   The DIVINE HOLY TRINITY
Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit)

God dwelling eternally as One God in three Persons has inspired awe
and wonder in the hearts of man, enlightening, enriching and elevating
his view of Almighty God. (Hebrew: Adonia (אֲדֹנָי‬, lit. "My Lords")
is the plural form of adon ("lord") along with the first-person singular pronoun
enclitic  Adonai Yahweh.  As with Elohim, grammatical form is explained
     as a plural of majesty.)

It is the Light of Truth which has provoked worship and adoration
to the Blessed Trinity. This worship entails worship of the Godhead,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Ghost).
It is their own divine position as clearly demonstrated through the Old and
New Testament that these three are God in distinction of “Persons.”

Distinctive (distinction) defined means: "marking a difference."
”This is not to say we worship "each one of the three Persons
as three Gods or as separate Gods."
However, we can call upon each of the Godhead and address them
as a Person due to the divine qualities attributed to each of them.
As "One God,” they co-exist in Will, Plan and Purpose.
Each function in separate distinction of their observable recorded existence
and declarations on God's Holy Writ of Old and New Testaments.

We do not subscribe to the narrow doctrine One God being ‘Jesus Only.’
     The following study will confirm:
     ● Our Christian faith is in One God existing in three distinct Persons.
     ● We worship each as the Godhead; God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

[Note: in our study of the Blessed Trinity, we will reference and
cross reference various scriptures to prove without doubt that GOD
is Three Persons with distinct and unique character and actions
all working in harmony and unity to effectually and sovereignty accomplish
the Will, Plan and Purposes of eternal physical and spiritual realities.
This tri-unity of the Blessed Holy Trinity defines and exemplifies
the Only Living and Creative God of the universe both now and evermore!

There is a falsehood perpetuated in many evangelical circles preaching
and teaching a doctrine solely focused on "JESUS ONLY."
As a matter of history, there has always been a movement that actively works
to pervert the True Revelation of the Living God!
Rather than focusing only on the Son, our study comprehensively
demonstrates the Light of Truth of the Incarnate Son (in bodily form,
embodied in human form and Godhead bodily), and of the Father
and Holy Spirit ( Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Life, Spirit Presence of God).

The "Jesus Only" movement, also known as Oneness Pentecostalism
or oneness theology, teaches that there is only one God, but denies
the tri-unity of God. In other words, oneness theology does not recognize
the distinct persons of the Godhead:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It has various forms—
some see Jesus as the one God, who sometimes manifests Himself
as the Father or the Holy Spirit.

The core doctrine of Oneness Pentecostal / Jesus Only is that Jesus
is the Father and Jesus is the Spirit. Their belief is of one God
who reveals Himself in different "modes."
This teaching of the Jesus Only / Oneness Pentecostals has been around
for centuries, in one form or another, as modalism.

Modalism teaches that God operated in different forms or modes
at different times— sometimes as the Father, sometimes as the Son,
and sometimes as the Holy Spirit.
But passages like Matthew 3:16-17, where two or all three Persons
of the Godhead are present, contradict the modalistic view.
Modalism was condemned as heretical as early as the second century A.D.

     Matthew 3:16-17 (AMP)
     16 And when Jesus was baptized, He went up at once out of the water;
and behold, the heavens were opened, and he [John] saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove and alighting on Him.
17 And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My Son, My Beloved,
     in Whom I delight!

The early church strongly contended against the view that God
is strictly a singular person who acted in different forms at different times.
[Note:  The "Jesus Only" New age movement attempts to negate scripture
relating to the Law of the Spirit! Their doctrine teaches the Holy Spirit
is considered an "it" rather than "He."
Distinction of the 3 Persons of the Trinity is not taught.

We shall LEAN on the Scriptures to Lead us into the LIGHT of TRUTH...
precept by precept in our study of God... the Blessed Divine Holy Trinity.]

The Bible confirms…  “A True Personality Requires a Person, Not a Mode.”

The false religious movement aims to pervert the Divine meaning of Salvation
by teaching that "Jesus is the Only Person of God.”
Starting with the following scriptures, we observe TRUTH as we observe
actions of God in the the assertion of "persons" of God and His Plan of
Salvation (Redemption from rebellion against His Will, Plan and Purposes.)

     2 Corinthians 5:19 (AMP)
It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring
the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men]
their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us
the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).
     Colossians  2:10  (AMP)
10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life
[in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--
and reach full spiritual stature].  And He is the Head of all rule and authority
[of every angelic principality and power].
     2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)
Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him
     as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit];
the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away.
Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

     John 1:18 (AMP)

     Jesus Declares Himself:
     John 10:9 (AMP)
I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved
[and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely],
     and find pasture (spiritual security).

Jesus Declares His "Mission" in Salvation:
     John 10:7 (AMP)
So Jesus said again, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you,
I am the Door for the sheep [leading to life].

     Jesus Declares  the Father:

     John 14:6 (AMP)
     Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life;
no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

    Jesus Declares the Holy Spirit:
    John 3:5 (AMP)
Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit,
he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.

[Note: Regarding salvation...Full understanding that men
are teaching "distinctions" unto themselves that "All men are Saved"
without building precept upon precept defies the Truth of God:

    Colossians  2:7-9  AMP:
7  Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him,
fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him,
becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith,
just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.
8 See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves
captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit
(idle fancies and plain nonsense), following human tradition
(men's ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world),
just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings
of the universe and disregarding [the teachings of] Christ (the Messiah).
9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead)
continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete
    expression of the divine nature].

Let’s fully appreciate the next verses as they apply to our study
    of "distinctive of Persons":

    [Divine Persons... TRINITY]:
An inflectional form of nouns and pronouns that distinguishes
between the Divine person who speaks (first person),
the Divine person who is spoken to (second person),
and the Divine person who is spoken about (third person).
God in His "essence" is One God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
each as Persons in Unity of Will, Plan and Purpose.

    John 4:24 (AMP)
God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind],
and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
[note:To worship, one must believe in and execute
    the divine principle of Faith.]

This passage cannot be referring to Jesus Who was incarnate in the flesh!
He came as the "SENT ONE," the "Lamb of God" to be offered ONCE
to offer a "peace treaty" to fallen mankind that ALL (non-gender)
could turn from rebellion seated in unbelief against the Living God
of ALL Creation, both physical and spiritual by changing their minds
and actions to BELIEVE God exists and to follow the teaching
and demonstrations of Christ the Son concerning the Kingdom of God!

Upon completion of His mission, He was seated upon the Eternal Throne
of king David to the "right-hand" of God
(the position of All power and authority in heaven and earth)
as the victorious conquer over the works of Satan.
(Satan: ruler of evil in the heavens and in the lives of men...non-gender).
Christ Jesus defeated DEATH and captivity in it.  The Promise of Eternal Life
is demonstrated by the Resurrection and Ascent to the Father!

[Note: It is wonderfully scriptural and necessary to our understanding that
several Bible versions demonstrate the use of plural nouns and pronouns
whereby there are conversations and recognition's among the three Persons
of the Godhead,  each of whom have unity of Will, Plan and Purpose
and each of Whom were active in the Creation as recorded
     in
Genesis 1:26 (AMP).
Nouns: Father, Son, Spirit, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Jesus
Pronouns: My, Your, Him, He, Himself, His
Take special notice of the dialogs, references, acknowledgements
and actions made between and among the Persons of the Trinity of God]

     Genesis 1:26 (AMP)
Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image,
according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality
and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish
of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth,
and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.”

The Scriptures are very clear to specify each member of the Godhead
as a Person who lives forever.

     The Father...

Matthew 6:9  Our Father Who is in heaven,
Matthew 6:13  For Yours is the kingdom and the power
     and the glory forever. Amen.

     John 17:1
WHEN JESUS had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes
to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come.
Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify Your Son, so that Your Son
may glorify and extol and honor and magnify You.

     John 17:3-5
And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive,
recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You,
the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the]
Christ (the Anointed one, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.
4 I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work
that You gave Me to do.
5 And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me
to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You
     before the world existed.

     The Son...

     John 12:34
At this the people answered Him, We have learned from the Law
that the Christ is to remain forever; how then can You say,
The Son of Man must be lifted up [on the cross]?
Who is this Son of Man?
     Psalm 110:4 (AMP)
The Lord has sworn [an oath] and will not change His mind:
“You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”
     Hebrews 7:24
But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever.
Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same,
yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

     Holy Ghost...

     Hebrews 9:14  KJV
How much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?.....

     Persons reveal emotion.
The highest emotion and condition of the soul is love.
Let us look at the mutual love distinctly revealed of the
     Persons of the Godhead.

     Father to the Son...

     John 3:35  AMP
The Father loves the Son and has given (entrusted, committed) everything
     into His hand.

     John 15:9  AMP
      I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me;
abide in My love [continue in His love with Me].

     John 17:24-25   NKJV
(This love is not just toward the Son's humanity)
...for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
      O righteous Father!

      Son to the Father...

      John 14:31  KJV
But that the world may know that I love the Father...

Holy Spirit to Father and the Son and Father and Son to the Holy Spirit...

[No specific Scripture is given, however, the Scriptures do speak
of "the love of the Spirit"]

     Romans 15:30 (AMP)
I urge you, believers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit,
to join together with me in your prayers to God in my behalf,
and "the fruit of the Spirit is love" (Galatians 5:22).

     ● We know that God is love.
     ● The Holy Spirit is the " third" Person of God, and, therefore,
         the Holy Spirit is love.
     ● The Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) is equally divine in nature
and shares other aspects of the divine relationship as well.

     Mark 12:28-30 (AMP)
28 Then one of the scribes [an expert in Mosaic Law] came up
and listened to them arguing [with one another],
and noticing that Jesus answered them well, asked Him,
“Which commandment is first and most important of all?”
29 Jesus answered, “The first and most important one is:
     ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord;
30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul (life), and with all your mind
(thought, understanding), and with all your strength.’

It is "Agape" Love that upholds the Eternal Plan of God of Life!
The Greek word agape is often translated “love” in the New Testament.
How is “agape love” different from other types of love?
The essence of agape love is goodwill, benevolence, and willful delight
in the object of love. Unlike our English word love, agape is not used
in the New Testament to refer to romantic or sexual love.
Nor does it refer to close friendship or brotherly love,
for which the Greek word philia is used.
Agape love involves faithfulness, commitment, and an act of the will.
It is distinguished from the other types of love by its lofty moral nature
     and strong character.
(Note: Agape love is beautifully described in 1 Corinthians 13).

     2 Corinthians 13:11 (AMP)
Finally, brethren, farewell (rejoice)! Be strengthened (perfected, completed,
     made what you ought to be); be encouraged and consoled and comforted;
     be of the same [agreeable] mind one with another;
live in peace, and [then] the God of love [Who is the Source of affection,
goodwill, love, and benevolence toward men] and the Author and Promoter
of peace will be with you.

     2 Corinthians 13:14 (AMP)
The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion
and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all.
     Amen (so be it).

     Romans 5:8 (AMP)
But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact
that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah,
the Anointed One) died for us.

     Colossians  2:10-11  (AMP)
10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life
[in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--
and reach full spiritual stature].  And He is the Head of all rule and authority
[of every angelic principality and power].
11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands,
but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body
of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).
{Note: Christ Jesus, in His Advent to earth was a "flesh and bone" Person
and a "divine" Person”… know as "Son of Man and Son of God."
In His Advent from heaven, He remained sinless and without guile.
     guile = dishonesty, craftiness, deceit, cunning.}

Jesus (the Christ) resisted and conquered the corrupt carnal nature
     with its passions and lusts!

     Colossians  2:12  AMP:
12 [Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him
in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new life]
through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed] when He raised Him
     up from the dead.
[Note: circumcised of a hard rebellious heart and ‘united as one’
     with the Father through Christ].

     Colossians  2:13  AMP:
13 And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision
of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature),
[God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us
     all our transgressions,
[Note: transgression; violation of a law, command, rebellion against:
sin, defiance, disobedience, breach,  trespass, crime, error, fault,
infraction, infringement, lapse, misdeed, misdemeanor, wrongdoing,
contravention, encroachment, iniquity, offense, slip, vice, wrong,
breaking of the law, erring, overstepping]

[Note: Those in Christ today are living in the provision of eternal life, NOW!
God, the Godhead bodily (spirit) lives (abides, indwells) in the redeemed!
The Lord Jesus Christ comes to receive our spirit and soul at our natural death!
We are transformed from mortal to immortal at that event. Judgment has already
transpired when we were reconciled to God. We are in Christ, the Divine Light.
we have been transformed out of the darkness (evil) of the controlled of the prince
of the air (heavens) into the Marvelous Light of Christ! He is our eternal "Door"
to all Promises of God! Jesus Christ is the Way, Truth and Life ("Seal" of  Promise)."]

     2 Corinthians 5:1-5 (RSV)
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed,
we have a building from God, a house not made with hands,
     eternal in the heavens.
2 Here indeed we groan, and long to put on our heavenly dwelling,
3 so that by putting it on we may not be found naked.
     4 For while we are still in this tent, we sigh with anxiety;
not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed,
so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God,
who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

     2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (AMP)
6 So then, being always filled with good courage and confident hope,
and knowing that while we are at home in the body
we are absent from the Lord—
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent
with our confident belief in God’s promises]—
8 we are [as I was saying] of good courage and confident hope,
and prefer rather to be absent from the body and
to be at home with the Lord.

     DIVINE WILL

[Note: the Will of the Father and the Will of the Son]:
     Matthew 6:8-10 (AMP)
     8 So do not be like them [praying as they do];
for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
9 “Pray, then, in this way
Our Father, who is in heaven,
     Hallowed be Your name.
     10 ‘Your kingdom come,
     Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

     Matthew 26:42 (AMP)
He went away a second time and prayed, saying,
“My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it,
     Your will be done.”

     John 5:19 (AMP)
So Jesus answered them by saying,
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you,
the Son can do nothing of Himself [of His own accord],
     unless it is something He sees the Father doing;
for whatever things the Father does, the Son [in His turn]
also does in the same way.

We see the "shepherd nature" of God as He (the Holy Spirit
     'covers'... hovering, over the deep...

     Genesis 1:2 (AMP)
The earth was without form and an empty waste,
and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep.
The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding)
over the face of the waters.

He takes a positive action against darkness and void!
He MOVES...He Acts!  He opens His mouth and speaks forth, declares,
     decrees, transmits!
He speaks into the lack!  He releases Himself as the source!  He provides!
His Presence CHANGES things!  HE is the Eternal LIGHT
(past, present and future) of the spiritual world working in the spiritual
darkness of the hearts and minds of mankind!
The First time we See HIM is when He spoke and the Light
     in the physical realm manifested!

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
HE is the Eternal LIGHT (past, present and future) of the spiritual world
working in the spiritual darkness of the hearts and minds of mankind!
The First time we See God working in the physical world is when He spoke
     and the Manifested Light!

God (Jesus, Son of God) the Light of the WORLD
     is recognized and announced!:

     John 1 (AMP)
1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ),
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
2 He was present originally with God.
     3 All things were made and came into existence through Him;
and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
5 And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness
has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it,
     and is unreceptive to it].
6 There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 This man came to witness, that he might testify of the Light,
that all men might believe in it [adhere to it, trust it, and rely upon it]
     through him.
8 He was not the Light himself, but came that he might bear witness
     regarding the Light.
9 There it was—the true Light [was then] coming into the world
[the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person.
10 He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him,
the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him].

     John 1:18 (AMP)
No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son,
or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence]
of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him
     out where He can be seen;
He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].

     Hebrews 10:7
Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will,
O God--[to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.

     John 12:28
[Rather, I will say,] Father, glorify (honor and extol)
Your [own] name! Then there came a voice out of heaven saying,
I have already glorified it, and I will glorify it again.

     Psalm 2:7
I will declare the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare]
     I have begotten You.
     Also see recorded [Heb 1:5; 3:5,6; 2 Peter 1:17,18]

     Psalm 110:1
THE LORD (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah),
Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool.
     [Matt 26:64; Acts 2:34; 1 Cor 15:25; Col 3:1; Heb 12:2.]

     James 1:17 (AMP)
     17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above;
it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer
of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting]
or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].

A Beautiful Divine attribute of God is that He speaks!
He speaks through the record of the Teachings of Christ Jesus…
through the Holy Bible. He speaks through inspired individuals
as the Holy Spirit guides and directs actions past, present and future.

He speaks through the Gifts of the Spirit as the Word of Wisdom
and the Word of Knowledge. He “speaks” (demonstrates) to men, women
and children through signs, wonders, dreams, visions and miracles.

     Also see recorded [Heb 1:5; 3:5,6; 2 Peter 1:17,18

     Psalm 110:1
THE LORD (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah),
Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool
.
     [Matt 26:64; Acts 2:34; 1 Cor 15:25; Col 3:1; Heb 12:2.]

      -----------------------------------------------------------

In the following study, we continue to teach
by the whole counsel of the Scriptures.

Reverently, we proceed with the following hymn of Reginald Heber,
who was inspired by this seraphic praise...

"Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty!

     Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore Thee,
     Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be."
      -----------------------------------------------------------

     True Worship:
God dwelling eternally as One God in three Persons
has inspired awe and wonder in the hearts of man,
enlightening, enriching and elevating his view of Almighty God.
It is the Light of Truth which has provoked worship and adoration
     to the Blessed Trinity.

This worship entails worship of the Godhead,
Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Spirit).
It is their own divine position as clearly demonstrated through the Old and
New Testament that these three are God in distinction of “Persons.”

Distinctive defined means: ‘marking a difference. '
”This is not to say we worship "each one of the three Persons as three Gods
     or as separate Gods."
However, we can call upon each of the Godhead and address them as a person
due to the divine qualities attributed to each of them.
As ‘One God,” they co-exist in Will, Plan and Purpose.

Our study of the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed on
the HGMI Home Page is relevant to the writings of what the forerunners
(Eye-witness disciples and Ascension disciples) understood
of the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity.

The Athanasian Creed distinctly addresses the manner of worship
to which Heart of God Ministries subscribes and incorporates
      in our International fellowship.
]

The Bible explicitly states that the Father, “as such”, and the Son,
     “as such,” received worship.

The Father

     John 4:23
23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here,
when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father
in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people
     as these as His worshipers.

     The Son

     John 9:32-38
32 Since the beginning of time it has never been heard
that anyone opened the eyes of a man born blind.
33 If this Man were not from God, He would not be able
     to do anything like this.
     34 They retorted, You were wholly born in sin [from head to foot];
and do you [presume to] teach us?
So they cast him out [threw him clear outside the synagogue].
35 Jesus heard that they had put him out, and meeting him He said,
Do you believe in and adhere to the Son of Man or the Son of God ?
36 He answered, Who is He, Sir?
Tell me, that I may believe in and adhere to Him.
37 Jesus said to him, You have seen Him; [in fact]
He is talking to you right now.
38 He called out, Lord, I believe! [I rely on,
I trust, I cleave to You!] And he worshiped Him.

The Holy Ghost / Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God and as such, He is be worshiped.
Those who call the Spirit an "it." are not taught to honor Him.
At the manifestation of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost many
improperly address God, the Holy Spirit.  He is a Person of the Trinity!
Each Personage of the Godhead is co-equal, co-existant and co-eternal.
Each in their eternal state have the same qualities attributable only to God:

     ● omnipresent (present everywhere),
     ● omnipotent (have absolute power and authority),
     ● omniscient (knowing everything).

The triple praise of the seraphim... denotes each are worshiped.
How can one build relationship without communication and expression
     of honor and interaction?

The Holy Spirit is sent as our helper.
He is Godhead standby and comforter.
He abides in us to hear our hearts
and the confessions and professions of our mouth.
He discloses, declares, transmits and imparts
the things of Christ to us.
     John 16:13-15 (AMP)
13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes,
He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth).
     For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority];
     but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father;
He will give the message that has been given to Him],
and He will announce and declare to you the things
that are to come [that will happen in the future].
14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon)
what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
15 Everything that the Father has is Mine.
That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things
that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.

It is His voice that we hear.
He prays for us those things we do not know how to pray.
[Note: both the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ intercede on our behalf!]
     Romans 8:26 (AMP)
     26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness;
for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought,
but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf
with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
     Romans 8:27 (AMP)
27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind
of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes
and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony
     with God’s will.

     Romans 8:34 (AMP)
34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah),
Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead,
Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

The Holy Ghost divinely empowers effectual prayers
through the gift of tongues, the spiritual languages.
AND, He empowers prayers released through the mind and language
of the one who prays within their cultural language.
The divine provision of prayer is one of doing both!
     Ephesians 6:18 (AMP)
18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit,
with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty.
To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance,
interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

     1 Corinthians 14:14-15 (AMP)
14 For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me]
prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody].
15 Then what am I to do? I will pray with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit
that is within me], but I will also pray [intelligently] with my mind
     and understanding;
[Note: Paul also reveals the power of singing in the spiritual tongues
as well as in the cultural language.]

I will sing with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me],
but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also.

All communication with God is spiritual.
Paul says we pray in the spirit and we also pray with understanding.
Prayer is the Holy attribute that God receives before the throne.
Yes, we communicate and pray to build relationship directly
with the Holy Spirit.  We talk with Him as we commune together.

Holy Spirit is God. He is no "less" God nor no "more" God than
     the Father, and the Son.

[God is One in Will, Plan and Purpose.]

     Isaiah 6:3    (KJV)
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy,
is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory...
Note: this verse is significant as it is disclosed in the New Testament
that the Son (Jn 12:36-45) and the Holy Spirit (Acts 28:25-26)
were actively participating in the 1st advent of Christ. Matt 28:19)
     What was His Mission?
     John 12:36-45 (AMP)
36 While you have the Light, believe in the Light
[have faith in it, hold to it, rely on it],
that you may become sons of the Light and be filled with Light.
Jesus said these things, and then He went away and hid Himself
from them [was lost to their view].
37 Even though He had done so many miracles before them
(right before their eyes), yet they still did not trust in Him
and failed to believe in Him—
38 So that what Isaiah the prophet said was fulfilled:
Lord, who has believed our report and our message?
And to whom has the arm (the power) of the Lord been shown
     (unveiled and revealed)?
39 Therefore they could not believe [they were unable to believe].
     For Isaiah has also said,
40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened and benumbed
their [callous, degenerated] hearts [He has made their minds dull],
to keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding
with their hearts and minds and repenting and turning to Me to heal them.
41 Isaiah said this because he saw His glory and spoke of Him.
42 And yet [in spite of all this] many even of the leading men
(the authorities and the nobles) believed and trusted in Him.
But because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, for fear that
[if they should acknowledge Him] they would be expelled
     from the synagogue;
43 For they loved the approval and the praise and the glory that come
from men [instead of and] more than the glory that comes from God.
[They valued their credit with men more than their credit with God.]
44 But Jesus loudly declared, The one who believes in Me
does not [only] believe in and trust in and rely on Me,
but [in believing in Me he believes] in Him Who sent Me.
45 And whoever sees Me sees Him Who sent Me.
[Note, Jesus makes reference to Himself and He who SENT {the Father}...
     two different Persons.
     The "sending" is apostolic.
     It takes TWO....
     1. the One who SENDS to Give the Message
     2. the One who is SENT to Deliver the Message
Revealing The Apostolic-Prophetic Realm of God
"Apostolic" denotes "sender" and "the one sent."
"Prophetic" denotes to reveal... declare, proclaim, decree, transmit...
                                                                                             the message of God.
Both the Son and the Holy Spirit were SENT from the Father in heaven.
Howbeit, the Holy descended upon the Christ, anointing Him for Service.
Father God is revealed (the Source of all... including the Son)
in the "hearing" and "seeing" of the the Word via  voice and action.]
     Acts 28:25-26 (AMP)
25 And as they disagreed among themselves, they began to leave,
[but not before] Paul had added one statement [more]:
The Holy Spirit was right in saying through Isaiah the prophet
     to your forefathers:
26 Go to this people and say to them, You will indeed hear
and hear with your ears but will not understand, and you will indeed look
and look with your eyes but will not see [not perceive, have knowledge of
or become acquainted with what you look at, at all].
[Note: Paul specifically identifies the Holy Spirit. He does Not refer to
Father God nor the Son, Jesus Christ.  Yet, in prayers, Paul always honored
both the Father and the Son!]

     Matthew 28:19 (AMP)
Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them
into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

     -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

     Work of the Holy Spirit

     Matthew 4:1 (AMP)
Then Jesus was led by the [Holy] Spirit
into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

     Luke 4:1 (AMP)
Now Jesus, full of [and in perfect communication with] the Holy Spirit,
returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness.

     Acts 6:5 (AMP)
     The suggestion pleased the whole congregation;
and they selected Stephen, a man full of faith [in Christ Jesus],
and [filled with and led by] the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus,
Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas (Nikolaos),
a proselyte (Gentile convert) from Antioch.

Acts 7:55 (AMP) {regarding the stoning of Stephen}:
But he, being full of the Holy Spirit and led by Him,
gazed into heaven and saw the glory [the great splendor and majesty]
     of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God;

     Acts 13:9 (AMP)
But Saul, who was also known as Paul,
filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Him,
     looked steadily at Elymas,

Your Future is decided by whose voice you choose to believe...

     John 12:39-41
39 Therefore they could not believe [they were unable to believe].
For Isaiah has also said, 40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened
and benumbed their [callous, degenerated] hearts
[He has made their minds dull], to keep them from seeing
with their eyes and understanding with their hearts and minds
and repenting and turning to Me to heal them.
41 Isaiah said this because he saw His glory and spoke of Him. [Isa 6:9,10.]

It’s from such words as majesty, glory and honor
that we get the meaning of glory.
God’s glory is God’s weightiness in wonderful qualities such as
might, beauty, goodness, justice, and honor.
God possesses a superabundance of these divine attributes!

     Acts 28:24-26 (AMP)
24 And some were convinced and believed what he said,
and others did not believe. 25 And as they disagreed among themselves,
they began to leave, [but not before] Paul had added one statement [more]:
The Holy Spirit was right in saying through Isaiah
     the prophet to your forefathers:
26 Go to this people and say to them, You will indeed hear and hear
with your ears but will not understand, and you will indeed look and look
with your eyes but will not see [not perceive, have knowledge of
or become acquainted with what you look at, at all].

The Holy Spirit is addressed as God!
These scriptures address the Holy Spirit
with distinction of person and show reverence or worship
to Him as well as the Father and Son.
      ● the prayer of Apostolic Blessing of 2 Corinthians13:14,
         2 Corinthians 13:14 (AMP)
The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God and the presence and fellowship
(the communion and sharing together, and participation)
in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).
      ● the adoration of Revelation 1:4
         Revelation 1:4 (AMP)
4 John to the seven assemblies (churches) that are in Asia:
May grace (God’s unmerited favor) be granted to you and
spiritual peace (the peace of Christ’s kingdom)
from Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come,
         and from the seven Spirits
[the sevenfold Holy Spirit] before His throne,

(Note: The sevenfold God Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is revealed
      in the Old Covenant).

      Isaiah 11:2 (AMP)
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him—
the Spirit of wisdom                   ● Spirit of Wisdom
and understanding,                     ● Spirit of Understanding
the Spirit of counsel                     ● Spirit of Counsel
and might,                                         ● Spirit of Might
the Spirit of knowledge                   ● Spirit of Knowledge
and of the reverential {fear}             ● Spirit of Reverence
and obedient fear of the Lord—        ● Spirit of Obedience

     Symbolism of God
[Note: The practice of using symbols especially by investing things
with a symbolic meaning or by expressing the invisible or intangible by means
of visible or sensuous representations are frequently used in expressing the
nature, aptitudes and essence of God in His three Persons, such as:
     1. the use of conventional or traditional signs in the representation
     of divine beings and spirits
     2. imitation or invention that is a method of revealing
immaterial, ideal, or otherwise intangible truth or states]

The term Trinity is a symbol.
Both the Threeness and the Oneness of God are embraced by the term Trinity
God in His Trinitarian manner of existence is unique.
There is none like Him in the universe...

     GOD DESIRES WE KNOW HIM
             IN HIS HOLY TRINITY
                  AND UNITY OF PERSONS!

Isaiah 40:18-19
18 To whom then will you liken God?
Or with what likeness will you compare Him?
     19 The graven image!
A workman casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold
and casts silver chains for it.

     Acts 17:29 (AMP)
Since then we are God’s offspring, we ought not to suppose that Deity
(the Godhead) is like gold or silver or stone, [of the nature of]
a representation by human art and imagination, or anything
     constructed or invented.

     Isaiah 40:20-21 (AMP)
20 He who is so impoverished that he has no offering
or oblation or rich gift to give [to his god is constrained
     to make a wooden offering, an idol; so he] chooses a tree that will not rot;
he seeks out a skillful craftsman to carve and set up an image
that will not rot or deteriorate.
21 [You worshipers of idols, you are without excuse.]
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
[These things ought to convince you of God's omnipotence
and of the folly of bowing to idols.]
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?

     The Works of God's Hands!
     Romans 1:20 (AMP)
20 For ever since the creation of the world
His invisible nature and attributes, that is,
His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible
and clearly discernible in and through the things
that have been made (His handiworks).
So [men] are without excuse [altogether without
     any defense or justification],

     Isaiah 40:22:25 (AMP)
22 It is God Who sits above the circle (the horizon) of the earth,
     and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers;
it is He Who stretches out the heavens like [gauze] curtains
and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in,
23 Who brings dignitaries to nothing, Who makes the judges
and rulers of the earth as chaos (emptiness, falsity, and futility).
24 Yes, these men are scarcely planted, scarcely are they sown,
scarcely does their stock take root in the earth,
when [the Lord] blows upon them and they wither, and the whirlwind
or tempest takes them away like stubble.
25 To whom then will you liken Me, that I should be equal to him?
     says the Holy one.
In this 25th verse the Holy Spirit scribes through Isaiah
     the unified voice of ONE.
      -----------------------------------------------

God is One “a living essence” or “conscious entity” existing
as three Persons.  The Divine three Persons are not related
to substance, such as are three individuals of flesh.
Jesus is the Only Incarnate, As Transfigured in the Resurrection,
He is living in His spiritual body.
His body has the appearance of Flesh form, yet is capable of defying
     physical laws relating to "substance."
Check His transfigured body! He gave insight of the things to come!

     Matthew 17:1-2 (AMP)
And six days after this, Jesus took with Him
Peter and James and John his brother,
and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.
     2 And His appearance underwent a change in their presence;
and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing
     became as white as light.
3 And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah,
     who kept talking with Him.
4 Then Peter began to speak and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good and delightful
that we are here; if You approve, I will put up three booths here—
one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah.
5 While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud [composed of light]
overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,
This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am [and have always been] delighted.
     Listen to Him!
6 When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces
and were seized with alarm and struck with fear.
7 But Jesus came and touched them and said, Get up, and do not be afraid.
8 And when they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
     --------------------------------------------------

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are of human nature
and substance, but do not comprise as one man.

Due to both the plurality and the oneness of the Godhead,
     ● efforts to demonstrate God's nature that the reader may understand
is challenging where, the deeper life in the Spirit are yet to be experienced.
     ● it enables those with opposing doctrines to find support for their
respective positions from the same scriptural illustrations.

Comparing the flesh, soul and spirit man to the Godhead is inadequate
     in its demonstration.
Even though man is made in the image of God, and therefore,
shares some aspects to His being, God is not made in the image of man
and, thus, the comparison is inadequate.

     The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God;
but the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Father
nor the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father nor the Son.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit comprise as One God, not a triad, but a Trinity.
In the inner most dynamics of their being
they are inherently and inescapably One in "essence."
[Note: "essence" = the inward nature, or constitution of something
that exists, especially a spiritual or immaterial entity.]
     1 Corinthians 15:50 (AMP)
50 Now I say this, believers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit
nor be part of the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable (mortal)
     inherit the imperishable (immortal).

God is capable of presenting Himself in any form or fashion.
Jesus did on more than One occasion!
In addition to the example upon the Mount of transfiguration,
let's survey His 'eternal bodily form.'

    John 20:24-31 (AMP)
24 But Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin,
was not with them when Jesus came.
25 So the other disciples kept telling him, We have seen the Lord!
But he said to them, Unless I see in His hands the marks made by the nails
and put my finger into the nail prints, and put my hand into His side,
    I will never believe [it].
26 Eight days later His disciples were again in the house,
and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, though they were behind closed doors,
and stood among them and said, Peace to you!
    27 Then He said to Thomas, Reach out your finger here, and see My hands;
and put out your hand and place [it] in My side.
Do not be faithless and incredulous, but [stop your unbelief and] believe!
28 Thomas answered Him, My Lord and my God!
29 Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas,
do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied
are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to
and trusted and relied on Me.
30 There are also many other signs and miracles which Jesus performed
in the presence of the disciples which are not written in this book.
31 But these are written (recorded) in order that you may believe that Jesus
is the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of God, and that through believing
and cleaving to and trusting and relying upon Him you may have life through (in)
His name [through Who He is].

     PERSONS:

The three Persons of God bear witness of Light, Truth, and Works.
These Ministries are distinctive yet are unified.

The Persons of God minister in three different realms in God's
     Master Plan of Redemption.
They are equal in their Holy Divine Nature, but there is distinction.
We can easily see the relationships among them is real and personal.
It is impossible to conclude that they are only personalities of one person.

The Athanasian Creed distinctly addresses the worship manner
we of HGMI subscribe and incorporate in our fellowship.
[Access the Home Page by clicking the INNER CHAMBERS Link
at top of this web page to read the Athanasian Creed.]

A true personality requires a person.

Unless the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit each were persons,
they could not be true personalities.
They could not be discerned in the Bible!

The Father is the SOURCE of all things.
The Son was intimately with the Presence of the Father
before the foundations of the world!
He is the Only One Who knew the Father...
Jesus was SENT and manifest by the overshadowing
Presence of the Holy Spirit. He did NOT Send Himself!

     Luke 1:30-40 (AMP)
30 The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.
31 Listen carefully: you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son,
and you shall name Him Jesus.
     32 He will be great and eminent and will be called the Son of the Most High;
     and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;
33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever,
and of His kingdom there shall be no end.”
34 Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin
and have no intimacy with any man?”
35 Then the angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
     and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a cloud];
for that reason the holy (pure, sinless) Child shall be called the Son of God.
36 And listen, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son
in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.
37 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.”
     38 Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord;
may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her.

The Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of REFERENCE
and NOT a third person of RANK!

►He is the Holy Person of the Godhead 1st revealed in the Bible.

      Genesis 1:2  (AMP)
...The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding)
over the face of the waters.

►He is the Holy Spirit who breathes life into the first Adam.
      Genesis 2:7 (AMP)
7 Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground
and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life,
and man became a living being.
[Note: there is a "pattern" established for the creation of a living individual.
       1. Formed by substance, "created or essence."
           {God formed man from the dust of the ground}
       2. Life is in GOD!  Life is the "pneuma!"
Pneuma (πνεῦμα) is an ancient Greek word for "breath",
and in a religious context for "spirit" or "soul".
           {Holy Spirit breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life}
        3. It requires the essence of "spirit" to activate the "soul."
           {man became a living being... a soul with complete attributes of God}

           Genesis 1:26 (AMP)
God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image,
           after Our likeness...

►He is the Holy Ghost that raised Jesus from the grave
(who was among the dead from the flesh world on earth.
The spirit and soul are eternal.)

     Romans 8:11-14  AMP
11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead
dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead
will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies
through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

12 So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh
[we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled
by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.

13 For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh,
     you will surely die.
But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually]
putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds
prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.

14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

      Here are the proper references:

      1. The God Person of the Father
      2. The God Person of the Son...
whose Name is above all names in heaven and earth.
His Name re-presents all that He is in all that He has done
and in Whom is the Way to the Person of the Father
who is the Source of all things!
Without the Father there could be No Son

      3. The God Person Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost

It is imperative to have a solid foundation
      of the spiritual doctrine (Trinity)!
Not from what other men teach amiss...
but, by that which the Bible teaches and fully confirms
so that you may show yourself approved of the scriptures
      and not of men!

When we walk patiently in the Holy Ghost,
He shines His Light upon the scriptures as never dreamed!
He speaks a spiritual language of the scriptures
and gives spiritual understanding which is higher
than the natural mind of intelligence.

     1 Corinthians 2:11-16  AMP
11 For what person perceives (knows and understands)
what passes through a man's thoughts except
the man's own spirit within him?
Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend)
the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world,
but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us]
that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts
[of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly]
     bestowed on us by God.

13 And we are setting these truths forth in words
not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit,
combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language
[to those who possess the Holy Spirit].

14 But the natural, non-spiritual man does not accept or welcome
or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations
     of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him;
and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing,
understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them]
because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

15 But the spiritual man tries all things
[he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions,
and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged
by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly
discern or appraise or get an insight into him].

The three Persons of our One God are perfect in will, purpose and action.
While they are distinct, they are inseparable as one God:
      1. The Father reveals the Son as the Savior of the world.
      2. The Son reveals the Father as the Source Cause of all things, therefore,
Father is not Begotten. The Son is the Begotten of the Father.
He gains all source and direction from the Father.
      3. The Holy Ghost reveals the Son's Spiritual Stature to all penitent
believers who desire to mature into the Measure of the Fullness
           of  Christ's Stature.

Let us look at a number of passages that will help us
to better understand the word "one" as it pertains to the trinitarian
faith that God is One in Three Persons....

The word "one" is not a reference to a single unit in the exact
mathematical sense. Yet, "one" is one in the sense of a compound unity,
or a unity of more than one, a unity that involves purpose, will, identity,
     sensibility and intellect.

[Note: See web page "Marvelous Wonders" in
INNER CHAMBERS
for a study on the awesome significance of "one" (1)
as it applies to both physical realities and spiritual realities.

Please make special note, we are not writing about the "Oneness" movement
and the errors expressed in lack of understanding the Divine Trinity.
"Oneness" promotes the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as titles
     used to only represent “JESUS.”
The movement considers the Holy Ghost as an "It" denying that God is "He."
Thus, the "Jesus Only" doctrine is false teaching.

It required the advent and appearance of the Son of God on earth
to accomplish redemption's plan, and to reveal the Father and the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is promised by the Old Testament prophets
and by the Lord Jesus himself.  Holy Spirit is referenced by the pronoun He.
The word (He) denotes “person.”  Holy Spirit's Presence empowers us
to see the Light of Truth, that God is three in one.

     ● In a true sense, God is one, and in an equally true sense
the three personalities of the Godhead are distinct.

     ● It is both reasonable and scriptural to say that there is One
Divine essence or nature which all three have in common, and yet,
there are three mutually related and distinct centers of consciousness,
knowledge, and demonstration observed by the communication
     between and among them.

If you are a student of the Bible, have you found it compelling
to acknowledge the New Testament clearly presenting a plurality
of God identified by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

     ● Plurality makes it challenging for most to see and believe in One God.
●There are also those who deny that there is a plurality of Persons.

We want to build on the plurality of God to demonstrate the existence
of the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost (Spirit) by the Scriptures.

     Declared to Be God:

     1. The Father

...for God the Father has authorized and certified Him and put His seal
of endorsement upon Him.  (John 6:27)
Who were chosen and foreknown by God the Father...  (1 Peter 1:2)

      2. The Son
...the Word was God   (John 1:1)
But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God... (Hebrews 1:8)

      3. The Holy Ghost
...that you should lie to and attempt to deceive the Holy Spirit,...
you have not [simply] lied to men [playing false and showing yourself
utterly deceitful] but to God.   (Acts 5:3,4)
...the temple of the Holy Ghost  ---- the temple of God.
      1 Corinthians 6:19 (AMP)
Do you not know that your body is the temple
(the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you,
Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,

     1 Corinthians 3:16 (AMP)
Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth]
are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent
dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church
     and also individually]?

Father, Son and Holy Spirit Grouped Together:

Luke 1:35 (AMP)  ...The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the
Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy
(pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called
      the Son of God

Matt 28:19-20 (AMP)  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, (We will study “baptism” in a separate document)

Romans 1:1-4 (AMP) ...the Gospel (good news) of and from God...
regarding His Son, Who as to the flesh (His human nature)...
And [as to His divine nature] according to the Spirit of holiness
was openly designated the Son of God in power [in a striking,
triumphant and miraculous manner] by His resurrection from the dead,...

1 John 5:7 (AMP)  So there are three witnesses in heaven:
     the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one;

Hebrews 9:14 (AMP)  How much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

     THE FATHER

The Father is the source of all things seen and unseen.
     What is He like?
His nature is to be a source and to reproduce.
     Fatherhood is more than one of His attributes;
it is who He is and what He does.
He is the Eternal Father of the Eternal Son.
There never was a time that He was not Father.

He was Father before He ever created, judged, redeemed,
or answered a prayer. His creation, love, care, and provision
     came out of His Father-heart.

The Spirit with which anoints and manifests His presence
is sent from "Our Heavenly Father.
When we pray it is not just to God.
Jesus, Son of God, instructed to pray: "to Father."
     Matthew 6:6 (AMP)
But when you pray, go into your [most] private room,
and, closing the door, pray to your Father,
Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret,
will reward you in the open.
     Matthew 6:9 (AMP)
Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven,
hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.

     ● He is Father of His Kingdom (Matthew 6:9-10)
     ● He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ  (John 1:14)
     ● He is Father of our spirits (Hebrews 12:9)
     ● He is Father of Israel (Exodus 12:9)
     ● He is the Father of family (Ephesians 3:14-15)
     ● He is Father of lights  (James 1:17)
     ● He is Father of all born of the Spirit (Romans 8:15-17)
     ● He is Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5)
     ● He is the Father to whom the Son has been given all power and authority
to reign over the Kingdom of life eternal.  (1 Corinthians 15:27)
     ● He is the Father of His family, Who presents a perfected kingdom
making the Way for 'redeemed" mankind to abide in the Law of the Spirit.
(Romans Chapter 8) [Note: The divine numeral 8 in scripture
reveals "resurrection power," "new beginnings" and new relationships."
In that the Kingdom of God is a family Kingdom, we are "sons" (non-gender).
We are also "persons" with transformed realities and relationships:
fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters in Christ, the Anointed One.

Father God gives the Revelation of the Light of God to us
and we give are "sent" to declare and proclaim that Jesus Christ
is the Light to the world!

Father God gives us (source & substance/provision) abundant life
and eternal life in His Son!

We become the "Father's house" while on earth.
While we live, it is Father's plan, purpose and act that we become one
in Faith as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are One.

     John 10:30 (AMP)
I and the Father are One [in essence and nature].”

     John 10:38 (AMP)
But if I am doing them, even if you do not believe Me or have faith in Me,
[at least] believe the works [that I do—admit that they are the works of God],
so that you may know and keep on knowing [clearly—without any doubt]
that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father [that is, I am One with Him].”

     John 17:21 (AMP)
that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You,
that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe
[without any doubt] that You sent Me.

    John 10:10 (AMP)
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance
[to the full, till it overflows].

    John 14:6-7 (AMP)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth
and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

    Jesus’ Oneness with the Father
7 If you had [really] known Me, you would also have known My Father.
From now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”

    THE SON

How do we know the Father?
It is through the Son, Jesus Christ, who came to reveal the Father.

     Jesus reveals Father God:
     ● He is the manifest Living Word of the Father
        John 1:1 (AMP)
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ),
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

     ● He is the manifest Will of the Father
         John 4:34 (AMP)
Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure)
of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.
     ● He is the manifest Work of the Father.

        John 5:17-19 (AMP)
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now,
[He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too,
        must be at [divine] work.
18 This made the Jews more determined than ever to kill Him
[to do away with Him]; because He not only was breaking
        (weakening, violating) the Sabbath,
but He actually was speaking of God as being [in a special sense]
His own Father, making Himself equal [putting Himself on a level] with God.
19 So Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
         the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord);
but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever
the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn].

     ● He is the manifest Life of the Father.
         John 5:26 (AMP)
For even as the Father has life in Himself and is self-existent,
so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself and be self-existent.

     ● He has the Authority of the Father.
         John 5:27 (AMP)
And He has given Him authority to execute judgment,
because He is a Son of Man [sinless humanity,
qualifying Him to sit in judgment over mankind].

     ● He is the Righteous Judge of the Father.
        John 5:30 (AMP)
“I can do nothing on my own initiative or authority.
Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just (fair, righteous, unbiased),
because I do not seek My own will, but only the will of Him who sent Me.

     ● He is the Representative of the Father.
        John 5:43 (AMP)
I have come in My Father’s name and with His power,
        and you do not receive Me [because your minds are closed];
but if another comes in his own name and with no authority
or power except his own, you will receive him and
give your approval to an imposter.

     ● He is the Pleasure of the Father.
        John 8:29 (AMP)
And He who sent Me is [always] with Me; He has not left Me alone,
because I always do what pleases Him.”

     ● He is the Path to the Father.
        John 14:6 (AMP)
Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth
and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

► Jesus knew and revealed the Father uniquely.
►Jesus' desire was not primarily that we know him,
but that we know the Father.
► We know the Father because we know the Son.
►The Father is Spirit and truth.
►The Son demonstrated the Father's nature through His birth, life,
crucifixion, burial, descent into hell resurrection, ascension
and fulfillment of the promised Holy Spirit.

     THE HOLY SPIRIT

     Luke 11:13 (AMP)
[Jesus said,] If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature],
know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more
will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
to those who ask and continue to ask Him!”

► The Father wants us to know truth.
► The Father wants to give us the Holy Spirit.
► It is the Holy Spirit that guides, teaches and motivates us.
John 14:26 (AMP) [Jesus speaking to His chosen 12 forerunners]:
But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—
Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name [in My place,
to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things.
And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.

► It is the Holy Spirit that draws us to the Father in reconciliation through
the work of His Son and empowers the desire to commune
          (fellowship) with Him.
          (Romans 8:15-16)
►It is the Holy Spirit from the Father that draws us to seek spiritual "parenting."
►The Holy Spirit's desire is that we give life to others as our Father
in Heaven gives life to us as He continues to reveal the Works of His Son.

The will, plan and purposes of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are "one.”
When Jesus was baptized, the Father sent the Holy Spirit upon Him:
     [Note: Luke 24:44b (AMP)
...everything which has been written about Me in the Law of Moses
and the [writings of the] Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”]
     Mark 1:9-12 (AMP)
9 In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John
in the Jordan.  10 Immediately coming up out of the water, he (John) saw
     the heavens torn open, and the Spirit like a dove descending on Him (Jesus);
11 and a voice came out of heaven saying: “You are My beloved Son,
in You I am well-pleased and delighted!”
12 Immediately the [Holy] Spirit forced Him out into the wilderness.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Note: In the "wilderness of testing" by the devil,
Satan's temptations were all directed at "self-serving."
Jesus rejected them in favor of "Father-serving" because the Holy Spirit
     was upon and within Him!
     Luke 4:1-2 (AMP)
Then Jesus, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit,
returned from the Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit
2 For (during) forty days in the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted
(tried, tested exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days,
and when they were completed, He was hungry.

Then Jesus, being led by the Holy Spirit and in the power of the Holy Spirit
went about destroying the works of the devil, healing (serving) others
     and bringing sons to glory.

     2 Corinthians 5:19 (AMP)
19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring
the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men]
their trespasses [but canceling them], and committing to us the message
of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).

In these verses, we "see" two distinctive “Divine Persons”
     working as one in harmony.

Can we refuse to acknowledge the Son of God was born of flesh and spirit?
Can we refuse to acknowledge God in Him?
Was He Not conceived of the Spirit? Yes! He was!
► It is the work of the Holy Spirit from the Father and the Son that we are
      motivated towards service and reproduction.
►The Spirit of fatherhood and sonship calls us to spiritual parenting.
Somebody is assigned to your life!
     Somewhere...somebody... feels protective toward you.
They are willing to take on your battles.
They want to be a Source of nourishment and motivation for your life.
The "pattern of the Son of God" reveals you cannot succeed alone
     Jesus said,
     Mark 12:30 (AMP)
and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul (life), and with all your mind (thought, understanding),
     and with all your strength.’
     2 Corinthians 13:13-14 (AMP)
13 All God’s people greet you.
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Mentors are assigned to impart to you. This divine action is only possible
by building relationship within the scope of your divine appointments.
Some motivate you. Some educate you. Some correct you.

"Proteges' are assigned to learn from you.
They will Not Find anywhere else what God has placed within you for them.
     They know it!

►The Holy Spirit has the same spirit "essence" of the Father.
►We worship God the Father in both spirit and truth.
►Spirit is the “Personage Holy Spirit” and Truth the” Personage Son”
who was and is and shall always be made manifest in the "Redeemed"
to obtain knowledge and understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven
     and the Blessed Trinity.

Trinity Recognized at the River Jordan:
     Luke 3:21, 22
Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus
also had been baptized, and [while He  was still] praying,
the [visible] heaven was opened And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him
in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven, saying,
You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am well pleased and find delight!
[See also Ps 2:7; Isa 42:1.]
     Psalm 2:7 (AMP)
I will declare the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare]
     I have begotten You.
     Isaiah 42:1 (AMP)
Behold my [a]Servant, Whom I uphold, My elect in Whom My soul delights!
I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice and right
and reveal truth to the nations.

The witnesses of this holy scene [Luke 3:21-22], and the readers
of the four Gospel accounts, were conscious of three distinct "Persons":
the One who stood before them, the One who descended from heaven,
and the One who spoke from heaven.  If such were not the actual event,
it must be regarded as an event which was calculated to deceive all
who saw it and those who recorded it and those who later heard about it
or read about it.  Any attempt to present an alternative interpretation,
attempts to remove from this baptismal scene the divine plurality
(so obviously present), and is an evasion of God's inspired record.

There is no record that Jesus the Incarnate Son, ever departed
from His incarnation (with the brief three day exception of departure
from the physical aspect of His manhood in His death and resurrection).
He could not be the voice from heaven, the "symbolic dove" from heaven ,
and the one being baptized by another human even tough all things
are possible with God.  Also, every record of Father, Son and Holy Ghost
in the bible would be a deception as well!

     Matthew 28:19 (AMP)
[Jesus speaks to His 12 chosen forerunners]
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them
into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Jesus was never seen two places at one time in His incarnate life,
before or after the resurrection.  This is a testimony to the restraining
operation of His omnipresence during His life on the earth.
Omnipresence is an attribute of the "spirit essence" of the Godhead.
For this attribute of God to be operational would have made His incarnate,
(flesh manhood) a drama and a deception for the redemption.

     The Prayers of Christ:

     John 17:1-5 (AMP)
WHEN JESUS had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven
and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify
Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify and extol and honor and magnify You.
2 [Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh
(all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all
     whom You have given Him.
3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize,
become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God,
and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed one,
the Messiah), Whom You have sent.
4 I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work
that You gave Me to do.
5 And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me
to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You
     before the world existed.

If Jesus were not only man but also a one-person God,
it was cruelly deceptive of Him to "lift up His eyes to heaven"
as if He were praying to the Father.   If He Himself were the Father,
then, He who was "the Truth" would not have given Himself
     to such a false pretense.

It is not proper to suppose He was accommodating Himself
to the understanding of God that was held by his disciples
for He always lifted the thoughts of the earth-bound souls
to whom He ministered... up to the heights of truth.

     John 4:20-24 (AMP)
20 Our forefathers worshiped on this mountain, but you [Jews]
say that Jerusalem is the place  where it is necessary and proper to worship.
21 Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, a time is coming when you will
worship the Father neither [merely] in this mountain nor [merely] in Jerusalem.
22 You [Samaritans] do not know what you are worshiping
[you worship what you do not comprehend].
We do know what we are worshiping [we worship what we have knowledge
of and understand], for [after all] salvation comes from [among] the Jews.
23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine)
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father
is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.
24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship
Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

The prayers of Jesus justify the belief and acceptance of a plurality
     of Persons in the Godhead.

Direct References by Jesus to a Plurality of Persons:

     Not Alone...  NOT "Jesus Only!"
     John 8:16
     Yet even if I do judge, My judgment is true [My decision is right];
for I am not alone [in making it], but [there are two of Us] I and the Father,
     Who sent Me.
     John 8:29  And He Who sent Me is ever with Me;
My Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.
John 16:32  But take notice, the hour is coming, and it has arrived,
when you will all be dispersed and scattered, every man to his own home,
leaving Me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

[THE HOLY GHOST IS IN US…He represents the Godhead “bodily.” (Trinity)

     Isaiah 44:24  (AMP)
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He Who formed you
from the womb: I am the Lord, Who made all things, Who alone stretched out
the heavens, Who spread out the earth by Myself [who was with Me]?--

This verse as line by line, pretext by pretext with other Scriptures demonstrates
that the Lord did not stretch out the heavens alone... nor to mean there is no
distinctions among the persons in the Godhead.
As speaking of mankind (the created man) The context of Isaiah 44:24 reveals
that the comparison is between the one true God and idols
("gods made by hands of men" or some cultural or invented universal god
of the structures of the sun, moon, planets or stars as a ruler in earthly affairs.)
(see Isaiah chapters 41 thru 49 included in the
.pdf document of this web page
      accessible in the
Inner Chambers).

In comparison, Numbers 23:9 tells us that "the people shall dwell alone,"
     but we do not infer from this that every Israelite dwelt in absolute solitariness;
but rather, as a collective unit, Israel dwelt alone, and was not "reckoned
     among the nations."

     Another...

     John 14:16 (AMP)
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter
(Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby),
that He may remain with you forever--

"ANOTHER" can only mean  "ONE MORE,  NOT THE SAME!"

     Two...
     John 8:17-18
In your [own] Law it is written that the testimony (evidence) of two persons
     is reliable and valid.
     Deuteronomy 19:15 (AMP)
One witness shall not prevail against a man for any crime or any wrong
in connection with any sin he commits; only on the testimony of two or three
witnesses shall a charge be established.

     Two...
     John 8:18 (AMP)
     I am One [of the Two] bearing testimony concerning Myself;
and My Father, Who sent Me, He also testifies about Me.

     Two...
John 15:24  If I had not done (accomplished) among them the works
which no one else ever did, they would not be guilty of sin.
But [the fact is] now they have both seen [these works] and have hated
     both Me and My Father.

What other inference can be drawn from this application by Jesus
of this legal requirement of two  to Himself and the Father?
His meaning is made plain: "I and the Father make two."

Not two Gods, but two distinct persons within One Godhead.

Examine any exhaustive concordance and it will be plain to you
that "both" signifies "more than one,"  with the words "seen and hated."

The words "seen and hated" are not identical terms, they are distinct.
In the context of the verse and the consistency of word "meaning" recognition,
the word "both" indicates plurality and distinction between "Me and My Father"
     in this passage.

     Both...We... Our...

John 14:23 (AMP) Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me,
he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our home
(abode, special dwelling place) with him.

The evidence that a plurality exists in the Godhead is too strongly stated
by the Scriptures to be successfully denied.
No honest discussion of the divine nature can ignore the revelation
of the Word  concerning this plurality.
     ===========================================

    Monotheism...

Now let us seek how we can understand this truth (reality) of plurality
and reconcile it with the revelation of "one God."
Without understanding the plurality of the Godhead we are left exposed
to doctrines that purpose to distort our belief in One God, true monotheism.

Monotheism is represented by many movements or belief systems.
Not only the "Jesus Only" movement, but also Judaism, Mohammedanism,
Russellism, and Moderism are proponents of monotheism.

However, divergent their views may be on many subjects,
these groups are firmly united in their anti-Trinitarian stand.

In order that we have a clear understanding of true monotheism (one God),
we need to let the Scriptures by the entire Word of God reveal this truth.
In order to define our faith and Trinitarian belief it is necessary that we have
emphasized what the Scriptures tell us of the plurality of the Godhead
in order to combat unscriptural belief of anti-Trinitarians.

     We believe in One God...

Unfortunately there are those who are not thoroughly acquainted
with what the Scriptures define as true monotheism in plurality of persons.
Consequently, they assume the  "Three God" doctrine
is the Trinitarian doctrine.  So let's dive into the Word of God
and let the Light of Truth be enlightened to our hearts and minds!

A belief of the infallibility of the Holy Scriptures compels the Church
to state that there is one God… [one "subject" of reference.]

As the Bible reveals the Trinity it does not conclude a mathematical equation
that one God is three Gods or that one person is three persons.

What we need to understand is that "one" is not always a reference
     to a mathematical (1) "one.”

Let the universal law of mathematics demonstrate for us what is difficult
     to grasp through words...
One (1) raised to the 3rd power
     (1st power: 1x1= 1 2nd power: 1x1= 1 3rd power: 1x1= 1)  is still one!
God being “one” thus, is demonstrated as a "multiple" in numeric analysis.

However, "One" God is Not a reference to a single unit
     in an exact mathematical sense,
but "One" is the "essence" of a compound unity, or a unity of more than one,
a unity which involves plurality: a unity in will, plan and purpose .

The Bible demonstrates this physical and spiritual principle.
     Genesis 2:24  (AMP)
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become
united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
     Matthew 19:4-6 (AMP)
4 He replied, Have you never read that He Who made them from the beginning
     made them male and female,
5 And said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother
and shall be united firmly (joined inseparably) to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh?
6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate).
     1 Corinthians 6:16 (AMP)
Or do you not know and realize that when a man joins himself to a prostitute,
he becomes one body with her?
The two, it is written, shall become one flesh.
      Ephesians 5:31-33 (AMP)
31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother
and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
32 This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ
     and the church.
33 However, let each man of you [without exception] love his wife
as [being in a sense] his very own self; and let the wife see that she respects
and reverences her husband [that she notices him, regards him, honors him,
prefers him, venerates, and esteems him; and that she defers to him,
praises him, and loves and admires him exceedingly].
     1 Kings 22:13  KJV
And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him,
saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king
     with one mouth:

John 17:22   (AMP) I have given to them the glory and honor which You
have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:

     Acts 4:32  KJV
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart
and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things
which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

1 Corinthians  3:88  (AMP) He who plants and he who waters are equal
(one in aim, of the same importance and esteem), yet each shall
receive his own reward (wages), according to his own labor.

Ephesians  2:14 (AMP)  For He is [Himself] our peace
(our bond of unity and harmony).
He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body],
and has broken down (destroyed, abolished)
the hostile dividing wall between us,

     1 John 5:7  KJV
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father,
the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Now to review the principle of plurality in the unit of "one"...
      ● Two people (husband and wife) "shall become one flesh."
      ●  Paul the planter and Apollos the waterer are "one" in purpose.
      ● God has made both Jew and Gentile "one" in Redemption in Christ.
      ● The multitude of believers are described as of "one heart and one soul."
It is easy to see that the Bible frequently expresses a unity
which involves a plurality, a compound unity.

There is a much deeper study of this topic in which the Hebrew language
reveals the word "achid" which means “a united one.”

The verse of Deuteronomy 6:4  uses this Hebrew word for ONE.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Again, we find plurality as the Hebrews recognize the “unit of one”
     in “Jehovah.”
There are those who hold to the ‘doctrine’ that GOD IS ONE NOT THREE
DISTINCTIVE…Never-the-less, here are many other references to "achid"
which denotes the plurality of one in a “united one.”

This “one’ thing we know: Israelites recognition that…
     JEHOVAH is LORD or GOD.

The meaning of the word "Jehovah appears from Exodus 3:14
to be "the unchanging, eternal, self-existent God,"
     the "I am that I am," a convenant-keeping God.
     (Compare Malachi 3:6 ; Hosea 12:5 ; Revelation 1:4 Revelation 1:8 .)
The Hebrews gave extensive definition to the attributes of God.
     The Hebrew word is translated "Jehovah" in Exodus 6:3 ;
Psalms 83:18 ; Isaiah 12:2 ; 26:4 , and in the compound names mentioned below.
They worshiped "Jehovah" as  "Adonai"... LORD."

     Exodus 6:3 (KJV)
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob,
by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.

     Exodus 3:15 (AMP)
God said also to Moses, This shall you say to the Israelites:
The LORD, the God of your fathers, of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob,
has sent me to you! This is My name forever, and by this name
I am to be remembered to all generations.
[Note in this verse, "Lord" has been capitalized to "LORD" for emphasis
     in our study!]

[Note: To know the name of God is to witness the manifestation
of those attributes and apprehend that character which the name denotes:
     (Exod. 6:3; I Kings 8:33ff.; Ps. 91:14; Isa. 52:6; 64:2; Jer. 16:21)
     God’s name is His self-revelation.
The name signifies the active presence of the person in the fullness
     of the revealed character.]

When used of the true God of Israel, El is almost always qualified
by additional words that further define the meaning that distinguish Him
from false gods. (El was the supreme god of the Canaanite pagans.
He was the creator deity, the father of gods and men, and the highest judge
and authority in all divine matters and human affairs).
In the Old Testament of the Bible,  the creator deity is referred to as El,.
El points to the power of God Himself.
Elohim is a form of El), or Yahweh.
Elohim exhibits God displayed in his power as the creator and governor
of the physical universe, the name Jehovah designates his nature
as he stands in relation to man, as the only almighty, true, personal,
holy Being, a spirit and "the father of spirits,"
     Numbers 16:22 (AMP)
And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God,
the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin
and will You be angry with all the congregation?

     El-Shaddai means God Almighty.
Shaddai is derived from another word meaning breast,
which implies that Shaddai signifies one who nourishes, supplies,
and satisfies. It is God as El who helps, but it is God as Shaddai
who abundantly blesses with all manner of blessings.

4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the
     shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.

     {JEHOVAH-NISSI = Jehovah my banner.}

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.

     {JEHOVAH-MeKADDISHKEM = Jehovah that doth sanctify you.}
6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me
all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house
of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

     ● historical applications,
     ● who they were written to,
     ● why they were written,
     ● whether they are literal or symbolic

     Paul writes to Timothy
     2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP)
Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God

     Colossians 3:10-11  AMP
10 And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self],
which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded
into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge
after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it. [Gen 1:26.]
11[In this new creation all distinctions vanish.]
There is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew,
circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations
whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [who are the most savage of all],
nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [everything and everywhere,
to all men, without distinction of person].

{Note: The very last expansion of the Greek meaning of "all in all.
to all men, without distinction to person" relates to distinctions among men
     and not to the distinction of the Persons of the Trinity.}
     Full understanding is obtainable through
    Colossians  2:7-13  AMP:

7 Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted
[in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him,
becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith,
just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it
     with thanksgiving.
9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell
in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

God's Divine Nature is Personified in the Lord Jesus Christ!

     Revelation 19:10 (AMP)
10 Then I fell prostrate at his feet to worship (to pay divine honors) to him,
but he [restrained me] and said, Refrain! [You must not do that!]
I am [only] another servant with you and your brethren who have
[accepted and hold] the testimony borne by Jesus. Worship God!
For the substance (essence) of the truth revealed by Jesus
is the spirit of all prophecy [the vital breath, the inspiration of all inspired
preaching and interpretation of the divine will and purpose,
     including both mine and yours].

     Ephesians 4:21 (AMP)
Assuming that you have really heard Him and been taught by Him,

     Colossians 2:9 (AMP)
9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell
in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

Let’s fully appreciate the next verse as it applies to our study of distinctive:

10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life
[in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--
and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority
[of every angelic principality and power].

     Colossians 2:11 (AMP)
11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision
not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by]
Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt,
carnal nature with its passions and lusts).
{note; Christ Jesus, was a “Person of flesh"  (His human nature)
and is a Divine Person” (as to His divine nature))…

Son of Man and Son of God was sinless and without guile.
He resisted and conquered the corrupt carnal nature
      with its passions and lusts!}

12[Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him
in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him
[to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed]
when He raised Him up from the dead.
{note: circumcised of a hard rebellious heart and ‘united as one’
      with the Father through Christ)

13 And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision
of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature),
[God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us
      all our transgressions,
      ===============================================

It is wonderfully scriptural and satisfying to our understanding
that several Bible versions demonstrate the use of plural pronouns
whereby there are conversations among the three
Persons in the Godhead, each of whom have a will and each of Whom
were active in the Creation as recorded.

     Genesis 1:2-3  KJV   And the earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God
moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Hebrews 10:7  (AMP) Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will,
O God--[to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.

John 12:28 (AMP) [Rather, I will say,] Father, glorify (honor and extol)
Your [own] name! Then there came a voice out of heaven saying,
I have already glorified it, and I will glorify it again.

Psalm 2:7  (AMP) I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me,
You are My Son; this day [I declare]

      I have begotten You. [Heb 1:5; 3:5,6; 2 Peter 1:17,18.]

Psalm 110:1  (AMP) THE LORD (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah),
Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool.
     [Matt 26:64; Acts 2:34; 1 Cor 15:25; Col 3:1; Heb 12:2.]

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are distinct...

      ● The Father and the Holy Spirit are never spoken of as manifestations
          in the Scriptures.
      ● Jesus Christ , the Son of God, the brightness of His glory
and the express image of His Person, alone is described
as the manifestation of the Godhead.

     1 Timothy 3:16
And great and important and weighty, we confess,
is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness.
He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated
in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations,
believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.
      ● It was not the Father nor the Holy Spirit , but the Son who was incarnated,
and was "received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."
Spiritually, the "right-hand is the position and aptitude of Power
         and Authority.

      Luke 1:32  KJV
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest:
and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

      Luke 1:35  KJV
And the angel answered and said unto her,
The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest
shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born
of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Mark 16:19  So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them,
was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.

      ● Let us also note that the Father nor the Holy Spirit are said to be
manifestations of each other or to be manifestations of the Son.

If language teaches anything, the New Testament teaches that the
Son of God and the Holy Spirit were far more than agencies,
     or impersonal powers.

     ● The Son of God and the Holy Ghost are revealed as personal Agents.
It is imperative that we understand the essence of the Divine Persons...
     ● If the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost were mere manifestations,
why is there such detail given to them and their Divine natures
to distinguish one from the other?
     ● Can a manifestation really be said to love another manifestation?
     ● If only a manifestation, when the purpose of the manifestation is fulfilled,
would not the manifestations themselves cease to exist?

Another aspect of the Trinity is the Perfect Mutual Knowledge
     each have of one another.

     Father and the Son...

     Matthew 11:27  AMP
     All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father;
and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son
     except the Father...

     Son and the Father...

     Matthew 11:27  AMP
...and no one fully knows and  accurately understands the Father except
the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known.

     Father and the Holy Spirit...

     Romans 8:27  AMP
And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind
of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is]...

     Holy Spirit and the Father...

     Romans 8:27  AMP
...because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God]
in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.

     1 Corinthians 2:10-11  AMP
10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through
His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and
examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless
things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond
     man's scrutiny].
11 For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes
through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him?
Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts
of God except the Spirit of God.

     Son and the Holy Spirit...

     John 14:26  AMP
26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate,
Strengthener, Standby), the Holy  Spirit, Whom the Father will send
in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf],
He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall
(will remind you of,bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

     John 16:7-8  AMP
7 However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable
(good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away.
Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate,
Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close
fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close
     fellowship with you].
8 And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world
and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness
(uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment:

Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father...

    John 16:13-15  AMP
13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes,
He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth).
     For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority];
     but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father;
He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce
and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon)
what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said
that He [the Spirit]  will take the things that are Mine and will reveal
(declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.

STATEMENTS of REVIEW<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are distinct...
They are One God in Will, Plan and purpose.

     ● The Father and the Holy Spirit are never spoken of as manifestations
in the Scriptures.  Their existence is attributable to their ESSENCE!
     ● Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the brightness of His glory and
the express image of His Person, is described as the manifestation
of the Godhead Bodily. He alone was "seen" in physical form on earth,
         visible as human flesh.

1 Timothy 3:16  And great and important and weighty, we confess,
is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness.
He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and
vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels,

     [and] taken up in glory.

     ● It was not the Father nor the Holy Spirit , but the Son who was incarnated,
and was "received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."
The Right Hand of God is the placement of ALL Authority and Power!

     Luke 1:32  KJV
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest:
and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

     ● That throne is the Promised Eternal Throne of David!

The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest
shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which
shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

     ● The same action is receive by those who profess Jesus Christ as
the Son of God and commit to be His follower, believing His incarnation.
The mystery of being "born-again" of the Spirit is accomplished by the
infilling of the Holy Spirit! We become a New Creature (transformed
in our immortal souls and spirit into Christ's marvelous Light!
The power and authority of Christ is welcomed and and as such is made
active in our daily lives maturing us on earth for our eventual transfiguration.)

     Matthew 28:18 (AMP)
Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them,
All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth
     has been given to Me.

Mark 16:19  So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them,

    ● The Scriptures are very clear to specify each member of the Godhead
as a (spirit) Person who lives forever (eternally).
We, too, are spirit persons in Christ destined to live eternally in His Light
or (based upon one's choosing and actions)
are eternally destined to live in darkness and fire...
void of the Presence of God!

    Luke 16:24 (AMP)
And he cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me,
and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water
and cool my tongue, because I am in severe agony in this flame.’

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     Distinctions of the Godhead:
1 John 5:7 (AMP)  So there are three witnesses in heaven:
     the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one;

The Father...  (Jesus teaching His disciples to pray follows:)
    Matthew 6:9
Our Father Who is in heaven,
    Matthew 6:13
For Yours is the kingdom and the power
    and the glory forever. Amen.

    John 17:1
WHEN JESUS had spoken these things,
He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said,
Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify Your Son,
so that Your Son may glorify and extol and honor and magnify You.

    John 17:3-5
3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive,
recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You,
the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the]
Christ (the Anointed one, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.
4 I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work
that You gave Me to do.
5 And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such
majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed.

    The Son...
John 12:34  At this the people answered Him, We have learned from the Law
that the Christ is to remain forever; how then can You say, The Son of Man
must be lifted up [on the cross]?
Who is this Son of Man? [see Ps 110:4.]

    Matthew 17:5 (AMP)
While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud [composed of light]
overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,
This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am [and have always been]
    delighted. Listen to Him!

    Mark 1:11 (AMP)
And there came a voice out from within heaven,
You are My Beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.

    Mark 9:7 (AMP)
And a cloud threw a shadow upon them, and a voice came out of the cloud,
saying, This is My Son, the [most dearworthy] Beloved One.
Be constantly listening to and obeying Him!

    Hebrews 7:24 (AMP)
24 But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever.

Hebrews 13:8 (AMP) Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same,
yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

    Holy Ghost...
Hebrews 9:14  KJV  How much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

We have built precept upon precept to share the divine truth
    of the Blessed Trinity.
●Truth is a pearl of great price.
●The supreme test of our love for truth is to be willing to humble
ourselves to it and to receive the Word and the written record
    of the Holy Spirit.

When we set aside our voice of opinions for the truth itself,
then we can be said to love truth.

Your Future is decided by whose voice you choose to believe...
Question: Who have I chosen to believe?

    John 3:5 (AMP)
Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit,
he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God
