the "last days" and the "end time"
that which was coming to His Covenant people, the Jewish nation.
[Note: The Son of Man came and also prophesied the end of the Old Covenant with
the coming destruction of Herod's temple the center of worship for all Jews.]

Matthew 24:1-2 (AMP)

24:1 JESUS DEPARTED from the temple area and was going on His way

when His disciples came up to Him to call His attention to the buildings

of the temple and point them out to Him.

2 But He answered them, Do you see all these? Truly I tell you, there will

not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.

Matthew 24:14-15 (AMP)
    1
4 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached

throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then

will come the end.

15 So when you see the appalling sacrilege [the abomination that

astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel,

standing in the Holy Place- -

let the reader take notice and ponder and consider and heed [this]--

[Dan 9:27; 11:31; 12:11.]

Matthew 24:32-34 (AMP)

32 From the fig tree learn this lesson: as soon as its young shoots

become soft and tender and it puts out its leaves, you know of a surety

that summer is near.

33 So also when you see these signs, all taken together, coming to pass,

you may know of a surety that He is near, at the very doors.

34 Truly I tell you, this generation (the whole multitude of people living

at the same time, in a definite, given period) will not pass away till all these

things taken together take place.

    Yes, God is Love.
    God is Faith.
    God is Good.
    God is Merciful.
The Lord Jesus came in the clouds to protect His Church!
God is powerful in His judgments.
God's Covenant agreements are Yes! and Amen (so be it!)

    Luke 11:9-10 (AMP)

9 So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you;

seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking

and the door shall be opened to you.

10 For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks

and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking,

the door shall be opened

May you be encouraged to continue to seek the nuggets of divine inspiration:
    Light of Truth
    Light of Life
    Light of the Spirit

May God richly bless and keep you!
